Great price and excellent service. Houston Equipment Repair didn't try to push things I didn't need and they were fast. Others had months for lead times but they had mine installed the next week. The installers were great, fast and knowledgeable.

Awesome experience dealing with Houston Equipment Repair on installation of whole house generator. Although it took about five months from signing a contract to actual install date due to backlogs caused by Hurricane in July, the installation was completed on date promised despite 19-degree weather. The install crew was promptly at work by 7:00 a.m., completed the project by 11:00 and left all work areas as clean as they found them. Highly recommend them.

We had a great experience with Houston Equipment Repair. They were able to get our generator up and running. It is an older model and we kept having to jump through hoops and it would not work. They spent a couple hours and got it fixed with new spark plugs. Grateful for honest hard work. We will continue using them in the future.

Duromax XP13000EH … Install of NG quick disconnect, Electrical hookup and install of whole house surge protector, conversion of generator to NG, install of soft starts on 2 Compressors and a start up demonstration with Q & A….all in under 4 hours! I think it was quality work and couldn’t be happier. The generator is breaking in right now! Getting good contractors and scheduling properly and lots of communication kept this job under half a day. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent support and service at reasonable prices. We had a portable generator installed, a turnkey installation. Reed did all the electrical and plumbing work. It was very convenient not having to deal with multiple contractors. Great after installation support also! We had an issue with our AC we thought might be related to the generator installation. Turned out it wasn't and Reed fixed the issue at no charge. Strongly recommend!

It does not get better then this. We went to the market to get several quotes from several agents of Generac. Some provided mind-boggling rates totally out of the market. Reed and his team from Houston Equipment Repair provided us a fair market rate (a pretty good rate if you ask me) and they stood by their info on their website. The process to apply online for a quote through their app was quick, user friendly and accurate and we received a detailed quote within 72 hours. Houston Equipment Repair handles all the quotes, deposits, payments, schedules and appointment through their website which was highly efficient. The team came out to poor the concrete slab, a proper nice slab versus a plastic pad that others quoted me. This slab will last a lifetime and looks good and integrated next to the slab of our pool equipment and AC units. 3 weeks later they came to do the install. What a quick turn around by the team of 4. Also Reed himself (The owner) came onsite which is always a clear indication that a company stands behind their product and provides best in class service delivery. The install was done swiftly and very clean. All cabling and setup has been done very nicely around my pool equipment. Reed said all will be done as per code by GENERAC and our local township. Our township sent over an inspector 6 days after the install and we have received the "passed" certificate on this inspection from the township.

All in all a great experience and if this is how Houston Equipment Repair will also do their after care service and warranty support then we have made the right choice for sure.

I recently had an annual Generac Inspection and Tune Up by Houston Equipment Repair. Scheduling was a breeze with a text follow up for the date scheduled, reminder text and communication from the Technician the day of visit. Technician was fabulous and expertly completed this inspection to keep my Generac in good order.

I just signed up with Houston equipment repair company in Tomball Texas to provide my yearly maintenance for 2026.
They were very patient with me as I untangled myself from my previous maintenance provider. I chose Houston equipment repair because they had good ratings and well adjust my valve clarence as needed as part their yearly maintenance.

They required only a $500 deposit, and we were scheduled after a week of signing. The only delay we encountered was due to HOA approvals, which was beyond their control, but their communication was timely, professional, and proactive throughout the entire process.

Service call center was very responsive. They were great at communicating through text as well which is my preferred communication. The service fee was very fair and the service was very thorough. The tech was very well dressed and groomed as well as very professional. The tech took the time to discuss future maintenance needs I need to look out for and also didn’t want to do anything that day that would increase my charges for no reason. I trust this company and they will handle all my future service calls and my future install when my generator needs an upgrade
