Came same day I called, fixed a problem, that other electricians said had to have holes put in the wall to fix, without making any holes in the walls!

Ryan was prompt, polite and provided professional performance! I highly recommend his services!!

Ryan @ SarahandFamilyElectrical is a TRUE GEM. Over the past several years, among other things, he has installed an electrical line to my garage for an EV charger, installed two sets of whole house surge protectors on two different electrical panels, and installed recessed ceiling lighting. Most recently, he diagnosed and repaired an exterior low voltage lighting system that had not worked properly for quite some time. His workmanship and work ethic are top notch, and he’s always steers me to decisions that are well grounded (no pun intended) and that make economic sense. You will not find someone more technically proficient and more pleasant to deal with. FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY.

Ryan replaced several fluorescent lighting fixtures in our basement utility room ceiling with up-to-date LED shop lights
He also replaced one of our old shop lights in our garage ceiling that was starting to malfunction after 10 years. In all, he installed five new shop lights for us. In my view, our cost to have Ryan do these upgrades was very reasonable. He remains our "go-to" electrical professional. We highly recommend Sarah & Family Electrical Service to anyone needing electrical work, repairs or upgrades. I guarantee you will rate Ryan's work...first-rate!

Ryan was able to find and fix the electrical circuit that was out. There was a loose wire that had been sparking above a ceiling light (don't ignore flickering lights people) and could have caused a fire. He was very careful about cleaning up the work area, and it was fun chatting with him. I've asked for a couple of quotes for more work.

On Saturday, April 18, 2026, my husband and I arranged to have several follow-up electrical issues repaired based on our home inspection. Since we were unsure who to hire, we chose Sarah Family Electrical Company based on a recommendation—and we are so glad we did.

He and his apprentice worked throughout our home with precision and communicated using walkie-talkies instead of shouting from room to room, which we truly appreciated.

They clearly understood the assignment and executed it flawlessly. We are extremely grateful and happy with the results. Not only did they complete everything listed in the inspection report, but they also offered thoughtful recommendations that made perfect sense. If we hadn’t just purchased our new home, we would have taken Ryan’s advice immediately. We will absolutely be calling him again for any future electrical needs.

Ryan (and Sarah) could not have been more helpful. Our hot water heater went out last night, and we were scrambling to find a same-day fix. I reached out first thing in the morning and heard back right away.
