Vernon at Richardson Ready Electric was referred to me by my longtime HVAC service provider (who I trust implicitly). Happy to report RRE appears to be cut from the same cloth: Vernon tried to help me diagnose a breaker box issue over the phone then came out the next day to inspect and provide an estimate. He ran some tests and narrowed it down to a breaker circuit replacement– then showed me how simple it was to replace it. Vernon game me two options: he could replace it at a cost of $100 (or) I could run to Home Depot and do it myself for $10.99. When I offered to pay a trip charge he refused it, saying “This was an estimate and we don’t charge for estimates”. Needless to say, he could have easily quoted the $100 and I would never have questioned it– or known how simple it was to DIY. Vernon and his company are my go-to electricians for life now. The electrician I hired to replace a ceiling fan showed up on time, which was nice because I’ve had issues with that in the past with other electricians but these guys were great and very easy to work with. I now have their number on speed dial and will hire them again.

Great, dependable electricians. We recently had them install new gym lights in our school building. James was very patient in helping us determine the correct replacement items. We were given several options, questions answered, and given the time for the board to review and make the best decision.

They have also completed other small projects around our church and school. They always show up when they say they will, do good work, and clean up after they are done.
