Bought a new house and the air-conditioning unit was close to end of life. I called several AC companies and got quotes. What I noticed is that the other companies provided me a quote to replace the system, while Top Gun gave me the option to repair my old system. While the cost to repair was close to the cost of a new system, I opted to go with the recommended Heat-Pump energy efficient upgrade. Working with the top gun air crew, they educated me a whole lot on how air systems work. Who would have thought how complex these systems could be.

I am unbelievably happy and fully satisfied with the new system and the performance of the Top Gun crew. And they left my house spotless and hauled away the old system.

Just had new system installed May 11, 2024. Tech who did the install, he and his crew did a really good job of installing and getting me up and running to enjoy cool air that night. After approximately 6 hours to complete the job, the install tech in charge spent time to get my thermostat going. All this fancy schmancy new technology threw me for a loop so after they left I didn’t really understand all the bells & whistles. I struggled through the weekend to do settings correctly and try to keep cool, to no avail. I knew I needed a tutorial, so I contacted rep that sold me the system and he had main office send out just the right guy (immediately). I was frazzled and felt like an idiot, but Justin took his time to show me how to set a schedule, and other features and answer my questions. He explained for me how the settings of cooling mode, fan, and compressor work to balance humidity and make my home cool. Besides not understanding how to make the system run properly, humidity was a big issue. Thanks to my hero tech, Justin, I now have a better understanding of my new system with heat pump. He made just the right adjustments to cut the humidity. I can’t say Thank You enough to Justin for being patient, professional and kind. I don’t know it all but I do have a better understanding of how my “new Rolls Royce” runs and I know I have a great support team to help me going forward. Top Gun is Top Notch!!

I've owned my house for over 40 years. I have never experienced the professionalism and follow up Top Gun provided me. If u want no nonsense... quick...fair and attention to detail...choose these folks. My new HVAC unit is great and from office to installers these folks take care of business.

My downstairs A/C tripped the circuit breaker in a Texas summer day and Austin from Top Gun came to the rescue within the hour. He solved the issue and provided service to my A/C Units. Just had a crew from Top Gun finish installing a new system in my house. They haven't been gone long, but I'm more than pleased with the work they've done.

David, the technician that came by and helped me pick out my system, was both informative and helpful the whole time. He took his time going over the options I had and was easily able to help explain anything I had questions about.

The three techs, Manny, Marc, and Julian, who installed the system, were just a great to work with. They were professional and courteous the whole time. Any questions that we had were answered simply and in an easy to understand way. The work they did not only functions as you'd hope but also looks good doing it. They made sure to take the time to leave me with something that let's me know their proud of their work.

My experience with Top Gun Heating and Air was one of a kind. The salesman, David, came out for an estimate.. When he was talking about my needs and options he was very forthcoming and descriptive and was very respectful to my questions. On my initial call, they even gave me questions to ask other companies as they knew I was competing and trying to find the best deal. They came in at Great pricing... thousands below the other two that I got estimates on. Their technicians and installers Daniel, Jose, and Peter were phenomenal with their work. They were kind, courteous, respectful, and meticulous. They enjoyed and took pride in their work and they cared about the quality of work that they performed. They answered any of my questions and we're very friendly. They assured me my energy cost would drop significantly , and they were right . Since I've had my unit, my energy costs are trending to drop from 35 to 50%. I will recommend Top Gun heating and air to everyone I know! Thank you Top Gun for such great service and customer care.

Great service and great people!! I was helped by Austin. He first came to assess what our home needed, then he thoroughly explained what repairs/service we would need since our home is fairly old and we had next to no insulation in the attic. He was very knowledgeable and his competence and made us feel like we could trust him.
Once he was on the job, he kept us informed and updated us along the way. He was quick and effective as well, showing us video and picture proof of the work they had done to assure we were satisfied with the work. Could not recommend this company enough!

