I needed my trees trimmed when my insurance dropped me because my trees were overhanging too close to my roof. Scott came out the next day, walking the grounds with me, Well, answering every question, and provided a quote the same day. next day. Scott and his crew were excellent in every way. We had a lot of questions about a lot of additional trees, and Scott was able to answer every question. The crew went above and beyond what I had expected. The trees look great, the grounds were clean when they left and the price was very reasonable. I highly recommend them if you need any tree trimming done on your property.

This company did an amazing job from start to finish. Getting a quote was a smooth process and we were given a ton of usual information and options and they worked with us to provide good options on a budget. The team, Hugo, Alonso, and Ronnie were incredible. They did everything with a great attitude and we are very happy with the work they completed. For any future work, mission city will be getting the call.

2025 Update - Just used this company again. Maurizio, Ronny, Edgar, Lorenzo, and Carlos were outstanding. They made sure they did all we asked, checked in regularly to ensure I was happy with the various trim heights, and were very fast!

Mission City Arbor Group is my go to tree service company. I have used them numerous times with excellent results. The last service was completed on Friday, July 25. Thanks to Alberto, Lorenzo, and Fernando for their precision tree trimming skills and clean up afterwards.

After reading multiple reviews on different websites, we settled on Mission City Arbor Group. Scott and team (including Dave) on the office, were fantastic. Scott came out on a Saturday afternoon and was patient and answered all my questions and gave great advice. No heavy pressure sales talk and a very fair price for the service. The crew was out two days later, and did an awesome job, including clean up. This is our first year in this house, and no other company will be touching our trees in the future! Cheers!!

Dave came out right away and gave us a very reasonable quote. Crews started on the palm tree removal a few days later. They were quick and cleaned up after themselves. Super happy with the results.

I had a dead 75 foot pecan tree that I needed cut down. I wanted to do it myself, but it was tricky because of its height and the power lines that ran beneath it.

Mission City Arbor gave me a quote for removing the tree with a boom lift, including stump grinding and hauling all the waste away that was below competing bids which only included cutting down the tree without stump grinding or removal.

The crew was fast, professional, courteous, and did an excellent job, going above and beyond what I was expecting. They even gave me recommendations for new tree species when it comes time to replant.

Mission City Arbor Group is our first choice for tree service. Their latest work for us was planting a crape myrtle in a spot where we had removed a dead tree. This is the second time I’ve bought a tree from Mission City Arbor Group and had them plant it for me. They know what they’re doing, and they love trees as much as I do. They arrived on time, agreed on the placement of the new tree based on the layout of our yard and our plumbing pipes, and got the 30-gallon oak in place with mulch and a liquid fertilizer right away. They also staked it. I also received emailed instructions on caring for it.

We have a 150-200 yr old live oak that needed some TLC with advice from a professional. Scott was exactly what we asked for and received great information and recommendations.

I have used Mission City Arborists on 2 occasions while I can’t really afford it.
They are professional, timely, if you want to learn more they will explain while working. You know what to expect and they actually are an honorable company which is dead these days. It is easy to schedule, teach etc. Quality, dependability, friendly no lying to your face I love them!

I had a very large, (40 foot) beautiful cedar elm tree next to my house. I noticed large cracks appearing across the trunk and what looked like rot. Turns out bore beetles had gotten into the tree and were destoying it. I was concerned the tree would fall on my house so I called around to get evaluations. I found Scott with Mission City Arbor Group by searching the San Antonio Arborist Association. I had a total of 7 companies evaluate and propose, sadly, removing the tree. Scott is very knowledgeable and I immediately felt comfortable working with him. His proposal was reasonable, and his crew was nice and efficient. They were able to safely remove the tree, provided firewood as requested, and kept a section of the trunk intact so I can woodwork several items from it. I was heartbroken to see it go, but grateful for a safe removal and peace of mind not having to worry about it falling on my house.
