Called them out for an emergency and they responded quickly and took care of the problem very reasonably.

Boswell is our 'go-to' plumbing company. After 20+ years of living in Williamsburg, Rich and his team have proven to be fair, fast, and quality focused.

Had very bad leak in toilet going through the ceiling of the front hall. Called them at 1pm today and their guys arrived at 1:20, fixed the leak and were done by 1:40. Great service, very nice guys and dog lovers too! Can't rave enough about this company. They also maintain our heating and cooling.

I can't say enough good things about this company. Their price's are in line with other companies. Their customer service and workmanship exceeded my expectations. Rich and his crew were polite, neat and personable. They showed up when they were suppose to. How refreshing ! Boswell Plumbing & Heating Inc.will always be my contractor of choice.

They came in and did an in-home estimate, and we agreed that they would come back with a cost estimate for the job the same week. They never did. I called them again the next week, and they promised that they would send over the esitmate the next day. They never did. Four or five times i contacted them and assured them that we were very interested in hiring them for the job as soon as we had a cost estimate. Each time they promised to get back to me, but they never did. Very unprofessional, and certainly not they way to treat a prospective customer. Needless to say, we had to take our business elsewhere.

Do not use Boswell! This summer my wife and I have redone our entire house. We have had tons of contractors in and out and have some wonderful experiences. From the moment the gentleman from Boswell came into my home I was uncomfortable. Our interaction began with him taking a tone with me because he did not have the garbage disposal that we ordered with him. We offered to go to the store to get one instead and he said that he would not install it so we would have to wait an hour for another representative to come with one. He truly acted as if we were inconveniencing him and walked around our house muttering under his breath.

Eventually we realized that we needed to run to Lowes to get something for the install. When I asked him to move his car he grumpily said "I guess I'll have to do that too then." He quickly changed his behavior when the other gentleman from Boswell arrived, but the experience was already tense and awful.

The worst part of all of this was that after they let we noticed one of the 5 faucets they installed is dripping. I called back assuming we just needed to let them know and they would help. NOPE! He wanted $130 to come and look at it, when only yesterday I paid over $600 to have it installed. He would not even entertain our plea to help us and then laughed and said "go ahead and contact the Better Business Burea. I already have an A+ rating and go ahead and write reviews." So I am writing a review because I am completely disgusted by the way this has been handled. There are lots of plumbers in Williamsburg. I hope that people take heed of this warning and research their plumbers more carefully than we did!

About three weeks ago, I got a new gas stove for my kitchen. I was referred to Boswell to have a gas line installed. When I called them, I spoke to a woman who said she would give the technician my message and he would call me back. At 5 pm that day, he called me and told me that they do installs and that they're fairly quick. I told him I would call him back when I could set up a time to have them come out and install.

I have been trying to set up a day for Boswell to come and install a natural gas line in my home for a little over two weeks now. When I call their main line, I talk to some woman who says she'll relay the message to the technician, and the technician will call me back with a time. I have called twice over these past few weeks, and have not gotten a single call back. I do not recommend them.