Austin came to my house today and helped me get my self-installed Pioneer mini split online. Austin was great, he was punctual communicated clearly, and was upfront about service charges. Most importantly, he found something I did wrong and a silly thing I overlooked, which is exactly what I wanted and needed. I went ahead and gave them 5 stars because from the install of the new unit to the duct cleaning was pretty smooth process. The office staff was always kind and respectful as were the installers and duct cleaners. The only complaint I have is when they were creating new wood flooring for the unit in my driveway they left alot of nails and screws behind that my car tires could catch. Today I went out and picked up those that I could see hoping for the best!

After my AC stopped working, I contacted several repair companies to fix my unit on short notice. Top Gun was the only one that was able to accommodate me. My technician, Justin, did an excellent job and got me up and running. I also felt the pricing was reasonable as well.

Alex went above and beyond! Came out quickly and on time. I really appreciated the education he provided, as I’m a new home owner and he thoroughly explained what was going on with the AC. He showed me all the diagnostics he ran, took videos to point to the issue, and went into our attic to check the dampers.

So happy to have our issue fixed and 100% recommend Alex at Top Gun.

Absolutely blown away (no pun intended) by the team at Top Gun Heating and Air! After a recent, terrible experience with another local company who completely botched the original installs, leaving me and my family without A/C for nearly a month, I was hesitant to trust anyone else. But from the moment John R. (the owner) at Top Gun stepped in, it was clear we were in expert hands. Their technicians are incredibly knowledgeable, honest, and professional—they quickly identified and explained the problems from the previous install (only a month old), giving us options and a transparent timeline for the new installation of two brand new, high efficiency units.

Another “Outstanding” performance by the Top Gun Heating and Air crew! My mini split installers, Kevin and Manny, were top-notch and made this job look easy. They were both prompt, professional, courteous, and went “above and beyond” in making sure their install was clean and neat. This is my second AC job with Top Gun and everything has been a wonderful experience both times. Ally and Jon have also been very helpful and making sure we were taken care of post-installation. You won’t find a better AC company in the DFW metroplex area. This is a 5-star company, from top to bottom. Highly recommended!

Top Gun is fantastic. I was having issues with my heater not working. They came out within the hour and had me up and ruining in no time, very professional and will be using them again. Took the time to adjust my nest settings as well to make sure previous company had set it up correctly.

Top Gun Air is wonderful! They were responsive and really listened to our A/C issues and the uneven temps in our house from room to room. They offered the best solution and was no pressure to get the job done right away. We decided to move forward and let them know and the work was scheduled for 2 days later. It was completed on time and done correctly with photos and detailed information about the work done. We are so glad we called Top Gun Air and spent the money to fix this air flow issue that has been going on for years - just wondering why we waited so long to get this fixed.

These guys are the best. They came to give us a quote and there was no pressure to agree to them doing the work and encourage us to get other estimates. We did choose them to replace our unit. Was having an issue with AC; it was only 100 degrees! Justin came out and got it running but showed huge issues with my older units. While no one wants to spend $$; it was time.
The Installation crew arrived Wednesday at 8:00 as promised. They promptly got to work and got 2 new units installed very quickly. It had to be 125 in that attic! Kudos to the crew on a great job

I was extremely impressed with everyone involved in every aspect of the service. They take pride in honest work, the quality of their work, and leaving a job with satisfied customers.

My inspection and quote were completed by Daniel, who also joined the installation crew of Peter and Saleh. They were all very knowledgeable, professional, respectful, and personable guys who were honestly a joy to have on the job.

I was about 90% set on a getting a new system when scheduling the inspection since my system seemed to be on its last breath the last couple of years.

However I knew I was dealing with a very honest company when Daniel took plenty of time to fully diagnose the issues, explained everything thoroughly, and offered solutions before ever trying to sell me on a new system.

The finished installation of my new system was absolutely top-notch quality work that I'm extremely pleased with. You can't go wrong with using Top Gun for any of your AC needs.

I have then installed new unit to my house in wylie very professional.Kevin and,Saleh, Kaden were know there craft scott sales guy was great gave me the estimate and we were able to get the installed same week and he gave me 2 years of labor warranty.
