I have used Gills plumbing several times since moving into my house 7 years ago. I am never disappointed with them. I am always so pleased with their outstanding service. John and Nick are true professionals. They diagnose the problem, and provide the solution at reasonable prices. Never an up sell with this company. They are as honest as the day is long. Gills Plumbing Service is my go to company for all my plumbing needs.

This guy is legit. He came out for an estimate on a pressure regulator valve and water softener the day I called, explained everything in plain terms, didn't try to up or oversell anything, and came in with the best price.

His work was fast and professional, and walked us through everything when all was done. Would definitely contact John first for future work, and will certainly recommend him to anyone who asks.

I have had several service calls by many local plumbing companies throughout the years. Most were average, one or two were sub standard. This is the first and only company that stood out from the rest. From their attention to details, to their impeccable repair of a water leak that was behind my wall. They were fast, prompt and efficient. Did I mention , that I called them at 4:30 pm ? Any other company would have scheduled me for the following day given the time. They came with in 30 minutes and saved the day!!!
They have gained a loyal customer!!

Nick checked out my plumbing problem and told me what needed to be done and then gave me the cost. He kept me informed about each step of the service. He and his apprentice were professional, knowledgeable and fixed the plumbing problem. I will call Gill Plumbing again when I have plumbing problems.

Gill Plumbing installed a new water softener a couple of years ago. What really drew me to Gill was their competitive pricing. I had got quotes from other plumbing companies but they were trying to sell the Cadillac of water softeners. Gill provided me a quote just for what I'd need and it was well priced. They came out and installed quickly.

I was having issues with my downstairs toilet. Nick came out, had called ahead of time to give me an estimated time he'd arrive, and was quick to diagnose the issue. He gave me credible options to repair it. He was pleasant and worked quickly.

I just wanted to recommend Gill Plumbing for any plumbing issues. We had a leak in the front slab of our house, they found it very fast, fixed it and were able to reroute the leak without going through my kitchen or the floor. Nick did the majority of the work with his assistant, and did an amazing job. They were all very professional, fast, and friendly. They kept us informed on each step they were doing and finished it in two days. John also helped us find a brick mason to replace the brick in front of the house where the repair was made. This is a wonderful, very professional company, and I highly recommend it.

We had a gas leak in our fireplace. CPS had to turn off our gas and we were able to get John from Gill Plumbing Services out rather quickly to fix our issue. We would definitely recommend Gill Plumbing Services to our neighbors. They were quick, respectful, and did a great job.

We called Gill Plumbing to have our water heater and water softener serviced. The units were almost 7 yo and had never been serviced. The two young men that came were knowledgeable and professional. They took the time to explain why and wha parts needed to be replaced. They did not attempt to oversell items that were not needed. They were polite, respectful and a pleasure to have at our home. By far the best experience I’ve had with a plumber. We reached out to inquire about getting an estimate for installing a pressure reducer valve. Within 3 days, Mr. Gill was at our property looking everything over and providing us with a comprehensive estimate that was fairly priced compared with a couple other estimates we received from other companies. We scheduled the installation within a couple days. They arrived on time, completed the installation, made sure our entire system was fit to work with the new valve. Then they educated us on how to take care of our new set up ourselves.

We needed our water heater replaced, and Gill Plumbing Services went above and beyond! John and Nick were fantastic – they both are very knowledgeable, professional and kind. Nick was able to replace our water heater the very next day with great professionalism and attention to detail. Their customer service was exceptional, and they made the whole process stress-free. John and the team at Gill Plumbing Services did a great job with a quick and thorough same-day installation of a new water heater system and water softener system. Even though I was at work, John did a great job explaining what needed to be done, answered all questions I had, went over all pricing and installation options, and installed and tested everything all within the same day in a matter of hours. Small company, with great service. Called John(owner)when a toilet stopped working. He was able to fit me in to his schedule later that afternoon. He explained the problem, what he had to do, and gave me a quote. Had it fixed and working great in under 30 minutes. Very professional. I called yesterday, they were out today. On the call, Mr. Gill took over half an hour trouble shooting with me and explaining things to me. Then today, Nick came out and took the time, thoughtfully approached the issue, and stayed until the job was done. Reasonable prices, excellent customer service, great communication, I don’t think there is another option for plumbing, these guys are my top pick. I will definitely use them again and again!

Always honest and professional. They've been our plumber since moving to San Antonio in 2015. Just installed our water softener and walked us through maintaining the system. He has serviced our water heaters, replaced one, and fixed a busted water line leading to the main line. I wouldn't trust anyone else.

Both Nick and his assistant, Gabriel, were very courteous and knowledgeable. They were prompt, arriving at the appointed time. Nick assessed the problem quickly and fixed it. When they completed the original issue, he listened to my concerns of other issues in my home, and ended up fixing a shower fixture that had been installed incorrectly. Gill Plumbing Services is now my go to company for all things plumbing.

As always John did a very professional job! I was able to do one stop shopping . He had the water heater and all the parts needed to do the job up to code. John is always very punctual, he cleaned everything after complete the job. He explained how to use the new water heater and set expectations for future maintenance in order to keep the unit running for many years to come. He also replaced the pressure valve and added a lever to close the water in that way I will get a rebate from SAWS. John’s prices are adequate for the kind of product he delivers. If you want a cheap job and cheap workmanship look somewhere else.

I had a shower faucet leak and called early in the morning and Gill Plumbing answered quickly and ensured that they would be at my home that day. My water heater sprang a leak so I called Gill Pluming. I had used their services before and was very satisfied with their work. Technicians arrived and replaced a part on the water heater that was leaking. Service was fast, successful, and the techs offered a detailed explanation of what they were doing to fix the problem.
