New install HVAC heat pump and replaced, sealed all the supply, return ductwork. Top—notch, professional and knowledgeable Team. Very responsive to homeowner requests and questions. The Griffin Team works well together to solve problems correctly, effectively and efficiently. Reasonable cost. The Team trustworthy and a pleasure to work with. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

We had used this company 5 years ago to install a new system and they did an absolutely incredible job. There crew was very professional, knowledgeable, and on time. We had made an appointment for them to come back out today just for routine maintenance and cleaning. The crew of Kenny and Glenn arrived on time and addressed what they were going to do and the cost. Kenny did tell us about their VIP service package but did not try to push us on it. They serviced our outside unit and made it look like brand new again. They took temperature readings at several areas around the home to check that the unit was putting out in all areas. They were extremely polite and very considerate of the property putting on shoe covers every time they entered the home. They explained all their findings to us and we decided that there VIP package was a good deal and a money saver for us. This was the utmost best service call I had ever seen. We had a leak under our kitchen sink that was difficult to get to and called Griffin Air LLC, as they had done some HVAC and plumbing work for us previously and we have always been very satisfied. They responded quickly and fixed the primary issue but also found a small leak from the faucet area. They controlled the leak, we got a new faucet to replace the worn out one that day and Ryan came right back out and fixed the second leak, installed the new faucet system, cleaned and dried everything up and was out in no time. He explained everything, showed me the defective parts, wore a mask the entire time he was in the house and was very professional. These guys do great work and do many things other than HVAC and plumbing. They even serviced my instant-on hot water system when we had issues. Great company!!!

I am a GAS customer with Griffin Air, referred by my daughter. To sign up, the tech stopped by my house on his way home with the paper work and to explain how the contract worked. Within 2 weeks I received a call for a service appointment. Diamond from Griffin Air came out today to perform a maintenance check on my AC Unit. She was prompt, friendly, and got right to work. She explained what she was doing and how the unit should work. She was here about an hour to evaluate the system, clean it, change filter and even changed out a recently blown contact. I can't be more satisfied with Griffin Air.

A HUGE thank you to Griffin Air! Our furnace went out a week before our son and his friends were planning to use our weekend cottage. Josh, Ryan, Kenny, and Sears came to the rescue. When there was a hiccup in the delivery of the new furnace Griffin Air did not give up. They were able to get the new furnace as promised. Kenny and Sears worked all day to install the new furnace and repair duct work just in time for the arrival of our guests. Our communication with Griffin Air was excellent. Ryan spoke with my husband on the phone and then he followed up with email estimates and appointment reminders. Kenny personally called me throughout the day to update me on their progress as he and Sears installed the new furnace.

Update - we had another issue, this time with the air handler control system up in the attic. When they installed the new part it did not fix the problem, so they figured out it was the control board and I did not pay for the first part. It took a while to get the new part but Ashley called with periodic updates and offered to provide me with temporary equipment if needed. New part in and system working. Can’t say enough about these folks and their approach to work - when you find that level of responsiveness and honesty you let others know.

We bought a house last Fall and had some heat pump issues, Griffin Air’s sticker was on the unit so we gave them a call. Ryan came out about an hour later, had parts in the truck and got everything running at a very reasonable price. Then right before the 4th the compressor blew out and my entire family was coming for the weekend. They were able to order a new outside unit Monday and Ryan installed it Wednesday. Again I received great service at a very fair price.

My air went out Saturday (Labor Day weekend) and I originally called my home warranty company. They scheduled a different contractor to my claim. I left that contractor a voicemail Sunday and Monday regarding the status (80+ in my house). No return calls (and still none) so my home warranty company then told me to find a contractor and after searching (not front his area) I found Griffin Air. Josh answered right away on Monday (Labor Day!) and scheduled a tech for Tuesday. A tech (Kenny) came out earlier than scheduled (called me to be sure I was okay with it and of course I was). Within 30 minutes the problem was diagnosed in repaired!! He looked over the unit and handler to be sure everything else was working well. Slowly but surely my home is finally cooling down!! THANK YOU GRIFFIN AIR!!!

Josh Griffin and his team are awesome! Great service, extremely knowledgeable crew, and they are ALL genuinely nice and above all, they are honest. Having them replace both HVAC units at the same time seemed overwhelming, but they made it seem less! Highly recommend them for all your hvac and plumbing needs!!!

Griffin Air's technician was on time and very professional. Griffin Air is sensitive to the customers needs and willing to adjust to the customer's concerns. Josh has always been great to work with.

If you're reading these reviews trying to determine if you should use Griffin Air, trust me when I say, look no further. When my HVAC unit blew up after 21 years this past August, I was also reading these reviews, even though I had used them once before to do a repair some years back. The thing that stuck out in the reviews was Josh Griffin's willingness to go the extra mile. I'd had that same experience with him when my repair was done. My fan needed replacing and the one they installed wasn't spinning quite right. Turns out, my unit isn't made anymore, so you can't get parts so easily. Josh took the time to search the internet and found one that fit. With all that in mind, I decided to get a quote. I know I wasn't an easy customer either, because I had many questions. Its a big purchase after all, but Josh was always patient and answered all my questions in a way that anyone could understand. I ultimately chose the Daikin FIT and it is awesome. So as I sit here this Thanksgiving Day, all snuggly warm, I'm thankful for Griffin Air. Shout out to the staff also. Ryan who did the recon, the installers, Kenny, who is a perfectionist, Glen and Luke and Ashley, who I suspect keeps everybody straight.

A++++++! AMAZING service and experience with Griffin Air! Called within 24 hours of the hottest day this year.

My house was at 90 degrees and we were sweltering in the heat. Our units are less than 3 years old (installed by another company) and I feared one of them was undersized for the home.

The owner called me back within 5 minutes and said he had a tech in the area. He was in my driveway within 20 minutes or so!!! The tech was extremely knowlegeable and sweet as could be! Even though I feared the worst, he did NOT take advantage of us. He found a simple problem and also made a few suggestions that were better alternatives to spending thousands that were just not necessary. Within an hour or so, our home was cooling, levels were great, and airflow was doubled. Then came the bill... and boy was I a happy girl!

They have earned a client for life. If you are in need of an experienced, friendly, professional, and trustworthy HVAC company, give Griffin Air a call!

After our A/C unit stopped working randomly last night, we reached out to Griffin Air who installed our new HVAC unit a few years back. We let them know the issues and they sent a tech right out, same day! Ryan came out and took a look at our system immediately fixed the problem and let us know that the thermostat we were using was actually less effective with our unit. Ryan's personality and customer service is phenomenal. He does great work and keeps you laughing the whole time. Highly recommend Griffin Air to everyone!

I am a new homeowner and within the last year I have had a few things go wrong with my air conditioning and heating units. Each time I called Griffin. They have always come out quickly to diagnose and fix the problems. They are very professional and do a great job! I will always call them if I have a problem and would highly recommend them.

Josh and team are incredible! Kenny was courteous, professional and knowledgeable when replacing a failing HVAC system with dual zone control. We also had Steve out for toilet replacement and faucet installation - he was outstanding and incredibly knowledgeable. Same-day service and and quick communication are rare on the Northern Neck. Kenny was a very good tech, he had his mask on, he knew what he was talking about he explained in detail what he was doing while he was going along. He was very polite and well mannered. I would use Griffin Air again for any of my problems that I may have in the further. I would recommend them as well.

Josh and team have been phenomenal on a challenging issue that presents itself intermittently with my water heater.
