I remain impressed with the responsiveness of this company. Technician is friendly, and thorough. I feel quite confident they're honest and while I don't price shop around, i find what they charge to be reasonable and fair.

I'm a landlord and my tenant had texted that the AC wasn't working. I called Air Of Houston on Sunday and they could have come out on that day, but the cost was higher than if they came on Monday, so I chose Monday. They came to the property and called to inform me about the leak and the expense for fixing, but my unit is a 2009 and that I have gotten my use out of it, so I decided for a whole new unit. He put the coolant in for my tenants until the very next day they installed the new unit. They were very efficient and my tenants were happy to have the cold air. I don't have pictures because I'm stuck at home with a boot on right foot and knee scooter.

I’ve been a customer for years. They show up, let me know what to expect in coming years and give me thumbs up of approval. They’re great. Don’t try to upsell all the time which I appreciate. Very down to earth.

Updating my review to add on. Customer for years but this year one of my AC units broke. David replaced both units and the water heater all at once. A few months later something happened to one of the wires in my unit and it wasn’t working. David sent the repair team out same day and repaired the unit that wasn’t working - and charged nothing! Excellent customer service.

Air of Houston did a great job installing a new 4 ton high efficiency American Standard (Platinum Series) A/C system to replace the 17 yr. old one that was Freon R-22 and the compressor motor had failed (ie. Home builder had originally installed).

The installation team (3 people) showed up at the appointed time. They removed the entire old A/C (inside and outside), quickly and cleanly. Each person had clearly defined roles and worked effectively and efficiently as a team. They put out temporary carpeting to keep the home (carpet/tile/stairs) clean and protected.

They installed the new compressor/coils on the outside concrete pad, hooked up copper tubing, vacuumed it, and hooked up the electrical service to it. In the attic, they installed all the condenser coils, circulation fans, the air suction/filter system, cool air dispersion system hooked up to existing air conduit/natural gas supply/electrical system/condensed water drain system. They used a lot of care and double checked the work. They installed a new controller downstairs, tied it into the WiFi system and made sure it worked on our iPhone/iPad App. The total time was approximately 4 hours. The new A/C works great, cools well, and can be controlled from the local controller in the room or APP. With the variable speed high efficiency A/C, our electric bill will be lower…..yeah! We know this from a similar American Standard unit we installed several years ago using the same Air of Houston A/C installation company. We are a repeat customer.

I am a long-time customer of Air of Houston. The reason is simple...they consistently do excellent work for a fair price. This time, the AC suddenly stopped working. It was Friday. Who shows up after 7:00 pm? David, the owner. His people were so busy that he got in a truck and came out to help, instead of me waiting another day without AC. The problem was a blown capacitor. Initially, that seemed strange to me, because the capacitor was only a month old. However, my pool pump also had a blown capacitor at the exact same time. David explained that it was probably a power surge that got both capacitors. That made total sense, because of power problems in my area from Hurricane Beryl. The failed capacitor was under warranty, so the part was replaced no charge. But, David refused to accept payment for the service call/labor, even though I offered. In summary, the owner comes to my house late on a Friday and fixes my AC for free, when he could have been home eating dinner and sending a technician to my house the next day. That is why I am a long-time customer.

David and his Air of Houston team were professional, honest, knowledgeable, and prompt from start to finish (LESS THAN ONE WEEK, after hurricane Beryl, from calling to schedule a consultation to complete installation) for my Generac generator install.
At the consultation, David did a detailed walkthrough of the installation, maintenance requirements, pricing, and then answered all of my many questions thoroughly. He was quick to suggest testing the viability of using an existing capped off gas line—an option that saved me a lot of money. His plumber who preformed the gas line test and electrician who completed the installation followed suit with being professional and prompt.
The communication from the Air of Houston office was stellar—they followed through with call backs, accommodated a schedule change, and kept me apprised of the timeline for the week.

Air of Houston has been taking care of our airconditioning and heating system for years now. We have a contract with them for the maintenance and don't have anything negative to say about them. David and his team take care of everything, are always polite and courteous. We're so happy we picked Air of Houston to install our system years ago and keep it running without any issues. We just had Pete check our units and all is working great.

When we first purchased our air conditioning unit through Air of Houston a few years ago, we were unsure what we were up against. They walked us through the process from beginning to end and we never looked back. We are extremely satisfied with the unit and the service that Air of Houston continues to provide year over year. Their service technicians are friendly and extremely knowledgeable about their product and the services. Each year we continue to call them back for our summer and winter checks to make sure our system is functioning properly and efficiently. They continue to provide the same professional services as they did when they initially installed our unit! Highly recommend this company!!!

David and team have replaced all three of our HVAC systems with new, high efficiency American Standard units over the last few years. The install crew was very professional and respectful of our house, making sure they cleaned up everywhere they had to go before they left. Highly recommend Air of Houston if you need an upgrade for your old system.

It’s about to be July 1 in Texas, extreme heat, extreme humidity. We had an extreme air conditioning emergency. We called….. I explained the situation. The owner himself came out to the house immediately I’m talking with the hour to diagnose and fix our problem. I couldn’t have asked for better more efficient, more professional service than I just received! This is the second time I’ve used this company and I will never call a different AC company. I've had two experiences with Air of Houston. I gained David's contact via referral last year. They came out when my system stopped working the next day, to recharge. This year, the outdoor unit finally gave up. David and his team helped me out within two days with the inspection, and ultimately accommodated a full system replacement the next day over the weekend.

I cannot express the appreciation for short notice support and the quality of installation by his guys.

I've been using Air of Houston for over 10 years and am very satisfied. Their prices are competitive and their services are outstanding. I have bought 2 units from them and subscribe to their maintenance plans. When we had a hard freeze a few years ago, a pipe burst in the garage, and they came out right away to repair it. When we've had a problem with the A/C during a heat wave, they cane right out to fix it. That type of commitment and responsiveness is hard to come by these days. If I could give them 10 stars. I would.

Dave came out to offer a second opinion because another a/c company said I needed a new coil which would be over $5,000. Dave was thorough and honest. He checked my system and told me it was working fine. It’s refreshing to find a company with integrity that you can trust. Air of Houston is my new heating and air company. Thanks Dave!

We have been happily using the services from Air of Houston (AoH) for some years. So, when it came time to replace the whole of our downstairs central home AC system AoH was of course the first company we turned to. But a whole AC system isn’t cheap – so we also reached out to other companies to test the market and compare.
AoH reviewed our requirements, carefully laid out the options for us, and as expected David then provided us with the best and most competitive proposal of all!
From initial contact with Sandra, to the field crew who did a very nice tidy installation job (not to mention being punctual, professional and hardworking!), through to the final onsite commissioning by David, we couldn’t have asked for better service ….. indeed, just as we’ve come to expect from this family run business.

I called & the lady answering was very helpful and kind, she answered many questions for what she could & scheduled us very quickly for a check up. David & Chris came out to our house to do a check on our AC units for an issue that we were concerned about. Upon their AC inspection they noticed a separate issue with one of our water heaters & told us we really needed to shift our attention to that at this time to avoid a huge mess. I appreciate them checking our AC units & being honest that there was no major issue of concern right now, but to start considering replacing in the near future because of age. We got a quote for a tankless water heater to replace our 2 current water heaters since that was now the main concern. They also gave a rough estimate for what we could expect to replace both AC units. I highly recommend them!
