I had a great experience with Standard Utility Construction, especially working with Gabriel. He provided excellent customer service from start to finish—professional, respectful, and very knowledgeable about the work being done. What really stood out was his character and integrity; he truly carries himself as a man of God and it shows in how he treats people and handles his responsibilities.

Because of the standards Gabriel represents, I highly recommend the entire company. It’s rare to come across that level of honesty and care these days. Outstanding experience all around!!

We had two gentleman from this company come to our house this evening in Moody. They did a phenomenal job at making sure we got our power back on. After four days with no electricity their pleasant conversation made our evening! Thank you!!

The crew did an excellent job repairing the buried electrical line in my yard in far North Dallas on a Sunday, late afternoon. They cleaned up, filled the holes and had power restored. They couldn't have done a better job. Thank you guys.

So, we recently had an electrical emergency at our home while doing construction and had to call Standard Utility to come out in middle of the night (11:30 pm) and fix a ruptured electrical line that was sitting right beside a gas main. Three gentlemen showed up, talked to us, listened to everything we said and immediately got to work. Those three men Jordan # 2061, Harley# 2313 and Rolando # 2595 on truck # 966 stayed busy through the night even while enduring an angry neighbor of mine who felt compelled to walk over and talk his pointless noise all the while these men stayed busy and stayed focused on the task at hand. They were very professional, very polite, very friendly and took the time to explain to us what exactly happened and how they fixed it. I couldn't have asked for a better crew to assist us. If you have any type of situation and you're looking for a dependable company, I'd highly recommend you call Standard Utility and if possible request this same crew because they do know what they're doing and they don't bring ugly attitudes with them as so many companies do when they have to respond to a call in middle of the night followed by a mouthy neighbor. Thank you gentlemen for everything you did and for being the best solution to our problem.

Shout out to truck 677 crew! Our Power was out last night Oct 9. The base of the power pole had been dug up so it was a mystery why power isn't going to the house. Crew 677 got right to it figuring out the issue, working through the night. No project to small for these essential workers. We are grateful to have dedicated men. Crews #966, #716, and #778 came out to work on a transformer in front of my home in South Dallas. They worked nonstop and handled everything with real dedication. It’s not easy work, but they did a great job and kept things running smoothly. These men definitely deserve some type of appreciation-real hard workers who showed up and got it done.

I had a couple of crews come out to my house today in Arlington to put in a new underground service for my house. I had spoke with the crew leads Austin and Jb. They had assured me everything would be done right and would be cleaned up when they were done. They did an amazing job! I’m disappointed that I couldn’t give this a 5 star review, four guys showed up to work but only three were working. It’s sad to see how people can get away with doing nothing all day while reaping the benefits. I would definitely recommend this crew to others. Overall the work and cleanup was outstanding!

I will echo the comment about these people being absolute jerks. The Lineman parked in front of my driveway, blocking me in and when I requested him to move the truck, he told me to call the police if I want him to move.

Horrible company. Not professional at all.

Their workers hit my main water line in my yard and wont take responsibility even after talking to their guys and they admitted to it.

Worst Utility Contractor. They do not want to work. Always find an excuse not to do the work and then never answer their phone.

Drivers will block your driveway with their trailers and just sit in their truck texting while you ask them to move.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE COMPANY!!! Do not trust what they tell you. They make more damages than fixing things. Look at positive reviews and you’ll find most of them are actually written by their employees. Look at all the one star reviews. You’ve been warned.
