The technicians and team at Comfort Star are amazing! We just had our old, original A/C unit replaced by them and within a day, I can already tell the difference in air quality and air crispness in our home. They were super knowledgeable, responsive, professional and extremely thorough. Scheduling was a breeze and whole job completed in one morning! Highly, highly recommend!!

I own a business so I know the level of standard I hold my own employees and technicians. I sent a request to Comfort Star on their website outlining the issue and they responded within a few hours and said they could have someone out the same day. I wasn't available same day so I scheduled the following late afternoon. Dispatch called me back and let me know that the tech could be there early afternoon if needed - this worked out perfect and he was right on time. The technician (Bert), was one of the most professional and knowledgeable technicians (at any company I have dealt with). In addition to diagnosing and correcting the issue, he gave me a great introduction to Comfort Star and outlined all of the services offered and their capabilities ... never seemed salesy or like he was trying to push anything, just 100% professional technical company representation. I will be using this company from here on out. Excellent Experience.

We have used Comfort Star for a number of years, and have been impressed with the competence and professionalism of their staff. Shane, their technician has just just performed the annual check on our heating system, and I just want to say again, I'm impressed. He knows his stuff! He explained a number of things to watch for, and suggested some DIY tasks that would improve the operation of our unit. That's beyond a regular service call, and its why we always use this company!

I decided to get two opinions on an A/C issue and I’m thankful that I did. One A/C guy was recommended by my neighbor (because she had told me earlier that she knew a guy) and the other was Comfort Star (which I had used before - Shane both times). I called Comfort Star and was annoyed by the $65 service fee because the other guy didn’t charge anything for coming to take a look.

Long story short, the other guy charged me $160 to replace a part that he thought would fix it (it didn’t - it stopped working 15 minutes after he left). He then came back the next day and said I needed to replace my entire AC unit ($3800 total included the friend discount). I was planning on canceling the Comfort Star appointment because I trusted the other guy but I’m glad I forgot. Shane from Comfort Star showed up and I expected confirmation of what I was told two hours before. Instead, I was told that the problem was obvious and no need to replace the entire unit as everything else was in good condition. It ended up costing $400 to fix, but more importantly, he fixed it on the spot versus a 4 days later (which might as well be a year without A/C in Houston).

Anyway, I’m very glad I kept the appointment. They saved me a lot of money (and stress from not having A/C). I learned my lesson and it’s great having a working A/C again.

Comfort Star is an excellent company. I called my Warranty Company about my air-conditioning not working and they assigned Comfort Star who scheduled me for the same day. The receptionist that i talked to on the phone was very professional and courteous, and scheduled me for the same day based on my availability. I received a courtesy call 45 mins prior to the technician arrival to let me know that he is on his way. The technician's name was Shane who arrived at my place on exact scheduled time. He was was extremely friendly, professional, honest, courteous, and knowledgeable. He explained and showed everything to me, and replaced the capacitor. The air-conditioning was back running and cooling perfectly within a few minutes. I strongly recommend them!

Comfort Star and Habib have been taking care of our home's heating and AC units for over 10 years. When the time came to replace our 17 year old unit, there was no question in our mind who was the right choice to do the work. From Zach, the service writer, to the entire crew who did the installation, it was nothing but quality work and professionalism. Another great install by Comfort Star!! - can't recommend them highly enough. They replaced unit #1 a few years back, and kept unit #2 operating for 26 years until, well, it was that time to replace. They carefully measured the volume needed to be cooled plus other unique characteristics, and came up with a 2-zone properly sized unit. Plus we have these fancy new thermostats. Excellent job Comfort Star!!
