We worked with Darden-Hines Design +Build to completely remodel three bathrooms and were so pleased with the results that we hired them again a few months later for our total kitchen renovation. The bathrooms turned out stunning and were completed on schedule, so we went into the kitchen project with high expectations—and they delivered!

The kitchen plans were completed quickly. We were working under a tight deadline due to an upcoming trip. Aaron assured us the project would be finished on time, and despite the uncertainties that can come with construction contracts, everything was completed as promised. The crew was always very professional, communication was excellent, and we really appreciated the daily updates on their portal with photos, and notes showing progress. Their design input was incredibly helpful throughout the process.

Overall, we truly enjoyed working with DH Company and would confidently recommend them 100%.

DHDB takes on complex issues that can be quite intimidating. DHDB brought our 1950s house up to the modern age without a complete teardown, fixing our mechanicals, electrical, and structural issues along with updating a few things along the way. We came back to them for a pool project, and once again, they built exactly what we wanted.

Aaron and DHDB were incredible to work with for our kitchen remodel. An undetected water leak in our kitchen forced us to redo kitchen flooring, living room flooring and kitchen cabinets. From helping us navigate the insurance obstacles, sourcing matching flooring, and working through several kitchen design iterations, we couldn’t be happier with DHDB process and outcome.

Working with Aaron was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Our project--doing an addition to a small old house in a conservation district--had all kinds of challenges and constraints: the site, the budget, the timing, the permits. But throughout the process, Aaron and Karl made it easy and even fun. We would work with them again in a heartbeat. In fact, our recommendation was so enthusiastic that our next-door neighbor chose Darden-Hines for her project as well. One of the great things about working with them (unfortunately very rare among contractors) was the communication: prompt, clear, consistent, 100% reliable. We always knew exactly what was happening, when, why and how much. I fully expect that it will only be a few years until they start working exclusively on megamansions in the Park Cities and Beverly Hills, so if you have a small or medium-sized project (as we did), I would book them while you still can.

Darden-Hines Design+Build did a major remodel of our kitchen/dining/living room spaces. including taking down walls and putting in support beams. We are thrilled with the completed project and wish we hadn't waited so long! Throughout the project Aaron and his team communicated well, answered my (many!) questions patiently, provided guidance and recommendations but did not push their agenda/ideas, were respectful of our home (we remained living there throughout the renovations), and even made friends with our big dogs :)

I have worked with Darden Hines Design Build on a couple of different interior design projects. It was a GREAT experience! They have a very efficient and thoughtful process to work through with clients. They spent a significant amount of time interviewing us and working through the discovery process to pinpoint our overall aesthetic, important project details and budget goals. The interior design presentation was spectacular! A few minor tweaks and it was exactly what we were looking for. DHDB is a joy to work with all while providing an outstanding customer experience. I highly recommend their services!

Very happy with our experience with Darden-Hines! This was our first major home renovation and they were very patient and provided a lot of helpful advice through the design process for our two bathroom re-models. Once we got into the construction phase, they did an excellent job keeping us informed daily by providing photos and comments on the progress.

After experiencing significant flood and water damage, our home was taken all the way down to the studs. From what could have been an overwhelming situation, Darden Hines turned it into an incredible transformation. They not only renovated our entire home beautifully, but also redesigned the space, added a brand-new laundry room, and built a stunning deck.

The level of organization and communication was exceptional. Their online portal allowed us to see daily progress updates, communicate directly with the design team and contractor, and review photos documenting each step of the process. There was a dedicated lead project manager who visited the site daily, ensured quality control, and consistently uploaded detailed notes and photos to the portal.

Every professional involved—from the carpenter to the painter and all the skilled tradespeople—demonstrated true excellence, craftsmanship, and pride in their work. Communication was always clear and consistent through text, email, and the portal, especially with the head contractor, which gave us complete confidence throughout the project.
