Houston Lightscapes is a rare find, coupling significant skill with outdoor lighting whether it be repairing legacy systems or installing new, high quality fixtures with caring customer service.

I spoke with three landscape lighting companies about adding lights to my corner lot inside the Loop. I enjoyed working with Mike Akerman at Houston Lightscapes to create a lighting plan. The installation crew was punctual and cleaned up when they were done. Once I had an opportunity to see the lights at night, I had a couple changes I wanted to make. They followed up in a timely manner and made sure I was happy with the adjustments. The equipment is high quality brass and operates either manually or by an app.

I value the fact that Houston Lightscapes is locally owned. I spoke with another company a couple days prior to meeting Mike. They were a franchise of a national company. The other company's sales guy and his lead installer showed up to my house in a brand new X7 and Tesla. They had a high pressure sales pitch. That didn't sit well with me. Mike is a normal guy and arrived in a white truck. I felt like I was getting a fair deal. I would use Houston Lightscapes again.

They did our front yard lighting I’m guessing 5 years ago and it still looks amazing. We had a few go out once and since we were still under warranty they came out quickly and fixed them for free. High quality products, don’t stub your toe on a light, it will win. Highly knowledgeable people. We will definitely call them to do the back when we are ready.

We had Houston Lightscapes install accent lighting around our front and side yards about 10 years ago. In addition, they suggested and installed a moon light above our pool. The lighting they suggested accents both the house and our landscaping beautifully. After 10 years of the installation, all lights are still working with the original bulbs, except the moon light bulb which we had them replace.
Whenever there has been an issue they get a team to the house to repair it quickly.
We highly recommend Houston Lightscapes if you want your home to look beautiful at night as well as the additional security the lights provide.

I have recently had issues with my landscape lights that were installed 17 years ago by a company no longer in business. I called Houston Lightscapes and explained my issues. There we kind and honest enough to assist me over the phone with troubleshooting the issues rather than send a person out and bill me for a service charge. This has now happened 2 additional times. I will recommend them to anyone who asks me for a recommendation for landscaping lights. Thanks much!!

We had a great experience with Houston Lightscapes. We moved into a home where the yard lights had not been well maintained. All of the old lights needed removed, and we needed help knowing what would look best for the new lights. They were very helpful in their placement recommendations and everything looks so much better now. We even had them come back to add lights in the back and along the driveway. Their pricing was reasonable, they were on time, and finished the job when they said they would. I highly recommend them!

Pricing model is simple...1 cost per light type includes everything (travel time, wiring, installation, climbing trees, etc.). Very satisfied. Have used multiple times, and will again.
