Horton Door Electrical Service
Reliable, efficient, and always delivers quality electrical solutions! -
The work performed was an all-day job from installing ground wire at 50 ft from the home, upgrading the panel, and installing new outlets, a light fixture, and a subpanel. The guys worked in the cold to complete the job. Thank you for a well-done job.

After several days struggling with other companies to get a couple of issues resolved I finally found Horton Electrical Service. Not only did they come out the same day, but they went above and beyond to ensure the job was done correctly. Save yourself some time and just call Horton Electrical Service.

Frank was quick to call me back, unlike some other companies. He fit me in on the same day as the call and fixed my issues for my tenant with the kitchen outlets. He was nice and easy to work with. I would recommend Horton Electrical Service to others in need of electrical work. Thank you.

Can't say enough about how happy I was to find Horton Electrical Service. Tom was in regular communication with me making sure all was going well. He was fantastic. The expert was on time and finished the work in a timely manner. He was very knowledgeable about the work being done. The quote they provided me was what I paid, even though he had to go buy some items from CT (that never happens). I've already recommended them to my mom and friend.

I called the Horton Electrical Service when I had an emergency no power situation at my home. After Helen tried assisting me over the phone she sent Tom out within the hour and he had sorted the whole thing out for me right after. I highly recommend their services! Tom was on time, conducted professional and quality work and tidied up after himself once everything was completed. He was a pleasure to work with.

The work itself was completed with precision and attention to detail. They made sure everything was done safely, tested all the connections before leaving and even cleaned up the work area afterward—which I really appreciated. What stood out the most to me was their honesty and transparency. There were no hidden charges or unnecessary add-ons, just straightforward, quality service.

The company did not show up for a paid Home Inspection.
Can’t speak for their services but would rather not miss work and risk this company not showing up. -
SCAM COMPANY, Multiple phone numbers and company names. Offered free estimates then charged at arrival $165 for ten minute visual assessment I NEVER WRITE REVIEWS! Don’t be victim

Horrible service and communication. I scheduled an appointment on behalf of my clients who are purchasing a home in Sugar Land. We were told the service fee was $99 OR they could opt to pay $149 for the year which would waive the $99 service fee and give them a 10% discount on future jobs. We scheduled an electrician to come out to review an inspection report and provide us with a proposal for the work that would be needed. The electrician, Dominic, was very nice, showed up on time and offered to test outlets that showed they were not operating on the inspection report. The ONLY thing he did was review an inspection report, the electrical box and reset a GFCI. Not the most articulate with technical terms unfortunately. We get a call following the appointment to collect not only the $99 but also $295.00 for having stuck 2 prongs in a few outlets to test them. NO REPAIRS WERE MADE, NO BREAKERS WERE CHANGED, NO MATERIALS WERE USED. PRICE GAUGING AT IT'S FINEST. They also called me to collect these fees and the gentleman, Jake informed me that the company records all calls. Unfortunately, they do not disclose this on the original phone call when you book your appointment nor do they provide copies of recordings which I would loved to have a copy of. It would confirm my initial conversation with the woman that answered the phone. I went in to great length to confirm fees/charges for the appointment. A $99 service fee to come out, review items on an inspection report and reset a GFCI, great no problem. $295 on top of a $99 service fee charge with no indication that a diagnostic fee would be charged is ROBBERY. I am posting this for every other consumer and any real estate professional that may call into this company on behalf of their clients.
