I called three other larger plumbing companies to replace a water main, they were thousands more. The local city water person made this recommendation and it’s now a year later with no regrets.

They came out on the day they said they would and analyzed what needed to be done and prepared a fair bid. Then the contacted me and set up a scheduled date. They showed up on the scheduled date and did the exact job we had contracted for. They were wonderful.

Very kind office managers, really working hard to make sure things go smoothly. Have had problematic workers in the past, but I can see that they are trying their best for improvements!

When they show up, they are polite and work quickly. The last two years, I’ve scheduled an appointment with them “we’ll be there between 9 and noon”. Both years they didn’t call to tell me they were behind schedule or that they wouldn’t be coming. They just didn’t show up. Last year I called and rescheduled. This year, I called to reschedule, left a message and no one called me back for a week and a half. I’m looking elsewhere.

I've used J&C testing for several years. Generally their work was fine, but there were some big errors. For example, they fixed one line that a few days later broke open again (apparently the glue had not set properly). Unfortunately, I was out of town when it broke because the repair was done incorrectly and I had a flood in my front yard for several days. Just recently, they skipped an appointment to winterize my sprinklers and told me that they wouldn't be able to help me again until winter was over. I thought they must be joking, but no they weren't. I can't, in good faith, recommend that anyone use their services after my experiences.

Had our backyard sprinklers installed and wasn’t a great experience. We were rescheduled several times, had poor communication and I agree with several of the reviews on here.

no call/no show twice

Supposed to come test backflows at a set appointment. Didn't show up or call to cancel. My employee waiting for over an hour twiddling her thumbs. So long.

Company never answers their phone. We have made appointments for repair and they never show up. Were supposed to be on their list to winterize our sprinklers, but they never came. Don't waste your time with J & C Testing.

Won't finish the job we hired them for because were "too frustrated" with them. !!!!!
Well if we are frustrated with them here's why:
-they didn't check the water pressure before installing a drip system so we can't use it or it will blow apart
-they broke/buried our sprinkler heads and rain gutter pop up
-they put drip system pipe where we didn't want it
-they never put the green lids back on our valve boxes and we almost lost one in a wind storm
-they didn't remove rocks from our property we paid them to remove but left them in our front yard
-they left our sprinkler electrical system unfinished
-whenever I asked them why they didn't do something they said well I didn't know I was supposed to do that until I showed them the estimate and what I paid for, which clearly stated they were supposed to do it.
I had to remind them that we have proof of payment and that their contract has a one year warrantee to get them agree to come and fix everything they screwed up. If I hadn't they were just fine with taking our money and saying "See ya suckers!"
long story short where still going to be out a ton of money and will not have working sprinkler heads in the front and back yard even if they do fix everything they've already touched!!! -
I had an appointment on 30 April between 11 and 2 to have my sprinkler system turned on for spring. The technician did not arrive until after 5. The technician seemed very confident that my sprinkler would be working and asked me to sign a blank invoice and let me know the cost of getting the sprinklers up and running would be 80 dollars plus parts. Since I knew of a leaky filter already, I immediately pointed it out to him. After 5 minutes or so, he had taken the filter off and left letting me know he would return the next day. I have not seen him since and it is now the 4th of May at 5 PM. My grass is dead. My garden is waiting for water. I received no answer twice after calling during business hours. I am extremely disappointed in this company and would never recommend them to anyone. I left a message asking that they return my part so I can have another company come and take care of the job. If anyone knows of a company who can get sprinklers up and running in a short amount of time please let me know.

Do NOT use this company!! I should have believed the negative reviews previously posted. We hired them to reinstall a backflow device that they had removed for us before winter. When Chevy finally showed up, after missing 2 previous appointments without notification, he turned off our sewer without asking where the water turn on was. He was told later in that visit where the water turn on was and he failed to mention he had already turned off another valve. We didn't know he did this until 2 days later when the alarm on the sewer went off. I called him to ask him about it and he said he turned something but didn't know it was the sewer and to not call him again and hung up on me. The repairs cost us over $1600 to fix the damage he caused and the company refuses to pay for it after numerous attempts to collect it from them. We will be turning this over to our Legal Department for collections. I do not normally post negative reviews because I believe we all have moments we could have done better and would rather give the opportunity to fix negative experiences than to blast them on Google....but believe me...find another company!
