Mike and Dave @ Original Landscape Concepts are Amazing. I rarely post reviews and having built / purchased almost 50 homes - I have had my fair share of good and bad experiences. NEVER have I been as wowed, amazed and impressed by a landscape company. First - they are just great people. Salt of the earth kind of guys. Thoughtful, empathic, respectful, considerate, honest, integral, trustworthy and real. Second - they flawlessly and seamlessly blend together art, construction, architecture and design. They spent A LOT of time coming up with something that worked for my yard. Something cool, modern, special and unique that fit perfectly for my .50 acre lot. They were visionaries - yet super common sense and down to earth. They took advantage of the natural topography, hand sketched a plan and executed perfectly on time and on budget. They gave me a ton of color, texture, and privacy that just worked with the pool, concrete, and natural surroundings. They also integrated well with all my other contractors (turf guys, pool builder, etc..). Third - service AFTER the sale. Exemplary customer service. These guys stood behind what they did. Followed up. Communicated extremely well. I genuinely feel like they wanted me to be happy and love my yard at all costs. Point blank - they executed. They got things done! Their pricing was fair and very competitive and I felt the value for what I got was extraordinary. I met with 5 other landscape companies and liked Mike and Dave the best! They also did my neighbors yard and did a fantastic job there as well. Highly Recommended!

Mike and Dave created a beautiful design and executed it flawlessly. They communicated throughout the project and even made it dog friendly during construction. We would definitely recommend them.

Original Landscape Concepts did a major project at our home 2 years ago and did a beautiful job. This last week we had a problem with one of the large planter's. The planter was not draining and as a result the expensive cactus was dying. We called them and explained our problem and they immediately came out and fixed the issue at no charge. We were amazed that after 2 years they would still stand behind their work and take care of the customer. They are a wonderful company to work with. Not only do they do quality work but, their customer service is excellent. I highly recommend them for any of your landscaping needs.

Mike, David, and their crew recently designed and installed a new landscaping plan for our front and back yard. They also repaired our brick patio area. They made the project so easy and proposed clever, cost effective ways to really enhance the overall look of our home. The result is really beautiful. Original Landscape Concepts is the best landscape design and implementation company I've ever worked with in Dallas. They have excellent design concepts, they executed every detail that they promised, their crews are professional, work incredibly hard, are personable and helpful and truly cared about the work they were performing. They are a service oriented company from their first visit to our home to all the attention after the job is completed. They have shown up, without our request, multiple times to check on the new trees and new grass that they installed. We are huge fans of their service.

We moved into our newly remodeled home in April 2020 during COVID-19. To our amazement, the pandemic didn’t stop the landscaping process. Mike, Dave, and the incredible crew did a fabulous job – from the design that exceeded our expectations, to the final beautifully completed front and back yard. This is an amazing landscaping design/build firm led by an amazing duo, Mike and Dave. I initially reached out to Mike because I loved their portfolio on Houzz. Upon our first meeting, I could tell he was a very nice and honest person, someone that you would want to work with right away. They’re always busy, but I am glad I waited. Mike came up with a conceptual plan for my home, and it was amazing. Mike is not just very good at what he does, but more importantly, I could sense that he just wanted what was best for me, and would try his best to help me achieve what I was looking for. It is so hard to find business led by individuals that are ethical, honest and really have their clients’ best interests at heart.

While I am sad that they won’t be able to do the installation for me due to distance/scheduling logistics, I am so grateful for their vision and creativity. I wholeheartedly recommend Mike and Dave for your landscaping design/installation. It will be very hard for me to find a more talented and kind team.

Original Landscape Concepts has designed and built 2 projects for my family. The most recent one was in excess of $200k. Dealing with all the contractor's on our remodel, Mike and David were the easiest to work with. They show up when they say they will and do quality work with the upmost professionalism. They managed multiple subcontractors for us (lighting, irrigation, paving) that freed us up from that responsibility. They were always available when we had a question or concern. Highly recommend.

I Don't have enough good words to say for Mike Dickerson and his team!! We have been doing a whole home renovation and Original Landscape Concepts is by far the best group we have worked with of all the trades involved in the whole process. They have salvaged the renovation experience for us. Their vision, responsiveness, management, ability to work with their clients to achieve exactly what suits them and accommodation of their goals is truly top notch.
