Mark is fantastic to work with. Him and his team do great work and his prices were very reasonable. His quote for the original job I called him out for, which was one banana palm trimming, was less than half the price of one of his competitors. If you need tree work, don’t hesitate to call.

I called to have a tree cut down for my parents’s home. I was able to send a picture of the tree and get a rough estimate until they arrived an hour later to look at the tree. The estimate was fair and the service was needed so the sons stayed behind and did the job. They were hard working and thoughtful in their work. They told us when they left for lunch and when they came back, finished the job. They cleaned up the yard and did an excellent job in preserving the flowers that were around the tree which have sentimental value. The neighbors AND the mailman complimented us on the job they did. Highly recommend them!

We have used this company twice and we are so extremely satisfied with their knowledge and work. We needed our large oak tree trimmed away from the house as well as our mesquite tree. Explained the importance of cutting it if you were going to cut it and trim it up and clean it up based on the size of the trees. We needed them a third time I know they would be top on our list.

This is the third time we have used Mark's tree service and we couldn't be more pleased. We have four mature Live Oaks and three Red Oaks in our yard in the Morningside neighborhood, Corpus Christi, TX. Mark's crew, which included his son Noah, trimmed the seven trees plus a neighbor's Cottonwood that was hanging precariously over our detached garage. Everything looks great, and the price was reasonable. My husband and I highly recommend Kalbfleisch & Sons Tree Service.

Mark and his team did an amazing (and fast) job of uprooting, cutting down, and trimming several of the trees in our front and backyard. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to respond and accommodate my call. We would definitely recommend his services, and plan to use him in the future for any of our tree needs!

Mr. Mark Kalbfleisch has an exceptionally professional and pleasant demeanor. He arrived promptly to place a bid and for the job which was scheduled for the next day. He and his crew worked efficiently and quickly. In six hours, they pruned two large trees, and removed three small trees as well as a couple of dozen saplings. All stumps were treated to prevent regrowth. They compactly mounded a huge pile of the cuttings near the curb for a special pick-up. According to my on-line search, the cost for their service was within or below the average cost of tree services in Corpus Christi, Texas. My husband and I are well pleased and we would hire this company again.

I Googled tree trimmers near me and Mark was one of the businesses that came up. I read most of the reviews and took a chance calling on a Saturday. He answered and I was pleasantly surprised to be able to set up an appointment for the next week. He showed up on time, looked at all my needs, gave a price in my budget and called his crew that morning. 2 palm trees along with a bottle brush tree were trimmed very nicely. Oak tree was pruned &trimmed , mulch placed around the base and Bird of Paradise bush was cleaned out. Another tree was trimmed back so it was no longer hanging on the roof of the neighbors roof. This was done before I got off work. He kept me posted during the day and even sent me a picture as a preview of what I’d be coming home to. The yard was left neat and clean. I no longer have the ugliest yard in the neighborhood! The neighbors even complimented me on how great the yard looks and called Mark to check out their yard! So pleased with the service, highly recommend and will continue to call him. He even gave me some tips on how to take care of my hibiscuses!

Mark is very professional and courteous. He is also very knowledgeable about trees. He worked within our budget and had an awesome crew that made our trees look great. They were very efficient and cleaned the yard after trimming the trees. We will call them again!

This is the BEST tree service I have ever used by far. They were prompt and courteous and took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted done. Mark Kalbfleisch is a Certified Arborist and has the expert knowledge, crew, teamwork, skills, and tools and made my big oak trees look beautiful. They did exactly what I wanted done. They removed all of the unwanted branches (big and small) and made beautiful cuts which will heal and protect my trees. They also neatly piled all of the limbs at the curbside and cleaned the yard. I highly recommend KALBFLEISCH & SONS to everyone who wants their trees trimmed properly and they do excellent work! I am very pleased and happy that I called them.

I am extremely pleased with the work Mark Kalbfleisch did for me. We have five large oak trees. Mark came out promptly to give me an estimate. He did beautiful work pruning and shaping them so they look neat and still very natural. I was also very impressed by how clean they left my yard! I would not hesitate to call him again.

Mark is knowledgeable about trees and how to make them look nice. He explained his plan and agreed upon a price before starting the cutting. No over-cutting. He and his crew shaped our large live oak very well. He was early and worked in the heat of the day. The price was reasonable for the job. I highly recommend Mark for your tree service needs.

Kalbfleisch & Sons happened to have availability the day I called! They did a fantastic job trimming five trees, cleaned up afterward, and put all the brush by the road. The trees look amazing and they were finished quickly! I will absolutely call them next time we need help with our trees!!! Very professional and did a great job explaining what they were going to do ahead of time.

