I had a late Friday afternoon situation with my Air Conditioning. Cody arrived first thing on Saturday morning (on time!) and had us up and running in no time. Cody was professional , friendly, knowledgeable and I felt like the cost was reasonable for a weekend call!

We have over a 20 year history with Liberty Mechanical and they have always been competent, fair and trustworthy. They are under new ownership comprised of former employees and they have demonstrated the continuing quality service that this company has been known for.

Our furnace wouldn't go on the night before last (of course - it was actually cold). Felix came out within a couple of hours of my calling yesterday morning. He diagnosed the problem as a faulty switch. He drove from Austin to Georgetown to get it that afternoon so he'd have the system running for last night. It works. When he was testing it, he discovered that our new thermostat had also failed. So he replaced it. All better. The service these people offer is just first rate.

Liberty has been servicing our home for a year now. They do regular Maintainance twice a year. Our HVAC controls were not working which resulted in uneven heating of the two floors of our house. They were very prompt to diagnose the issue and complete the repairs in a timely manner.

I cannot say enough good things about the service at Liberty Mechanical. We have hired them for a number of hvac repairs and tune ups to keep our system running flawlessly. In the event of unforeseen challenges, they came out quickly, were authentic with their approach to fixing, transparent on pricing and generate highly competitive quotes for parts & labor without pushing you to buy new systems.

We hired this company to diagnose an issue with our HVAC system. After their evaluation, we were told we needed a new condenser, which cost us $5,200.

Two days after the installation, the system stopped working again.

When they returned, we were told there was now a hole in the coil and that it would be another $5,000 to repair or $16,000 for a completely new system.

At that point, we decided to get additional opinions. Multiple HVAC companies quoted us significantly lower pricing. We learned that the condenser we paid $5,200 for typically costs around $3,000 installed. We ultimately had a brand-new system (the same model we already had) installed by another company for $7,000, less than half of what we were quoted.

When we raised our concerns, the only explanation given was that they “don’t get as good of pricing as other companies.”

Our experience left us feeling like they don’t even try to properly diagnose, they just throw in expensive parts and hope for the best.

We are also feeling duped because we obviously paid well above market rate for the work performed.

We strongly recommend using ANYONE else.
