All reviews for Cobra Contracting & Construction

Contacted Cobra Contracting & Construction and spoke to Philip, he was very professional and courteous. He understood my concerns and made an appointment and showed up exactly when he said he would. This man completed the job and took his time to explain it to me step by step, and made sure I understood everything. Philip was great, I will definitely use Cobra Contracting & Construction again and I will refer them to anyone who asks me. Thanks.

Phil is polite, responsible, punctual and hard working! He has saved me TWICE now! I wish everyone was as trustworthy as Phil. Thank you!!

Called morning after Nicholaus ripped shingles off my roof. All within about 2 hours the owner, Philip, answered, came out on time, gave a reasonable quote (accurate to the penny) and completed the repair personally! Insurance came out a week later and confirmed roof was fully repaired. Highly recommend and would use again.

Phillip from cobra contracting did a phenomenal job with my roof.
He was extremely professional, prompt and on time. Not only was he an amazing contractor but went above and beyond handling my insurance company. He stayed in contact with them and did everything he possibly could have to be sure they held up there end after the insurance adjuster missed a key part of my roof.
No doubt what so ever I’m using them again.

Phillip and his team did an amazing job replacing my roof and repairing the damage to the inside of my home. They were courteous and professional. They were able to complete my roof in one day. I highly recommend them for any roofing repairs or replacement you need.

Philip was amazing. Right after I called him to do the inspection, he quickly scheduled it. He did a very thorough inspection, and found other minor issues that could have grown in the future. The repair itself was flawless as well, he kept me up to date with pictures as he was tearing down the damage and walked me through all he did to make the repair as well. Without asking, he even blew off all the leaves in my gutter too at no extra cost. I highly recommend him!!

Cobra Contracting was amazing to work with. Phil was very informative regarding the process of our claim with our insurance to replace our roof. Although, we encountered a couple issues with our insurance, Phil was very patient and assisted us in understanding the steps. Cobra Contracting took care our initial inspection and followed through with our roof replacement. Highly satisfied and strongly recommend!!

If you are reading all these reviews about how everyone is praising Philip and his crew, wondering can someone be that good: Yes, Yes, and Yes they are that good.
I went through 4 contractors before I came across Cobra Contracting & Construction.
The first time I spoke with Philip, everything about roof replacement made so much sense because he explained everything in a very understandable way.
He explained everything in detail, with honesty and professionalism and was very helpful, even taking it upon himself to contact the builder and GAF company. He was also very responsive and on time.
Please, if you are looking for any roofing contractor, give him a call. I promise you have nothing to lose but everything to gain.
I was shocked when he found that my attic had spray foam and
deducted about $500 from the original price we agreed on without me asking. Many thanks for an outstanding, honest and quality service!
Thank God good and honest people are still out there, and thanks for being one!.
Please, when you use them for your roofing needs, let others know, so they can have peace of mind, because that's how I felt.

I utilized Cobra for shingle repair/replacement in 2022 after a wind storm. He checked the entire roof of my home and found other areas that needed to be secured. His work was awesome. Here I am today on 5/17/24 after a tornado hit my subdivision in Cypress on the 16th. I will be utilizing his services for fence replacement and repairs to my roof. I recommend him 100% and feel extremely confident in the work he will do.

Philip himself came out to check on my roof leak, within 24 hours of me contacting him. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and did the work right away. I'd been quoted several hundred dollars from a different roof company and Cobra saved me. I can't recommend this company enough. My entire family now has a new company to patronize. Thank you!

Cobra Contracting re-did my grandmother’s roof in one day flat! They were very professional and walked her though every step of way. We were very surprised with how fast they completed the job and everything was perfect. Our new roof is better than ever thanks to Phil and his crew. I am glad they took the time to walk my grandmother through the process. We loved their work quality and will use them for any home repairs in the future and will surely refer them to her friends. Thank you again Cobra.

The service overall was fantastic. Phillip and his crew did a phenomenal job installing our new roof and price was fair. I would highly recommend him to others who need new roof installations. Clean job and professional!

