My older Goodman AC unit had been blowing warm and previous companies tried and failed to maintain in. Found JLS on the app and sent a message, the owner returned my message, explained the fees and scheduled a visit. JLS inspected the unit and checked for leaks. They provided video and photo evidence of the condition of my unit and gave several options to repair or replace.

I explained what I was looking for long term and JLS recommended a new unit that fit my needs and budget. The owner went to the warehouse and reported back that they had a total unit available in my budget and we agreed on a plan to replace everything. They started work the same afternoon and were mostly complete by the same evening. We went with a unit with a inverter and they even installed a shutoff that was missing outside. The new unit is perfect for my space, almost silent and was installed quickly and professionally by their team. They ran the necessary test and set up the smart thermostat and even registered my unit with the manufacture.

I would without hesitation recommend the professionals at JLS Heating and Air. They take pride in their work, respect your time, budget and property and the install was quick and flawless.

I'm so thankful we were referred to JLS Heating and Air. They're a best kept secret for DFW! Not only did we receive a quality unit at an affordable price we received quality work. Every time we reached out with a question we received a prompt thorough response or a personal call from the owner, Joe. After our decision on a new AC and Furnace he was able to schedule service the next day. The day of service 3 skilled, friendly family members arrived. They were punctual, diligent and very informative on the process. We were nervous that a Friday install would result in a rushed service. It was the complete opposite, they stayed until after typical business hours to ensure quality accurate work. I like to use referrals when selecting skilled trades and really like to support family owned and operated businesses. That is what you get with JLS Heating and Air, a 3rd generation family business.

A side note, we are far N. Dallas, so if you're concerned about your location chances are you're in their service area.

Update June 2021- we again had a great experience with Joe and Pete. We had an odd scenario of our outside unit not turning on. They promptly visited our property to check the system. As it turned out, our electricity to our house was the issue and addressed by Oncor later that date. If you are needing a quality system and quality people, I still recommend JLS Heating and Air.

The guys from JLS helped back in August when my AC quit on a Saturday and had my unit installed on Monday (it would've been Sunday but the distributor was closed by the time I had them come out and give me a quote).

The entire team was friendly and happy, with being in an attic, in August, in Texas should tell you that they enjoy what they do.
