It's not very often you come across someone who's in love with their craft but J.R. is just that and it's totally apparent in his work! He repaired the loose mortar and replaced a couple stones on my home and then sealed it all beautifully! He also matched the mortar and stones perfectly! In addition, he helped me solve a rain gutter mystery. J.R. is an expert at his craft, goes the extra mile, and is pleasant to be around. Don't hesitate for a second to hire this guy!

A few months ago, we had our chimney cleaned by J.R. Lane. He was prompt and professional. I appreciated him cleaning up after everything was complete. Last night, while using our fire place, we had somewhat of a scare with smoke coming into our home and the chimney not ventilating properly. I called J.R. Lane and he was over within the hour. He was extremely generous; he inspected the fireplace and chimney, found the problem, and promptly resolved the issue. In addition, he was very informative and gave me great tips to avoid future incidents. I highly recommend J.R. Lane and Co. I am so greatly I found them.

John called me back quickly, provided a reasonable bid and scheduled the work within the week. He also texted me photos of the work under way. Easy to work with, left zero mess and did a stellar job repairing my chimney and placing rain caps. Amazing work!

Just can't say enough good things about John and J.R. Lane. He came within hours, cleaned a chimney that hadn't been cleaned in 15 years quickly and thoroughly, alerted me to necessary repairs and made arrangements for those on the spot. I had Jon Lane come clean the chimney to our wood stove that had not been cleaned in 28 years and is used daily in the winter. He was prompt, thorough, left everything in my house spotless, and most importantly left my wood stove and chimney clean and in great condition. He was also able to come the morning after I called - instead of two weeks out - and is the most reasonably priced chimney sweep on the Wasatch Front by far. The bonus is that he is just the nicest guy and it was a pleasure to have him in my home.

Exceptional service. Scheduled quickly with me for an estimate. Reasonable prices (a different company wanted nearly double the price for the same thing). Arrived on schedule both for estimate and work. Inspected both chimneys inside and out. Explained potential problems and solutions clearly. Showed detailed pictures of my chimneys while explaining what the issues were. Offered multiple solutions to my issue and explained each option with no pressure. Update to say we had two chimney caps/chase covers replaced and mortar repointing/repair done.

Had a 9 am appointment that he never bothered to show up to. Called twice with no reply. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Take your hard money elsewhere. I did.
