I've been a loyal client of Zen Chimney Cleaning since 2004 and I've never been disappointed. Their service and pricing have always left me satisfied. They've done an excellent job rebuilding my chimney, installing a fireplace insert, and performing numerous chimney sweeps over the years. This year, I had my usual chimney sweep done and was lucky enough to have Russell assigned to the task. Russell's attention to detail, patience, and willingness to share his knowledge were remarkable. He went above and beyond to clean sections of my insert that had never been touched by a technician before. As impressive as Zen Chimney Cleaning is, Russell is even more so. Over time, the chimney started to leak because the mortar was wearing down, and the unique style of the firebox meant we couldn’t use real wood fires anymore. We also switched our gas fireplace over to use electric logs instead. Unfortunately, the second set of logs also arrived damaged, so we had to wait again for a replacement. The third set finally came in good condition, and another team of technicians came out—Manuel and Joe. They were also very polite and made sure to listen to my questions and concerns. They installed the new logs quickly and efficiently. What stood out to me was that while they were working, they noticed someone acting strangely outside and made sure to let me know, reminding me to lock up when I left. That extra care for my safety really meant a lot. Overall, Zen Chimney Cleaning has great staff who know what they’re doing and make sure your chimney is safe and working properly.