Cobra Construction owner, Philip Flinn is a credit to the construction industry. He responded to my request within a couple of hours and carried out repairs to my roof within 24hrs. The inspection and maintenance was completed within days. During the 20 years I have lived in TX, Philip is one of the most professional and integral contractors I have done business with.

Phil was absolutely amazing to work with. He was patient and explained the entire process before we signed a contract. He did everything he said he would and on time. He was extremely communicative and available to us throughout the whole process. My new roof looks amazing and we couldn’t be happier! I’m looking forward to working with them on future projects.

I have been using Philip for years and he is my go to person with any issue relates to roof. He can do much more and he does the correct thing. Phillip is an honest business owner and it is very hard to find from my previous experiment with all sorts of the contractors. We had a server storm right after the roof installation and the new roof is storm-proof. He honors 50 years of warranty of his work and that exceeds the roof lifespan by like 20-30 years. It is a confidence that many other contractors are lacking- stand for your work! I would give him 10 stars if google allows me.

I needed a small fix for my fence door after a storm, which also wrecked several fences and roofs in my neighborhood . Most handymen were taking advantage of the situation, giving unreasonable quotes. Philip was not only v. responsive for the small job and but also very reasonable. This company has my future business for anything to do with fencing and roofing etc.

After getting a referral from Angie's List, I contacted Phillip Flinn of Cobra Contracting & Construction LLC to inquire about installing siding on my patio. He referred me to a siding contractor that he works with that performs the work. He was very cordial and professional with assisting me with this. I then asked him if he would take a look at a leaking issue that I had with my roof once the siding was done. He came out to my house and assessed what was needed. He stated that once the siding was completed that he would come out and perform the repairs. After the completion of the siding installation, he did come out and repaired the roof and fortified some areas that needed it. I could not have asked for a more more professional and nicer person to deal with. He treated me like I was a member of his family and he took care of my roof. I highly recommend Cobra Contracting to deal with any all roof issues. You will be in good hands.

Phillip was highly recommended by a previous customer on Nextdoor. He came by to assess the roof for damages and give an estimate on repairs. He is very professional, friendly, knowledgeable and honest. After examining the roof, he thoroughly explained the needed repairs. There was a rotten area that needed to be replaced along with the pipe jack. There were several shingles missing from the ridge. Not only did he replace the missing shingles, but he replaced all of them on the ridge. It was a very professional job and I am very well-pleased. His rate was really reasonable and he was able to schedule me in 3 days. I plan to use him to replace my carpet with laminate.

After Harvey we felt that our insurance was taking advantage of us with our claim. We hired Philip Flinn (Cobra Contracting & Construction llc) to take over he worked with our carrier and when it was all over we received a brand new fully warrantied roof. We love our beautiful roof and he and his team stood by their motto “We do what we say and say what we do” we appreciate his hard work and highly recommend Cobra contracting & construction

Bought a home and roof was compromised. Original roofer would not honor warranty and was just a thorough jerk, to phrase it politely. Philip at Cobra was such a huge help. He was respectful, transparent, and great with communication and responses. He was explained all needed and assured me the issue was fixable. Even added sealant to areas he noticed that had spaces (not a part of original request). Sent me before and after pics to make sure it met my satisfaction.
Great guy, great job! Would strongly recommend to anyone.

Wife and I were in the market for a new roof. We have been in our house 20+ years. Did our home work of various companies. Chose 3 to come to the house and offer bids.

Only Cobra (Phil & Jake) met our expectations. Very knowledgeable regarding their products. Also spotted issues with our roof that we were unaware of. Very fair price. We gave them the job and we’re not disappointed. On time each day. 2 day project. Kept us apprised of the progress even when we were not at home. (Text) Either Phil or Jake were always on site to supervise the work. Tarp on our pool during work. Clean up was great.

I can’t remember the last time I took the time to write a review, but I figured cobra earned it.
