Kevin arrived as scheduled and did a great job quickly identifying the electrical problem and fixing it.

We were in an emergency situation, we called around and finally called Texas Star Services at 5:30 on a Friday night. Kevin said he was on a job, but could be there around 7 pm. Right at 7 pm he showed up. Kevin checked a few things, then went straight to our garage panel, after a quick test he told us to call Oncor immediately. We didn't have an electrically problem in the home but somewhere with the wires underground. HE WAS RIGHT, at 4:30 am we had full power again. Most electricians would have raked us over the coals for a call out a 7 pm, but Kevin charged us a minimal trip fee and left. Thanks, Kevin we will be calling you again.

Kevin Nguyen brought so much more than licensed electrical competence. He solved a challenging issue in our kitchen that required an array of skills, that clearly came from him having had a career as a home builder. We had a malfunctioning microwave in an enclosure with custom trim. The replacement we purchased was not designed to be a replacement. He constructed and improvised a fantastic solution. It fits and looks perfect!

He clearly has a hard work ethic, and he will be my electrician until he decides to hang it up.

Called Kevin at 6pm on Friday night after I messed up putting in a switch. He was promptly at my house Satuday morning. He reviewed my mistake. Found the problem and educated me on how to do the work myself in the future. Kevin is AWESOME! Figured out my problem and fixed it quickly. He is now my go to guy!

Kevin is an excellent electrician. He explained the issue and fixed them. He educated on the reasons behind our electrical issues in a understanding way. He also gave advice on future house projects. We plan to use him again for more electrician work. Excellent !!

I had an HVAC company out to look for a problem with my Air Conditioner. They not only misdiagnosed the problem but they tried to sell me on a lot of other things I didn't need for thousands of dollars.
I called Kevin at Texas Star Services, and he came that very afternoon, quickly diagnosed the problem with was just a shorted wire. A couple of wire nuts, later, my system ran as good as new. Don't get scammed by the fancy guys that advertise on the radio!

Kevin came on Saturday morning, as I could not be home during his regular hours. He was friendly, cheerful, and efficient. He did everything I needed and proposed several things to save me money. I will definitely use Kevin for all my electrical work.

Kevin was awesome! He was very professional and competitively priced. He took the time to discuss the full plans with me on my new spa install and went above and beyond with his care for my property and families safety. Would recommend using Kevin for any of your electrical needs.

Kevin is my go-to electrician for any work I need done on my house. I've had him rewire light tube fixtures to use LED, install an EV charging station in my garage, and set up a light switch and new lighting for my loft. He does good work every time and is very professional, and he will tell me beforehand if it looks like it might be more expensive than expected and suggest a cheaper alternative. I highly recommend Kevin for any work you want to get done!

Kevin is AMAZING. The AC unit went out on my house during the hottest week of June. We called Kevin one morning and he came out inspected it the same day. He told us what was wrong, gave us an estimate and the very next day he had the parts and equipment and repaired the AC unit. No fuss no muss. Price was very fair. He's very pleasant to talk with as well. He's a very diligent worker and I highly recommend him to do any of your AC and/or electrical work.
We will be calling him back to do some electrical work in the house later this year.

I'm updating my review from four years ago. I've continued to use Texas Star Services over the years and have always been satisfied with the quality of their work. I recently had AC unit #2 fail. The unit was over 16 years old. Since I've been using Texas Star Services for several years, I gave them a call. They promptly arrived on time and checked out my AC unit. Their recommendation was to replace the unit. They provided a reasonable estimate. A few days later Kevin, Texas Star Services owner, and his assistant showed up at my home with a new AC unit and commenced installation. Needless to say I'm very happy with the excellent work performed by the Texas Star Services team. They completed the work on time. I trust Texas Star Services to maintain my AC units because they are knowledgeable, dependable, meticulous, honest and reasonable price their material and labor. I highly recommend Texas Star Services. I would recommend Texas Star Services to a friend.

Texas Star Services performed an excellent job in resolving my AC problems. Two of my three units stopped working in my home. I called Texas Star Services Kevin, the TSS technician, didn't just start replacing parts. He methodically performed a part by part trouble shooting process to identify where the problem existed. I have a cool home again. I highly recommend Texas Star Services They are knowledgeable, honest and charge a fair price. I would recommend Texas Star Services to a friend.
