My Viking refrigerator completely stopped working, and I was worried about losing all my food. These guys showed up within hours and got it running again. Very knowledgeable and respectful. Definitely my go-to for refrigerator repair in DC.

We had an issue with our office walk-in freezer, and it was impacting our daily operations. We reached out to Premium Refrigerator Repair, and they responded quickly and professionally.

The technician arrived on time, diagnosed the problem efficiently, and had the freezer up and running the same day. He explained everything clearly and made sure the system was working perfectly before leaving.

Their team understands commercial equipment and the urgency involved. The service was reliable, pricing was fair, and the overall experience was smooth.

Highly recommend them for any walk-in freezer or commercial refrigerator repair.

    Thank you!

Premium Refrigerator Repair (PRR). Very bad experience,

Not on time: Their website promised same-day service, but it took them 15 days to finalize the work. I called them one Thursday night and they came the next day at 3 pm but could not fix the refrigerator because they did not have the parts. They promised me that they would service my refrigerator either the following Thursday or Friday and assured me that I would be the first one serviced after they received the parts the following Wednesday. The Thursday after the first visit, after I called several times PRR confirmed the technician would arrive at my residence the following day (Friday) between 8:00 am and noon. The did not show up on Friday and informed me that they would come the next day (Saturday) between 8 and 11 am. I cancelled my Saturday travel plans. PRR did not come to my residence on Saturday. The technician called me at 11:15 am on Saturday to tell me that he could not retrieve the parts needed to service my refrigerator. The GE part distributor was closed because of the Labor Day weekend holyday. He assured me that PRR would get the part the following Tuesday morning and that he would service my refrigerator around noon that same Tuesday. He finally came to my hose on Tuesday at 11:50 am, 12 days after my first call, but completed only part of the work. They were missing another part. The work was completed three days later.

Not responsive/Poor customer service/Not professional: I called them 8 times during the day of the appointment to get an update about the delay. PRR promised me every time that they would call me with an update "within the next 5-10 minutes," but never called. The first time they called me with an update was 2:45 pm the day of the first appointment to let me know that they could not service my refrigerator that day. The day of the rescheduled appointment, PRR never called to inform me that the technician was going to be late again.

Poor value: Price of factory original parts (inverter compressor and bottom freezer gasket) at the GE Monogram website was $190 and $86 respectively (i.e., $276 for parts). However, the invoice was for $2,173. It may be the market rate, but $1,897 for one hour and 20 minutes labor???!!! Almost an 800% mark up???!!! Draw your own conclusions. The invoice did not itemize the costs as is routine in most business. I asked them to call me back to explain their fees, but they never did. I was appalled at the lack of pricing transparency. I also felt that PRR’s was taking advantage of my vulnerability for being afraid of not having a refrigerator for a long period of time.

Misinformation: On Friday, the day of the first appointment, PRR informed me that the reason why they could not make my appointment was because the technician’s car broke down. The following day, they gave me a different explanation: that the technician had been working all day Friday to reconstruct a refrigerator in another house and that he was too tired to come to my residence. Also, at one point, PRR informed me that they had the parts since Wednesday. I was surprised when, the following Saturday, I learnt that the parts were not in their possession.

The technicians were cordial and knowledgeable.

Beware of this company. Repairmen show up in minivan with no company logo. If they work on your GE Monogram appliance they will void the GE warranty and GE will refuse to service the appliance thereafter. After a $700 charge our refrigerator does not work and will now have to be replaced because of the damage they did. Also, they do not appear to be licensed in the jurisdictions where they provide service. Washington Consumers Checkbook rates many area appliance repair companies, but not this one.

Where to begin? This has to be the worst customer experience I've received to date. Once they take your deposit they never get back to you. I've called them 7 times so far and there's still no resolution. The person who answers the calls often has no idea what to say to you except that he's just a scheduler. The only "premium" you get from this company is a premium on your blood pressure. Stay away from this business.

I just called them and I am looking at the reviews, when I called I asked for the proper business name and where they are registered at. They are not a legal company registered from the state and there are alot of companies like this. Before you book an appointment please research them to see if they are registered with the state and they are in good standing with the state.

Our experience was HORRIBLE. They did not do most of the things they said that they charged us for, cut wires leaving them loose, left screws strewn about in the upper compartment and charged a fortune. I called them to complain and they put me off. Do NOT use this group. I'd give negative stars if that was an option.

Paid a technician by the name of Charles $413.50!
    $60 for the inspection
    $147.75 for part
$206.75 to return and install said part.
I was never allotted a receipt/invocie for services rendered.
This is a rental unit of my grandmother who bless her heart! Is living alone and on a fixed income and needs the receipt/ invoice so the property owner can allocate a refund!
