Kathy and her team are very knowledgable when it comes to remodeling. They are very efficient, professional, and reasonably priced as well. Highly recommended!

I had an amazing experience with Kathy. Her knowledge in construction and her customer service to understand what I wanted and needed was amazing. Will 100% be coming back for more work!! Amazing team!

We hired Capitol Metro Contracting for a bathroom and kitchen renovation for our home and it was the best renovation decision we made. This team worked professionally, were great communicators throughout the project, and left us with a sense of trust during the whole process.

Hector provided great insight and guidance during the design phase while Bryan was great to work with on the day-to-day and always kept us informed while asking relevant questions. We even had them go back and review/fix the work of a lesser contracting team so we would have the trust that Capitol Metro Contracting provides.

We had a great experience working with Capitol Metro Contracting on several of our interior design projects, from bathroom renovations to custom built-ins. They consistently did excellent work and were very thorough in their execution.

Kathy is wonderful to work with. She’s approachable, communicative, and very easy to collaborate with. Hector was fantastic on the job site and incredibly knowledgeable, always bringing a lot of expertise and attention to detail.

They’re also just genuinely nice people, which makes the process even better. We appreciated working with their team and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trusted team to help bring their vision to life.

I want to give Capital Metro a big shout-out for their consistently professional service and the great work they do. Their customer service is truly amazing, and it really makes a difference.
A special thank you to Kat and Hector for going above and beyond to meet my expectations. Your professionalism, dedication, and willingness to help did not go unnoticed. I truly appreciate everything you’ve done. Keep up the excellent work!

Definitely a business you can fully trust and I'll always recommend.

Fast response. Very effective job. Just what I wanted.

Quick and easy, very professional and on time. NO complaints on the workers or any of the customer services provided. Would recommend to anyone trying to get anything done to their homes.

I couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of outstanding. The customer service provided by Kathy was amazing. She was always available to answer questions and address concerns.

I would recommend Capitol Metro Contracting to anyone looking for an attentive, responsive and thoughtful group of craftsman. We used the CMC team for a kitchen remodel and were blown away by their work.

I had several friends who had work done on theirs homes by Hector and CMC and knew one day, if I ever needed something done on my home, Hector would get my business. It took almost 12 years, Hector and CMC completed a kitchen remodel this past November. My wife and I couldn’t be happier! It’s awesome in every way. Cabinets, flooring, tile backsplash, countertops, lighting, all done with meticulous craftsmanship. You can’t go wrong having CMC help you realize your dreams! Stellar in every way possible.

We have had the distinct pleasure and good fortune to contract with Hector Martinez and Capital Metro Contracting for over the past twelve years in the accomplishment of numerous projects on our Alexandria, VA residence. What started with simple concrete pouring work to complete a large patio for a jacuzzi and under-deck concrete flooring following a major addition to our 1960s vintage home developed into an enduring professional relationship and friendship that flourished with each subsequent project as we recognized the talent of Hector’s artisans with whom he subcontracts. Follow-on projects over the years included driveway removal and replacement with a new, expanded concrete driveway with handsome brickwork borders; removal and replacement of our concrete front porch and curved entrance walkway with brickwork that is welcoming; removal of our picket fence and the construction of an 8 foot high solid privacy fence; replacement of our wooden deck across the rear our our home’s 2009 addition with Trex planking and vinyl columns with horizontal stainless steel cabling; installation of a new sump pump and buried exhaust plumbing out to the street; construction of a new retaining wall around our vegetable garden; installation of luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring throughout our ground floor; installation of ceramic tile backsplash above the granite countertop in our kitchen and total renovation and enlargement and replumbing of our downstairs 60s-vintage guest bathroom to include walk-in shower, ceramic tiling of walls and floor … and MORE!!! The *TRUST* we have in Hector Martinez’s estimating, planning, scheduling and completion of all tasks on-time and within budget and with the QUALITY that exceeds expectations has been proven repeatedly!!! We have been pleased come to know and work with his son John on-site and his daughter Kathy in the contracting process. Capital Metro Contracting is OUR FIRST CALL whenever we need any work done on our home — there’s no job too big or too small!!! NONE BETTER!!!

We recently hired CMC to renovate our bathroom. Their attention to detail, professionalism and knowledge was absolutely incredible. I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you CMC for giving me my dream bathroom!

Capitol Metro Contracting is amazing. My wife and I had a new bathroom built in our home. The quality and service was impeccable. Thank you CMC.

Capitol Metro Contracting LLC is my “go to” for all renovation projects. We engaged Hector and the team for the first time in 2019 for a full basement gut and renovation. They built a full bath, storage room, under stair storage, HVAC space and office nook. The work was impeccable. Since they have built our walk in closet and renovated the closets in two other rooms, renovated two bathrooms, replaced the roof, installed new gutters and installed landscape lighting and pavers in the front and back of the house. All work is impeccable, affordable, managed well and executed flawlessly. I can’t recommend enough!

I love Capitol Metro Contracting! Very professional and honest. They remodeled my basement and restroom above and beyond what I envisioned! Kathy was a true professional. The project director was very hands on with my project. I will be going to CMC for every future project moving forward. Thank you so much!!

I would high recommend Capitol Metro Contracting. They are very professional, timely, have great customer service, very approachable, all you through everything, and have an amazing team. I’m extremely happy with the work and wouldn’t choose anyone else.

The team was efficient and professional in communication and with the project. They did a great job on our master bedroom floor installment. We are happy with the results and are likely to work with them again in the future. You cannot go wrong with CMC!

Kathy has been exceptional! She is incredibly professional and always quick to respond. Her thoughtfulness and organizational skills have made her so easy to work with. Highly recommend!
