We needed a stump ground in our little fenced-in yard. They were very careful about maneuvering in through the little fence gate. We appreciate their prompt response, reasonable estimate, and how quickly and neatly Scott and his brother got the job done.

Utah Stump Grinders did a great job for us at a very reasonable price. They showed when they said and quickly got the job done.

My parents hired UT stump grinders to come and take care of my stump. They came the very next day. It was amazing to watch that grinder just eat away the old stump. They ground the whole thing down, even filled in the hole and cleaned up the mess. They were a great team and very nice men. I would recommend them! I was very impressed!

Scott was great. He gave me an estimate that I thought was very fair. He was very knowledgeable about his stuff when I asked some questions. He showed up on the agreed date and time and went to work. Ok, so once upon a time I rented from HD and did the stump grinding myself. Never again. This is the second time I've used Utah Stump Grinders and here is why: (1) They answer the phone and are very pleasant (2) Predictable - they show up when they say they will be there (3) The completed job is pretty - the stump is gone but they do it with minimal trace, just wood shreds neatly piled but no damage to the rest of the lawn (4) Prices are very competitive - the second time I didn't even shop around. I already knew USG was great. (5) They have never asked for more money on the job if it got more complicated. (6) Both times the stumps were over 30 inches. No problem for this team. If anyone asks - this is the team I recommend.

We had a small stump we needed removed so we could plant a bush in it's place. I called him and another stump grinder. His minimum charge was $85, while his competitors were $110.
He was very professional, quick, and cleaned up after himself.

Called Scott @ about 11:00 AM & he finished @ about 5:00 PM during his busy season (04-01-2016) He said normally @ this time of year their about a week behind.

He worked me into his schedule on his way home from his other details. 52" X 22" Stump & I loved the Senior Discount. Very fast, it only took 30 minutes & he also cleaned up the mess with a blower.

They were OUTSTANDING to work with. From initial contact on, when Scott said they would be at the job they were there. We had a couple huge old stumps that were in very rocky soil. Due to the nature of the job and some excavating work that had to be done, it took a couple trips back to get everything removed. I would happily do business with them again!

Congratulations on making it this far-- if you are thinking about removing your stump yourself, don't waste your time. They came right out when I was in a bind so I could get my new tree planted. These guys will save you a bundle in time, money and aggravation. Friendly service and they do great work. Thanks again!

Great experience. We had three stumps removed, all three look great. Had some weather related delays, but they were in contact frequently to get things rescheduled.

Don't do it yourself, this is one of those times it is faster, easier, and cheaper to have a pro take care of it.

They did an awesome job! They came on time and made quick work of our tree and stump. They were accurate with their estimate and were very friendly. They were nice enough to cut the tree into managable sections for us and even moved it off our lawn when they did not have to. They cleaned up all the shaving into a nice pile and were pleasant the entire time they were at our house!!! I highly reccommend them to anyone looking for this kind of service. Scott, the owner of the company, was polite and took time over the phone to explain their service. We informed him that we had a gate his equipment would have to fit through, and that we were concerned about our recently sodded lawn. He came out personally and looked at the situation. We agreed to have his employee (his brother Steve) return the next day and grind the 40-inch stump. Steve arrived a few minutes earlier than promised. Like Scott, he was also very polite and knowledgeable. Their grinder is a remarkable piece of equipment. It is self-propelled and comes with power steering to get from the trailer to the job site. Its big rubber tires are very kind to the lawn. It was fun to watch Steve maneuver the machine through our gate with 1/8" to spare. He was very very careful. He also knew we were concerned about the lawn. He guided the machine's grinder as it chomped through the stump, and raked and used a power blower to make sure there were no chips or sawdust left on the lawn. Utah Stump Grinders are straight forward, up-to-date, honest, courteous, and prompt.

I cannot rate this company higher. I had 5 decent sized stumps and they destroyed their competition on price. They got all 5 stumps taken care of in just a few hours. They did an absolutely phenomenal job! Would highly recommend!

Who shows up on time, goes the extra mile, and maintains their quoted price? Well, this company does. Utah Stump Grinders showed up promptly as scheduled at 4:15pm, ground our two stumps, raked the sawdust off the lawn, and even cut one of the trees we still had in the yard into manageable sections at no extra charge. Very impressive. The price was very reasonable. I highly recommend them!

We just had our stump ground out by Utah stump grinders they did an excellent job, they were here done and gone in under 30 minute. They were friendly and fast! They littlew a bit late but they had to get some new teeth to put on their grinder before they could start the job, So for me that's acceptable.

First, they worked their schedule around my other yard projects which was so considerate and helpful! Second, they were on time. Third, they had great communication. Fourth, they ground the stump but missed some of the base which made it difficult when I started to excavate. I contacted them with my concerns and the immediately got me on the schedule and not only fixed what needed to be ground up but also got the surrounding roots as well! To top it off they were by far the best price I found. It's the whole package here! This is the reason they get 5 stars. They back their work, are friendly, punctual, affordable, with great communication.

Scott was responsive, took care of the stump quickly, and cleaned up the area for a very reasonable price. And was just generally pleasant on the phone which nowadays seems like a bonus.
