Cool Factory and especially their manager Kerri helped us when the home warranty company was dragging their feet. Within a week of talking to her we had a new compressor installed and now after three weeks without AC for our upper bedrooms the temps are returning to normal. This is a company I will use again. Cool Factory was selected by my home warranty company after the first company they assigned was unresponsive. They came out the next day and confirmed the problem of the unit. Quickly submitted the service request to AHS and has given me excellent customer service to replace my system. Thank you for addressing the potentially dangerous situation with my furnace.

This company was assigned to us by our home warranty. They never contacted us. We tried to contact them by text, email and phone. No answer.

This company came to my house by American homeshild warranty company, their technician told me that I need to replace a part of my AC unit system because it’s old and broken, I agreed with his opinion, I surprised later that his company sent a different report to my warranty company saying that I just need to refill the feiron to the unit, so they have made a dale with the warranty company against me to make me pay most of the cost from my pocket.

They have abandoned my 68 year old mother to sweltering heat. She reported her AC not working on May 27th. It has been 2 months of heat wave and they have not fixed her AC. Now, mold is growing on her air vent. She has respiratory problems already. First American Home Warranty and @coolfactoryinc have been an absolute nightmare! Service Request #309422848

This company came to my condo under a home warranty call by American Homeshield. They refused to even spend 5 minutes to find my AC unit in the condo and they left. They then refused to complete the work order, the repairman said he was in a hurry and had too many other units to service. He didn't even bother to look for my unit despite knowing that there were 2 cats who were in a hot apartment without AC.

WARNING.....This company is a joke. DO NOT use this unprofessional company. They came to my home and misdiagnosed my air conditioner unit. My sunroom was blowing hot air and all they told me was to open the vents, but all vents were open. They showed me a picture of an unit that didn't look like my unit as proof that nothing was wrong. I called and spoke with a supervisor name Meka and Alexia (rude ladies) who never listening to the customer and lied to me telling me that the owner Alex would call me back and its been 2 weeks and no call. The technician that they sent showed up late to home and never provided me with documentation of my units' diagnosis as promised. DO NOT USE this company...you will be disappointed.

Took over a month and several issues for them to service my issue (fix heating). They ended up having me buy and install a new hvac - not even 6 months later, I am having the same problems they claimed to have fixed. It is also extremely difficult to communicate with this company and etiquette and quality is poor. Used them because of my home warranty, but I would rather just pay out of pocket if I knew this is what I would get.

This company is horrible. I wouldn't give them any stars. They are a complete scam/ fraud. American Home Shield sent them to service my AC unit all way to Clinton MD from Loudoun County VA. The tech clearly saw my compressor outside had explored, and all the refrigerant had run out on the ground. He went inside my house and opened up the unit to allegedly take pictures of mold. His diagnosis was that the mold caused the compressor outside to burn up so AHS would deny the replacement, and I would have to pay out-of-pocket. Cool Factory's estimate was $4,200. I demanded a second opinion from an HVAC contractor from my area. The second contractor diagnosed that the system failed due to age, which is covered. Don't let AHS send this company to your home. They should be out of business. I am going to contact the Loudoun County BBB about their fraudulent business practices.
Update: The second HVAC contractor diagnosed the problem correctly, and I was able to upgrade my old system for a lot less than $4,200 that I would have paid with Cool Factory.
