DNZ were a great partner for us in helping to get our business ready for opening, including landscaping, fencing, and fabricating and installing dumpster gates - pricing was fair compared to other quotes we got, the job was done well and completed in a timely fashion, and any issues that popped up were quickly resolved by Todd and his team.

My yard always looks good. DNZ has always been reasonable. There has never been any issues that couldn't be worked out. Couldn't be happier. things to note... the additional work I want done was great, I felt comfortable knowing the lawn crew wasn't trimming my trees or building my new fence - as professionals are hired to do the job they are trained for.

I planted this Bur Oak for my parent’s 68th wedding anniversary. Fast forward 5 years and we were expanding the lake house and this tree needed to be moved or cut down. Because of the sentimental value of the tree, we decided to have the tree moved and Todd was just the man to do it. He worked diligently for 2 days to get the job done. The tree is in its new location, healthy and now about 35 feet tall. Many thanks to Todd for keeping my parents legacy alive!

Stuff on truck is tied down somethings going to fly out and get someone killed from object flying out the back on the road, the way tools are on truck is high unprofessional. Trailer was bouncing I could see tools bouncing in baskets

Called the phone number on the website. After a short conversation I was asked to send an email with pictures of the site and a brief description of the job. 7 days go by before I get a response. I finally get an email to schedule a site visit for a few days later. Fast forward to the day of the visit. Scheduled time arrives, nobody. An hour past due, still nobody. A complete no-show and not even the courtesy to let me know.

I get that things happen and you can't always make it at the agreed upon time but there is simply no excuse for leaving a customer out to dry like that. I suggest looking elsewhere for your landscaping needs.

I decided to give DNZ a try for my regular yard maintenance. I expected on their first visit the crew supervisor would walk the property with me to understand how I wanted things done. You know, the standard process when you have a new client.

On the day the crew arrived I was meeting with a contractor inside the house when I heard the mowers start. By the time I got outside just a minute or two later they'd already cut down half of my liriope border along the sidewalk. I shouted over the mower and weed whacker for them to stop. I told the crew supervisor to hold off on doing anything besides cutting the grass until I could wrap up with the contractor. 20 minutes later I go outside to find they've continued to hack at my liriope border, have completely cut down my Asian jasmine ground cover in one bed and scalped the yard in dozens of places. On top of that, the crew left cuttings, leaves and other detritus all over my porch and sidewalk after they'd finished.

I called the main office and received voice mail. The following morning, the owner, Todd, called and said he was on his way to see what had happened. As he viewed the damage his crew did he just kept saying "well, this is what some of our clients want."
Well, that's not an excuse. No one asked me what I want and for a "landscape" company to come through and chop down dozens of plants without explicit direction to do so is inexcusable.
I'm still waiting for DNZ to replace my plants, but so far Todd has only offered to feed the plants he cut down in hopes they will grow back. And he wants me to put metal edging around my ground cover -- ground cover that is in a bed with cut-stone edging.
Do yourself a favor and find another company to do your yard work.
