We have had a problem for several months. Our furnace was running all of the time. It was found last week and we tried to go from heat to air. The heat never changed to air. There were all kinds of problems. Our electric bill was high cause the blower had been running for months. Donnie came in and fixed everything. Our unit is 4 years old. We are happy. Also our thermostat was off by 5 degrees. It read 69 but really was 74. I will use Bates for anything we need. We had to call Bates again this week for another problem. They came out the day after Memorial Day at 8:30 A.
M. Took care of the problem fast and efficient. Will definitely use them again.

I called Bates Heating and AC at 0830 in the morning. The Tech arrived around noon at the time quoted. He diagnosed the problem in less than 5 minutes and had it repaired in less than 20. He had a pleasant demeanor even though he had a very full schedule. I don't think you can ask any more of a business than that. They have my business going forward.

Bates Heating & Air came the same day we called to do an honest quote of updating our 25 year old system. Dustin gave us great advice. Thank you!

Showed up on time and was able to determine what was wrong and repaired it. Had to reprogram the thermostat that had failed during during a electrical power surge.

Our AC went off. It was a weekend and David answered the phone. He is always available to discuss the problem & suggest solutions even if it means not using his service!

David did a terrific job installing our new A/C units. First of all, he was VERY responsive and came out to see what was needed immediately. We were given a quote the same day and they turned out to be the most competitive and reasonably priced. David was also very helpful in helping us make the best decision based on our needs and giving us all the information we needed to do so. When the A/C units came in, his team did a terrific job leveling and ensuring the units were installed properly. This is a family-owned business. It makes a big difference dealing with the owner of the company instead of an employee. In addition, David came out to the installation himself to ensure things were done properly and to his satisfaction. If you are looking for a professional team that takes pride in their work and will be there for you when service is needed, I highly recommend Bates A/C and Heating. Our fan went out on our AC unit last night. My husband called Bates this morning, and they were out and replaced the fan this afternoon. Don did excellent work at a fair price plus he was very personable. We will definitely use them again.

These guys are great! With the information that I was able to provide them over the phone, they had an idea of what the problem was. I requested a tech early on a Friday and they were able to support that afternoon. Excellent service at a great price. I will recommend them to anyone who asks.

Dustin arrived about and hour after I called. Found a clogged line and took care of the problem. He also did a quick check of the outside and attic units and adjusted the fan speed. Awesome service. Awesome staff.

I highly recommend Bates to perform A/C diagnostics as well as maintenance. Bates was able to quickly diagnose and fix the problems with a new air handler I had installed by another company located in Granbury. The other company has been out several times and apparently has been trying to sell me things that I do not need such as a new compressor in addition to new duct work. If they would have adjusted the air flow correctly my problems would have prevented. I am so happy that my house is now cooling properly. I am so pleased with them I am having a complete new A/C system installed in another area on my property. Their maintenance agreements are also very reasonable. It's really great when you find a company with the knowledge and skill to do the job correctly the first time. Dustin was also great to work with. Thanks!

Bates AC’s rep explained everything to me! I now have AC ( I was going to have to wait at least another week with the other company). Totally a full month without air conditioning in Hot Texas. I felt that The owner of Bates and his tech really cared and wanted to help. Their callout fee and adding Freon fees were cheaper than the others and this tech actually asked for the instructions for the thermostat setting, which was impressive!

Called because AC was not kicking on. I have two little one's and the house was getting hot faat. They came out next morning, quickly identified the issue and fixed it. No hidden fees or add ons. They were extremely professional and very reasonably priced. I will definitely use them again if I have an issue and not hesitate to refer them.

He didn’t just do a routine check — he thoroughly inspected the system and discovered several issues caused by improper installation from a previous company. One thing I really appreciated was that there was no pressure to sign up for a VIP maintenance program or anything extra — just honest, quality service. One call to Bates regarding a multitude of HVAC issues and I was scheduled during a preferential time. Dustin was here as planned, very thorough and friendly. He went above and beyond to fix the issues and I am grateful for a company with small town values like Bates.

Wow! Great service on a short notice holiday weekend! AC wasn’t quite cooling right/enough. Dustin was there in 3 hours, made some adjustments, added some refrigerant and got it back up running great before we had friends and family arrive for the weekend! Thank you!!
