Multimedia solutions was responsible for the pre-wiring of my new home and I am very happy with the work that they did. After closing, they were very open to answering all questions I had on how to connect my surround sound and was very prompt in addressing one issue that was discovered. From their knowledgeable staff and quality work, I would recommend multimedia solutions for your multimedia needs.

Professional and friendly service...

About roughly 1 year ago, the construction of my new home started, and at that time, I was told about Multimedia Solutions as being the contractor who will do my home theater, alarm system and surround sound etc. I was skeptical to sign but I did choose them, since all the prewiring would be done during construction.

Fast forward a year later, I can say I'm very happy I did contract with Multimedia Solutions to do the job!

Professional - they are very professional. They show up on time, great communication, fast response. Erica, the receptionist, always picked up my phone call the first time without long holding, friendly and prompt.

Friendliness - Aaron, Patrick, Jesus, Erica and the whole crew are very nice helpful people to work with.

Quality work - all the systems were installed to my satisfaction the first time, and Patrick and Jesus took the time to show me how everything works, and when there was any question, they responded immediately to resolve the issue. Patrick stayed extra time just to help figure out the problem with my modem configuration, and Jesus came back promptly after 1 phone call to help address an issue with the alarm zones.

Great products and competitive price - I had full confidence in them in providing me the best equipment at prices that would cost me the same (or more) if I had gotten them myself, so this made it less of a hassle for me, and much more convenient.

I rarely write any online reviews (good or bad) - but the team truly deserves my time to write this about them. I highly recommend this company and will continue to do business with them for my future multimedia needs.

As a custom home builder for 20+ years (Alair Homes Houston), I am so proud to partner with MultiMedia Solutions in this very important category. Home technology becomes more and more important each year, and this group stays on the cutting edge. They are happy to help us with the smallest wiring project on a remodel/addition, as well as multi-million dollar custom homes. Customer service is paramount in this category…this group gets it!

Horrible company. Felt coerced into using them because we have a Toll Brothers home. They subcontract so get ready for some random person to show up who has no idea what you actually wanted and when things go wrong you get blamed for it

Company is not good with communication. Can't follow thru with appointments. After 3 day past with zero communication, called a left a message. No return call. Even filled out the appointment form online. Got nothing. If you are busy with bigger jobs that bring more money, I get it, but to go radio silent and can't communicate. Not good business. Especially in a high end neighborhood.

Not sure about their service but this guy will sure loiter in the left lane blocking traffic on a tollway then try to run you off if you attempt to pass. You go guy good luck with your business. If your work is half as bad as you drive, then got dayum.

Forced to use them as Toll Brothers contracts through them for low-voltage wiring. Terrible communication can’t get anybody on the phone. Nobody returns your phone call. Trying to get additional work done in our new construction home and they’re not interested in any business. When someone finally calls you back, it’s not even your representative and they throw an absurd number on you clearly so you don’t ask for more work. Overwhelmed perhaps? Unclear but if you have a choice, I would definitely choose Datasmart over them. Much much better service.

They installed the alarm system in our new home. They drilled through our door’s lock to install alarm magnet and damaged the lock to the point that the door would not close. We had a significant cost to replace the door locking mechanism. Multimedia solutions then charged us to come out and replace the magnet on the new door. A shocking response from their team. All discussions were completely unprofessional. Do not use this company.