Mark and his team did a great job at our house. He offered a very convenient same day service for us. Once we agreed on a the price, his team started right away and finished by the end of the day. They also removed a very large cactus tree that was leaning into our back neighbors yard. Mark took the time to visit with the neighbor and receive approval to access their back yard. The team also cleaned up the small remnant debris with rakes and blowers. I was very pleased with the outcome and his team. They were very professional and friendly.

Called two tree trimming companies, set two appointments for them on my day off to get estimates. One never showed and the other called and was available early, that was Kalbfleisch and Sons.
Reasonable price and they were able to start within an hour of giving their estimate.
They did a great job and hauled everything off. The men on his crew were quiet and worked steadily without pausing. In less than three hours they had taken care of all that needed to be done.
I would highly reccomend them!

We had an excellent experience with Kalbfleisch & Sons. A very pleasant young man came to our house to give us a free estimate. He was very respectful and honest. After the estimate was accepted the gentleman and his brother started to cut down our trees that same day. They stacked everything very nice and neat on the curb making sure to sweep and leave nothing in the street or on the sidewalk. (This was because I chose to use the city to pick up the brush.) Their mother also came to help later that day. It is Only Because I had asked for the estimate later in the day and I had an electrical wire against one of our trees that they had to come out for a second day otherwise it would have all been done that same day. (It was quite a bit of work). These gentlemen were very hard working, very safe, very respectful and just very pleasant to work with. Would Highly recommend them.

I have used Kalbfleisch & Sons Tree Service multiple times. And they always do a wonderful job. They know what they are doing when cutting my trees and they take special care in what they do.

I couldn't be more pleased with my experience with Mark and his crew. Mark was there at the time we had agreed upon. He was able to give me an estimate, begin the work and call in his crew within an hour. Everyone involved with this company was courteous and did a great job They took care to clean up everything leaving our yard and trees looking great. We will definitely use them again and would recommend them.

My experience with this company could not have been any better. I will 100% be using them again and recommending them to any one that needs a knowledgeable group to take care of their trees.

First sign of a good business is responsiveness. I won't blame it on Corpus, but let's just say there have been many times I have needed something done and get ZERO response. So when Mark answered the phone right when I called, I was already impressed. We spoke for a few minutes on a Friday and I told him that it was brush set out in my neighborhood and they will be picking up starting on Monday. He said that he would see what he could do, but they were pretty busy. I told him that I was not in a rush and understood that I should have called earlier. He discussed my options to have the trimmings hauled away. So needless to say, I was SHOCKED when he called on Monday and asked if they had come by yet and, if not, he would like to get his crew over here to start. I know this was great service mixed with a little luck, but it shows that he listened to his customer and did try! Next time I will be calling and scheduling earlier.

Another sign of a good company is their knowledge. He knows his stuff and even offered me tips on how to be successful with my other trees/plants. I appreciated his understanding of the natural shape and growth of my trees and how him and his crew discussed things first to make sure they only took what was necessary. They also know the city code and made sure I was in compliance.

Lastly, is price. This is the main driver for most people when choosing any service. I will say that I am not well-versed on tree trimming prices in the area (mainly because two of the other places in town never called back - see first paragraph), but they were definitely more expensive then the butcher shop I hired several years ago. However, I found their price to be extremely reasonable for the amount of work they did, the time they spent at my house, and the level of expertise they provided. They were also clean and respectable to my property. I did ask others that have used various places for tree trimming and they all said I was given a really fair price.

Mark went above and beyond! He was able to schedule tree trimming on a short notice and got it done despite the rain and mud. He and his crew did an excellent job making our over grown live oak shine. Not only did he make our tree beautiful again, his crew did a wonderful job cleaning up limbs and leaves and even coordinated branch pick up. You’re in good hands with Kalbfleisch & Sons. I would highly recommend them!

Excellent tree service with a certified arborist that took care of our oak trees last week after Hurricane Harvey had broken so many of the limbs. Mark and his six-man crew were so great to work with. They were efficient, had a great sense of humor even though it was an extremely hot day, very careful to not damage our personal property, and cleaned up and removed all the cuttings when the work was completed. It was also very reasonably priced for all the hard work they had to do. Will definitely call them again when we need more tree service.

Mark and his crew recently cut down three dead trees and trimmed about six established trees for me. I found them to be organized, knowledgeable and efficient. They did a great job, and price paid was very fair. I will call them again, and highly recommend their work.
