The team at Archer’s were prompt and courteous with service. I took a chance with a somewhat smaller business and it definitely paid off. The technician was completely honest and their was no upselling of products or services I didn’t completely need.

The tech that came had great manners, and found the problem. I had to wait weeks due to my home warranty company to send me my units parts. Soon as the parts came in they were back to install them. Will definitely use this company again.

This review is strictly about Archer and does not include the blunders of the home warranty company.
Brandon and Kevin are awesome! Kevin made the first visit to our home and indicated that parts were needed for repair. He contacted immediately reported to the office. Once the new unit was delivered to them they brought it out and worked diligently to get it installed only to discover that the wrong unit had been sent. They were apologetic while remaining professional and calm despite the hours they had put in. We are very pleased with the service we received from them and because of Kevin and Brandon we will enthusiastically recommend Archer to friends and family and will indeed use them again. Thanks Archer-Kevin, Brandon and Mary Kaye. -
Archer's was assigned to me by my home warranty.
They did quality work, they were flexible with my schedule and did excellent professional work.
Billy was my point of contact, he is very knowledgeable and was able to help me understand the behind the scenes detail and keep me informed.
I couldn't be happier that I got to work with this team and would be thrilled to have them work on my unit again when it needs it. -
My heat broke twice within a 2 month span. First time they were quick to come and fix it. Second time around was a little trickier. Made multiple appointments and took a week for them to actually show up. Whenever I called Cara seemed to give me the run around. The technician is more than fantastic and did a wonderful job!

The techs are very knowledgeable of their job. But the receptionist is a problem. I called over 20 times to have my issue resolved with my furnace but all I get is the answer machine and at one point I couldn't even leave a messages because the voice mail was full for over a week!!!!.

Although I deal with a home warranty program (Cinch) who I agree with most reviews about them. They are in it for themselves, they send wrong parts, they take forever to send someone to perform the service and it looks like they choose incompetent companies to service or repair your hvac system. Archer recommends repairs, the warranty company locates the cheapest parts they can find after disregarding the hvac companies recommendations. Archer received the parts a did not verify that they received the correct parts to perform repair. Archer installed the wrong part and the unit malfunctioned and if I had not questioned it they would have installed it twice. They do not show up when they tell you they will be there and they do not come prepared to correct problems. We have been without central AC for over two months and we are senior citizens. Whatever happened to first-time quality, communication with the customer and transparency. Treat people the way you want to be treated. Unfortunately this is the experience we have had with Archer.

Apparently this company was at my neighbor's replacing their unit. Meanwhile as the neighbor not having their unit worked on they decided to park in my driveway not taking up one spot but both spots of my driveway. Meanwhile they could have parked in front of the house they were actually working on. The guys saw me pull behind them proceeded to walk away. So therefore I had to park my car in the middle of the street and get out to personally ask them to move their equipment out of my driveway to pull in. They both proceeded to laugh and moved one thing but didn't move their van from my driveway. Again you are not working on MY house so you should not be parked in MY drive way. No apology nothing then they proceeded to walk away laughing and commenting about the situation instead of being respectful and moving their things out of the resident's property they are NOT working on. Hopefully their work is better than their manners. 🤦🏼♀️

I was assigned this contractor by my home warranty company. I have had to put in work orders for my unit multiple times over the past couple years because all they do is band-aid fixes. This latest time they didn't even come do the job and failed to contact me at any point during the process. They also failed to show up to the first appointment date/time and did not even contact me or return my call after leaving a voicemail. Very unprofessional service. Would absolutely not recommend.

Horrible… wish I could have given it 0 stars…keep in mind the person that answers your phone can make or break a business.. would not recommend

I contracted with Archer’s Heating and Air in July, and paid in full for a heating and air conditioning unit. After several calls, no return calls, no shows, they finally installed a smaller unit a month later because my order was sent to another company. Now, mid September, they still have not installed the unit that I paid for. I called the technician today, and had to remind him who I am. He apparently has not been looking for my unit. He said that he’d follow up and call me back in 15 minutes. I never heard back from him. The office never answers the phone, nor do they return messages. I am very frustrated. Guess I’ll report to the BBB and seek reconciliation of this issue in Small Claims court. I definitely would not recommend Archer’s Heating and Air in Disputanta, VA!!! 😡😡😡

Let me just say that the contractor we had the first time did a good job. However, the second time we tried to use this service- it was mid December/ late in the fall- it was only a month after the unit was fixed the first time.
This time we were scheduled for 5 days later, and when the appointment time arrived, not only did no one show up, but we also did not get any notifications from the company.
We tried calling the office a few times, and no one answered. We tried to contact them all day the next day, and still, no one answered. We left a couple of messages and no one returned our call until TWO DAYS LATER. Mind you, it is the coldest week of the fall- I am sure they are busy, but this is ridiculous.
When they finally called back, they said they would try to get someone out that very same day but likely it would be another 3 days, and we would have to wait until Monday. So we asked them to give us a call if it would not be that same day because we are tired of living in a house that does not get warmer than 52 degrees at any given time. They call back about 10 minutes later to say that they can not get in contact with their own contractors. (!!??)
We were using this company because it was who our home warranty chose, but after this we were forced to go with someone else. So overall, I would say they do okay when they are not overwhelmed, but if it is an emergency, go somewhere else. -
Warranty company called them out to replace my Trane. It was replaced with a Goodman. Probably warranty companies fault. Didn’t take them long to install. Was told it would be all day. Things they moved, they didn’t put back. Left stuff out in the weather. Threw stuff around in the crawl space they were working in. They never answered the phones or called back but was sure quick to answer/call when it was time to collect the $500 in “uncovered” charges they say the warranty company doesn’t cover. Two days later it quit working. Came out, it had a blown fuse. Come to find out it was too much power for breakers I had. Didn’t discuss options just came out and took out a heat strip. Probably should have asked if I wanted to update power supply. Don’t think it’s gonna be as efficient as it’s supposed to be now. Seems to run more often than when they first installed it.
