I recently purchased a townhome, and the inspection report noted some problems with the electric panel. I called around for a few quotes, and while some others just quote a price, Veteran Electric responded with a detailed breakdown of the work they would do. They showed up on time, took time to explain to me in person what they were doing, and fixed additional things not noted in the report. They were meticulous with their work, and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again!

We are blessed that we found Veteran Electric to install a Generac backup generator 18Kw for our two-story house in The Woodlands TX. This rating was recommended after evaluation and calculation that Vince did for us. Fast and fair quote came through email. We booked a day but we didn't know that we needed a transfer switch for the gas generator we bought. The electrician bought it for us and installed all together in a couple of days. If I had to use one word to define the company. It would be professional. Thank you greatly for your service. When we have an electrical problem you the first company we will call.

So glad we found Veteran Electric - Baron was awesome!! He was very knowledgeable, respectful of our home and COVID-19 precautions, and incredibly efficient. They are very upfront about costs and provide a quote in writing before any work is started. We have requested Baron to come back to help us with additional work, and we will continue to ask for him any time we need installation or repairs.

This company I found on Yelp and chose them because Veteran was in the name. They were prompt in scheduling my appointment. And they dispatched the best electrician in Houston / Spring / Porter area hands down. Marcus H. was extremely professional, knowledgeable and determined to figure out what my electrical problem was. Not only did he figure it out, he made the necessary adjustments, diagnostic troubleshooting, and just like that we have power again!!! I am super pleased with this company and their technicians. I will recommend them to everyone I know!

Had him come add decorative lighting over my kitchen island and add two can lights. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Showed up on time and prepared. What we were thinking of doing we liked, he suggested a few little changes. He was absolutely correct with what he suggested. My wife was very happy and impressed. Vince and Will did the job super fast, cleaned up like nothing happened. I will only use Veteran electric from here forward. I will recommend him to anyone looking for an electrician. Big job or small they handle it to perfection. Glad I look for veteran owned companies.
UPDATE 6/15/2020. Have used Veteran Electric before and I will never use anyone else for anything electrical related. From scheduling with Ashley at the office to dealing with thier master electricians everything is so easy. They answer all your questions, do what was asked to perfection and then clean up like it never happened. Jonathan called and told us the exact time he would be at our home. He placed a transfer switch on our home so we can run the house on a generator during a power outage. Walked us through it several times and answered all our questions and concerns. Veteran electric did an amazing job as always. You will not find a better electrical company.

Vince and his entire crew were amazing to work with. We had several issues that needed addressing, many that other electricians wouldn't touch. They were able to troubleshoot the problem (relocating our main electrical panel and meter) and then wired our new addition. They were extremely professional and timely and we can't wait to work with them in the future!

I wanted to replace our breaker panel and install a whole-home surge protector in our Kingwood home. I received references for (and quotes from) seven electrical contractors through Angie's List and another similar site (don't recall which). Vince was by far the most professional, most transparent, and most candid of all the contractors, and his bid, though not the lowest, was still very competitive, so I awarded the job to Veteran. The work he performed validated my decision. His work was top-notch and his explanation of what he was doing (and why) was as transparent as our interactions during the bidding process. Just a great experience from start to finish. I will definitely be relying on Vince and Veteran Electric for future electrical jobs around the house, small and large. Thank you, Vince!

Veteran Electric did some basic wiring and installation of a patio ceiling fan. The service tech, Marcus, was excellent. Courteous, hardworking, and professional. The office communications and customer service was also topnotch. Fair prices for the work done too! I highly recommend Veteran Electric and Marcus!

Vince was our electrician. Professional and quick, he did an amazing job. I've recommended him to some friends already and will do it again. I will call them again with any issues I have, highly recommend you do the same.

Marcus is the BEST! He was extremely knowledgeable, patient and professional. We had 6 different electricians come by to give us quotes and we knew we wanted him to do it from the first 5 minutes. He did the job he was paid to do and we even mentioned a project we wanted to do and he took his time to explain everything, products we would need to buy, down to the price of the material. I know more about electricity and safely improving my home because of meeting Marcus. I HIGHLY suggest Marcus from Veteran Electric because he’s so nice, courteous and smart.

