We were very appreciative of the service we received by Thurgood Plumbing & HVAC. We had an issue with our AC and called the company that installed it for warranty. They were eight days out and so we checked with this neighboring company and they kindly offered their service the very morning. They sent a text when on their way and were very proficient in finding the problem. It was a simple fix and they were very fair with their compensation. We were impressed and feel others would be too.

I needed to install a pressure regulator coming into my house and called Thurgood Plumbing to take a look. Gusto came and assessed the situation, giving me an estimated cost that was completely reasonable. He talked me through what he was doing, and was very professional and personable. Handiman cut active water pipe. Flooding disaster! Thurgood sent a technician and had it fixed and replumbed and a new washer installed within hours! Saved my life! Good natured and expert help. Reasonable pricing and attentive service.

My name is Mike and I wish to take a moment to address publicly my experience with Thurgood plumbing for a job just completed in my home on 9/4/25 by one of Thurgoods plumbers, Gusto. First let me say that this company is not new to me. I used them alot when I had another home a few years ago. Amazing, thurough, professional service to a whole new level then. Gusto proved this has not changed. He replaced 3 sump pumps and replaced all new piping ro the pumps. But first, he properly inspected the issue and then as a true professional would, he explained in grest detail the issue, the solution, and the cost (incredibly fair in comparison to other bigger name companies) ans he honored my veteran status. Gusto made a new friend yesterday in myself. That kind of service is priceless today among companies that do such work. Anyone out there wondering who to call for such issues I say call THURGOOD PLUMBING & HVAC Services and repair. They are the best in this state and Gusto brings his company honor. He is the man.

They came out same day and took a look at a part of my furnace exhaust flue what was allegedly damaged. The tech was very knowledgeable, timely, professional and friendly. They came out same day, verified my concern, offered additional "could become problem" situations on my 80 year old house and gave a fantastic estimate for if I wanted to replace things. Didn't try to upsell anything, didn't try to scare me into buying anything. Fantastic company and I wish I had found them sooner! Very highly recommend!

I called Thurgood good Plumbing for no other reason than they were local. Was extremely pleased with Darren the plumber they sent out to do the work. He was very polite. Explained everything cleaned up after himself and even waited a half an hour for me to get home once he was finished to explain everything that he had done. I got an exceptionally good price from the company. Would definitely use them again.

I didn’t shop around, so I can’t speak on prices. I called Thurgood Plumbing on my daughter’s recommendation. I was treated very respectfully and got all my questions answered. Our plumber, Gusto, is very knowledgeable and throughly explained everything he was going to do. And when a couple of unforeseen things surfaced, it was completely explained in laymen’s terms. We particularly appreciate any tradesman that is willing and patient enough to take the time to help us understand and potentially prevent future problems. Plumbing Tech Gustas was professional on the phone, and followed through with communications. He was thorough and respectful with his explanations on the phone and in person. He worked in a timely manner respecting my home.

The workman replaced 2 toilets, cleaned up after himself, removed a small commode cabinet that didn't fit around the new model, and removed all of the packaging from the merchandise he installed and all with a smile. I expected to have to reschedule my afternoon plans but he finished within a mere 2 and a half hours.
The cost was very reasonable while showing the value of the product and workmanship.

I recommend this Thurgoog Plumbing & HBAC with a closing catch-phrase...they live the Golden Rule: Treat others as you would have them treat you!
