I cannot recommend Coastal Construction enough. They are extremely honest, reliable, and communicative.

Greg answered all of my questions, worked with the insurance inspector, and made sure everything was done correctly.

I had an old roof which I had considered getting replaced. Then a hail storm came through which made me realize at least a portion of the cost might be covered by my insurance.

Greg came out an reviewed my situation. He recommended setting up an appointment with the insurance company.

He came to the meeting and was able to show the insurance representative exactly why it should be covered.

The agent was able to approve the replacement of the ENTIRE roof.

The team was professional and on time as well as spent a significant amount of time cleaning up after the job. I've already referred one neighbor to them and I will do the same in the future. Thanks Greg.

Coastal Roofing provides excellent service. It's hard to find a roofing company with integrity and honesty. My roof needed total replacement, and it was completed the same day. If you need a new roof, do not settle for less; hire this company!

A summer wind storm knocked off the top of a tree in my yard, resulting in three hand-sized punctures in my roof. I got a verbal recommendation to try out Cypress Custom Roofing. I also contacted another well rated roofing company.

Cypress Custom was very responsive. We discussed the damage verbally over the phone and they were able to help me understand ballpark cost. Two days later, they were at my door ready to inspect and get to work. They had actually driven by my house the day before so they could arrive prepared with the correct color replacement shingles. Two hours later, my roof was fixed and for a very fair price. Looks great.

The other roofing company did get back to me too...it would 4-6 weeks before they could inspect and provide an estimate.

Overall great experience. Highly recommend.

We chose our LOE neighbor, Seth Gavin, who owns Coastal Construction Roofing & Restoration (CCRR), which has been in the business for decades and uses the same professional crew each and every time. He's done dozens of roofs in LOE and Seth offers a 10-yr labor warranty and uses Certainteed shingles, which are probably the best available.

Most other roofers will offer just a 1, 3 or 5-yr labor warranty on lesser products. Seth will also include more decking replacement, if necessary, than they do and will add a drip-edge that looks fantastic.

There are no professional licenses, such as plumbers or electricians must possess, required for roofs...which protect everything within the home for which other licenses are required. Thus, there are a lot of hacks in the business. So pay your deductible and go with a professional roofer with a professional crew and a solid labor warranty, rather than guys the crooks find at Home Depot in the morning.

I highly recommend you speak with Seth, who will consult with you, as he did for me when I was initially considering another roofer, and then choose wisely...with someone who's been in business for a long time (and will be in business for the duration of your labor warranty).

We've known Seth for nearly 20 years, and I vouch for him.

Greg Axelrod and CCRR has outstanding reviews within our neighborhood, and we first worked with him last year after Hurricane Beryl to perform much-needed repairs to buy us time until we could get a full roof replacement.

Fast forward to 2025, we reached out to Greg/CCRR a second time and ultimately decided to hire them again. His bid was very competitive, using top tier shingles from a well-known manufacturer. We were impressed with Greg's knowledge, professionalism, responsiveness, and patience answering all our questions. They have also had the same crew for several years, which is a testament to how Greg and his company treats their employees. I was highly impressed with the quality of their work during the installation, and the care they showed to protect our property and clean up after the job was completed.

I waited a few weeks to write this, and we are still pleased to report there are no leaks with our new roof. If there is an issue down the road, we have full confidence knowing Greg/CCRR will stand behind their product and get us taken care of.

Fly by night company...the kind that everyone warns you about. The estimator wanted a copy of what documents insurance gave me. I didn't give it to him. Quote was over $3,000 higher than the rest of my quotes. Needless to say I didn't hire them. If you're looking, go with a company that's been around a long time and has a good reputation. Definitely get a few bids.