This firm has mastered what so many competitors have not. They come when they say they are going to come. They communicate. And they use a good deal of skill in diagnosing and fixing electrical problems. Not the cheapest but also not the most expensive. Deserves its high rating.

I would strongly recommend Veteran Electric for electric works. They are excellent in their service and quality of work. They updated me continuously on the status of my appointment and reminded me two days before the appointment.

Marcus (Electrician) has done a fantastic job. He came on time and completed the work to the utmost satisfaction. Most importantly, he educated us on the alternatives and gave us the best option. The quality of job is excellent. I am going to recommend Veteran Electric to my friends circle.

Simply put: EXCEPTIONAL. Would I call again? YES.

Vince was prompt, courteous and explained everything he was doing. Basically, husband decided to change out old outlet plugs for new ones. Came across one that had so many wires and we decided to mimic the setup but it did not work. In fact, it knocked out the power to one whole side of my living room and kitchen. Had to move my appliances for a bit and sit in the dark while watching tv. Finally decided to call a professional and the Electrician gods sent us Vince from Veteran Electric.

Vince saved us--he came in and assessed the issue, checked each non-working outlet one by one and after fixing the main one that led to knocking out the others, he went to task to rewiring them correctly and got the job done. We asked him several questions and he was knowledgeable and straightforward. We also asked for a quote with a potential future job and he was able to discuss and provide an estimate.

These guys were great. We suspected we were having some issues with our electrical in our house, and when we called them they were quick to explain what would happen and how it would work when they set up the appointment. The day of our appointment, the electrician called ahead, arrived on time, and quickly discovered the issue. The rate to fix it was reasonable and he was friendly and answered all our questions. Great experience and would highly recommend them.

Doc” and his partner showed up and completed the electrical switch for our generator as quoted! They were proficient and clean! The price was reasonable and we appreciated how quickly we got the service work completed after the initial quote! We will use them for all our electrical needs!!

I had Veteran Electric come out and give me an estimate for work and the estimate was free which is already a plus in my book. They sent out Baron Harper and he was personable, knowledgeable and quickly got me the estimate. I was happy with the estimate and scheduled an appointment.
Baron also came out to do the installation and brought an apprentice. Again, they kept me appraised of when they would arrive with calls to me (2 hour window is given) were personable and quickly set to work. The only problem they had was me and my car not allowing them access to the attic as the car would not start for me to move it for them :(.
I have already gotten another estimate for a different job and when ready will definitely go with this business for the work.

Just had a great experience with these guys after a very stressful day due to someone else not doing the job right.

Generic "handyman" (NOT THIS COMPANY) replaced a breaker earlier due to a range constantly tripping it, the tripping got worse after. Long story short, wrong amp rating, trying to feed my mom (who was physically there to oversee the repair) some nonsense , conflicting stories about what amp rating was there originally, "handyman" eventually pulled out the breaker entirely and left. At this point, I don't know what he did, I'm not entirely sure that he didn't accidentally or intentionally leave hanging wires in the panel that might short across bus bars, and I'm not certain what breaker was even originally there, can't be there myself physically to check. So... at this point a simple breaker replacement has turned into an emergency.

After asking around some friends, they mention Veteran Electric. Call Veteran Electric... they answer the phone right away, and yes they do emergency service. Vince comes same day at 7 in the evening, arrives early (is very professional about having to wait until the appointment time due to a missed text). Checks wire gauge on the circuit, installs the right breaker, and leaves. No BS, very reasonable pricing for emergency service, overall quick and painless, no trying to tack extra things on to the bill or extort money. Thank you for the great service!

Veteran Electric and Vince delivered services on time, at a great cost, quickly with fantastic customer service. They gave me a free quote which is rare for electricians and most importantly are honest guys. Several things I had asked them about adding to my home they suggested not to bother with since it would be a waste of money. Exceptional overall experience! Will definitely use them again and continue to recommend to friends and family

All around a great company and service!

We called 3 different companies before them. 2 didn't answer. 1 the gentleman was very blunt.

The receptionist at Veteran Electric was happy, outgoing and took the time to answer all our questions.

Vince came out and did the job in under 15 minutes without any disruption to our office. And was very polite and knowledgeable.
Plus he had everything he needed right there In his truck.

HIGHLY advise hiring these great folks.
