David Hall is just wonderful! I called them on a Saturday evening about my elderly mother’s A/C. They called me back immediately. Jacob was so nice and was able to go over right away. He was very transparent and explained everything up front. He even called me back after fixing my mother’s A/C to let me know what he did and explain the costs. I cannot recommend them enough. They took great care of us and we continue to use them.

Jonathan, the owner, took really good care of our needs. Our hvac unit wasnt working well, they assessed our needs, gave us options and talked us through best way to handle it. Super quick response, and quick turn-around for new unit that was needed, even making sure we were comfortable in meantime. Grayson, our tech, worked really hard on a super hot day, in terribly tight quarters to do the job right, actually replacing the already existing setup, and doing it the proper way, despite it being a hard job. The job was done so quick and efficiently, replacing attic and outside unit in less than 5 hours.
I have already referred them to friends who are local, as finding trustworthy, and properly trained folks is so rare today. I cant thank them enough for taking care of our family.

Technician Scott provided very thorough maintenance service and explanation of work done today on our three systems. Our experience with David L. Hall over the years has always been top notch. We rarely have any problems with our systems (none with the two newer systems they have installed) because the company keeps them in prime working order. We highly recommend this company.

Wonderful company. Professional service given by both Jonathan and Scott. Had to buy a new HVAC unit. Could not have been more impressed with the patience in explaining each step . Decided to purchase a maintenance plan on my other old unit. The time that Scott took taking photos and explaining each step that was needed to maintain my old unit. I also have a new Honeywell thermostat that was part of my cost of my new HVAC unit . I love it and can control my temperature upstairs on an app. Delighted with my entire experience with David Hall Air. I wouldn’t use anyone else in the future!

Scott was outstanding on top of his game very pleased with the experience!

Jonathan and the crew were onsite and within 3 hours they had my old heat pump (indoor and outdoor units) removed and replaced with a new system which is working perfectly. Cleanup was great and the new system/installation is showroom quality, picture perfect!

I will definitely reach out for any future maintenance and system upgrades.

When we needed service at our home in Maidens-we wanted a local company -found Hall Air…best decision ever. SO years later we moved to Midlothian - we were Happy to find that David Hall Inc also serviced this area! We needed both a furnace and a heat pump - wonderful experience working with this company. I had a great experience with the team from Hall air. They were prompt, polite, and were just enjoyable to talk with. They worked quickly and fixed my AC within the morning. I would definitely recommend all my friends and family to Hall air for any of their HVAC needs.

We've been using David L. Hall, Inc. for a number of years - New name, NOW Hall Air !!! We have an annual contract with them, and they perform a complete service, Spring and Fall. They're reliable and prompt. Their contract fee is more than fair for assurance that we are warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Hall Air was able to replace my HVAC system on a Monday following their visit on the previous Friday.

I was so pleased with the service received from Scott Marcusson of David L. Hall Inc. during repair and maintenance of my HVAC system which I had neglected to have checked for quite some time. He also installed the UVC-LED Disinfecting System which I had inquired about. I was very impressed with the time he took to explain the problem and what was needed to fix it. I am now on their maintenance program which is reasonable and gives peace of mind. Everyone from the office through the repair, maintenance and installation was very professional and thoughtful! Couldn’t ask for better service. We were not customers of Hall Air, but my parents have been for years. We called when our HVAC went out on a very hot Sunday morning, and we had a newborn child. Jacob came out to our house within an hour. He provided us truly professional service and was extremely personable, plus honest and fair prices for the emergency. One of the best service experiences I’ve had in years with a vendor. If you live in Richmond, DO NOT use anyone else, use Hall Air!

Great group of people on the team. From assessment to installation, it was a week to get a handler and outdoor unit replaced! Love the prompt service and that the team was super friendly.

I have been with David Hall Air for well over 40 years. During that time, they have ALWAYS provided the very best service anyone could want. Today Scott serviced our units, was very thorough, and explained everything in detail. I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else.

My AC was out and the original HVAC company I called was a no show. I called Hall Air @ 10:34AM and a technician rang my doorbell ~1 hour later thanks to some terrific effort by the scheduler. The technician was great too. Diagnosed and fixed the problem in <20 min. He explained the price for the service call and the part, but also advised I could enter an annual service contract that would cover the repair, save me $100 + give me another service call. The terms/benefits of the service contract are great too BTW. A+ experience and a relief to find a company that has skilled techs and great business practices.

I received 3 estimates for the furnace and David Hall was best. They arranged service , performed it quickly and professionally, and it works great. Then they cleaned up everything so you wouldn't even know they had been here. I had mistakenly locked the door, so they couldn't get in to re-set the thermostat, but I called and they came over in about an hour.

Hall Air is the BEST! My call was responded to professionally and promptly. I had an appointment same day where the problem was diagnosed by Scott. He provided pictures of the issue, went to pick up the part across town and was back promptly to get my AC operating in no time He shared pictures of the new part and answered all my questions. I can always count on Hall Air and recommend them to everyone. They provide both exceptional service and are truly the best and most friendly team. You’ll never go to anyone else again.
