Wow...what a great company! Last week they installed a complete new HVAC system in our law office. Their installation crew was perfect...they treated me like I was the Prince of Wales...the King of England. If you need a commercial installation I strongly recommend that you use them. You shall be very happy.

Signed up for their bi-annual maintenance plan. The tech arrived in a clearly marked van, wore shoe covers, and used drop cloths everywhere. Didn't just change the filter! Used an inspection camera on the evaporator coil, cleaned the condensate drain with a vacuum, checked refrigerant pressures with manifold gauges, calibrated the thermostat, and tightened all electrical connections. Found a slightly wobbly fan motor mount and fixed it on the spot. Feels like a brand-new system again!

My experience with Commercial Express HVAC was extremely frustrating. Although their customer service team was polite, the dispatch and technician services were inadequate. Appointments and time windows were frequently changed and delayed, and I was pressured to approve overtime charges for faster service. When I asked about wait times, I was given dates and times that were later altered, adding to the inconvenience.

After waiting 4-5 days for a technician, the system was initially reported as fixed, but it never actually was. When I pointed out that it wasn’t working on-site, the technician insisted it was and advised waiting overnight to see if it improved. This led to yet another delay for a follow-up visit. Overall, the level of competency was subpar, and the service was not worth the hassle or the extra cost.

Their driver is horrible and dangerous who makes illegal turns and cuts people and flips off other drivers!

Please, if you have a choice to work with another company,please please do so. This is the most dishonest and incompetent HVAC company that I ever worked with. Not only they charged me wrongfully , I also lost business because I had to close my shop for several days because of the mistakes.. I will be reporting them to Better Business Bureau as well

This company installed a very expensive heating system in my yoga studio, about 4 years ago, and it's never worked properly. I have to call them weekly to fix the heater but it never gets fixed and it's an ongoing nightmare. I do think they have talented staff and the people are kind but why can't they fix my heater? Honestly i like them but they have been nothing but a disappointment not mention how they have negatively impacted my business.

To other reviewers: this isn’t the Google Maps listing for Commercial Express. I think Commercial Express has actually removed their Google Maps listing - I can only assume due to the negative reviews. They aren’t even located anywhere near this address. They’re at 44931 Falcon Place, Sterling, VA 20166. It’s on their website, and you can see their building on street view even though they APPEAR to have attempted - hilariously - to block the view of their building with a series of trucks.

I am still leaving a negative review of whatever business this listing is actually for, because I don’t believe it exists either. There’s no website, the name of this “business” is extremely generic, the street view shows a strip mall where this is supposed to be, and the phone number leads to an extremely janky phone system and then eventually a call center for “ARS Rescue Rooter.” Google should remove this listing.

Commercial Express HVAC Is a Complete Disaster – Avoid at All Costs

I’m writing this review right now in 80% humidity because the HVAC units Commercial Express installed still aren’t working—more than seven months after they started the project. If you're even considering hiring them for a commercial job, run the other way.

This project at Preston’s Compounding Pharmacy was supposed to take 8 weeks. It started in November 2024. It’s now mid-2025, and it’s still not finished. The level of negligence and incompetence from this company is truly astounding.

The “project manager” Diane is a ghost—completely useless. She doesn’t communicate, she ordered the wrong parts multiple times, and seems totally unqualified to manage even the simplest job, let alone a multi-unit HVAC install.

During the botched installation:

Units were wired incorrectly

Actuators were ordered wrong, then installed wrong

No heat was provided to staff in the middle of winter despite promises to deliver a solution

And now, we’re baking in suffocating humidity because they still haven’t fixed the cooling

This company has wasted our time, disrupted our business, and shown zero professionalism. If you value your money, your time, and your sanity—stay away from Commercial Express HVAC.

You’ve been warned.
