I Know A Guy is absolutely the best! I recommend them to everyone I know. They just provided a service tuneup for a client of mine and were very accommodating to their schedule. You have to give them a call. Shey was so helpful in getting things arranged and the friendliest person ever to speak to.

Alex was again awesome, and his assessment on my cooling system was very helpful for future plans. It's working great for now, but with how it being 20 years old, he did give me estimates for future replacement when it will be needed.

We had a leak in our A/C and were low on refrigerant. The first company we contacted estimated $600-900 to refill the refrigerant with a dye & sealant, but stated they would not be able to locate the leak until about 6 month later once they could see the dye. They estimated repairs at that point could range from $200-1,200 once they determine the source of the leak.

We reached out to Brandon for a second opinion. He was able to walk us through a few things to check while on the phone. We set up an appt with him knowing we partially knew the issue. When he came and assessed our A/C, he was able to estimate about how much refrigerant was needed and estimated costs significantly below our first quote. In addition, he may have even figured out the leak as he could audibly here it from one of the valves (I can't believe the first guys didn't catch it!). Everything has been working since we and plan to continue using I Know A Guy HVAC for regular Fall & Spring servicing. Top notch service and I would highly recommend to others!!

I Know a Guy is the bees knees. I was very impressed with their service tech. He was knowledgeable and professional. He found the problem and got my ac back on. I will definitely be a life long customer.

Did some pricing around and decided to use these guys to get a new HVAC zone for our upstairs. They installed a whole new system for me in the attic over the course of 4 days. I'm sure they could have gone faster, but I had some special requests about how it was to be installed and they were perfectly willing to work with me on those. That's another thing I liked-I knew what I wanted (which was a bit unconventional) and Brandon let me know what I was asking was unnecessary, but didn't try and talk me out of it like some of the other guys I had had come out (one of them pretty much refused to do it because it would be more work and he didn't want to do that). In the end, I Know A Guy offered one of the lowest bids, worked with me to get everything just the way I wanted, and even went to the added effort to install the lines on the outside edges of the attic to leave room for storage in the middle.
The system is too new for me to talk about how well it works, longevity, honoring warranties, etc, but I'm very happy with the process up to this point and would recommend these guys for anyone looking at getting a new system.

Alex came to our condo to see what he could do for our heater. We had 5 other companies come and tell us the same thing over 2 1/2 years—that it’s impossible to get to the heater because it’s on the other side of the ductwork, and the space is too small to access it. Alex removed 3 screws and was able to access our heater 5 minutes after he arrived. And he said that the other 5 guys were lazy!!

He then told us that our heater was pretty new, and that we needed to put in a new air filter and that should take care of the issue. We paid the service fee, bought the filter, and had heat for the first time from our heater.

By the way, the other companies wanted to cut out our bathroom ceiling to be able to take out our heater and replace our air conditioner which were probably around 6 or 7 years old at the most! And they only wanted around $10K Tod that and leave us with a giant mess!!!

If I could I’d give these guys 10 gold stars!!! They are the best!!!!!!

Our AC went out just before a heatwave. These guys were booked out at least a week but knew I was pregnant so made it happen to get our new unit installed and running within 2 days of us accepting their bid. Their prices were super competitive too. Highly recommend!

These guys are awesome. They answer the phone every time. Got a great price for the work. Hired them twice, super helpful and friendly. If I ever have another project or know friends that need one, I will definitely recommend them.

I shopped around a lot for our system. These guys weren’t the cheapest, or the most expensive. Right down the middle. They were friendly, professional, and conscientious. No hard sales either. One of the best service experiences I’ve had.

I’ve used these guys for years and they do great work. Quick, forthright, and always looking for the best solution for you. They really take care of you. My AC went out right as the temperature skyrocketed this summer and they worked me in ASAP to make sure I wasn’t dying in the heat. Extremely affordable, and their process is incredible. They have full reports with diagnostics, notes, and steps taken when they’re done so you know exactly what they did and what to keep an eye on with your system. 10/10, I will always go with I Know A Guy.

These guys always do a great job. I’ve gotten my water heater and furnace replaced and they were super communicative. I also had some issues with my hvac and they went above and beyond to help me out. They are definitely my go to!

Alex moved his day around to accommodate our schedule, didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. Found the problem fast, and went the extra length to make sure it was all working.

From my experience you can trust and rely on Alex. If any one asks me in the future... Well... wait for it....
