Performed light landscaping including planting and gravel, limbing trees, and helping with some work inside an outbuilding on our property. He was responsive and friendly, did quality work, and it was a good value. Would recommend.

David Wight is a phenomenal artist at his work!! Great price, beautiful style

We had several raised flower beds that were rotting and falling apart needed attention. We called David and he was there the next day with several good suggestions of what could be done. Once we decided he was there the next day to do the work and everything looks great. He is knowledgeable, professional, and great to work with. We would definitely use him again for any work we need done.

Dec. 9, 2022: Deck resurfacing: I contacted Bellevue Deck and Fence (and David Wight) using Yelp information available. I needed approximately 29 deck boards removed (an unexpected task) within ten days in order to have a piece of equipment installed. The long term plan was to replace all the front and rear surface deck boards.

David called within 2 days and then came to the house to look at the project. He brought his tools and said he was able to do the work the same day. A bit more work was needed and we scheduled him to come the next week.

The communication was wonderful, David always followed up and arrived and did the work at the date/time he promised. His deck knowledge was also immediately evident and he made comments regarding different aspects of the deck that I never noticed. March 2023 (second review - still 5 stars!!):
Last week, David Wight, owner of Bellevue Deck and Fence, completed work on the front and rear decks of my Bellevue condo. Both decks had wooden surfaces and were approximately 30 years old. I no longer wanted to deal with the maintenance of a wooden surface and discussed the possibilities with David. His knowledge of deck construction and the materials involved is exceptional. He offered options that I never would have thought of and explained each step that would be needed. We went to Dunn Lumber together to look at the deck surface materials and the way in which the surface boards would be attached to the framing. David pointed out the pros and cons of the various materials, the care needed for each type and design options. The rear deck framing needed to be reinforced and the smaller front deck framing needed to be re-done. Upon inspection of the front deck, David found that the ledger board was rotten and replaced that, as well (an extra cost paid for by the condo Association). A staging area was set up near my unit and at the end of each working day David tidied up the deck areas where he was working. We had some delays due mostly to the freezing weather in February and some illness, but otherwise the work went smoothly. David was always communicative as to when he would arrive and what he would be doing that day and was patient in answering all of my questions. The total cost for the 2 decks was the amount of his estimate. At the end of the project, everything was cleaned up when he left. It was a pleasure to work with David; his expertise and careful planning resulted in 2 beautiful decks, including a railing on the front deck. He was a true “find.” My neighbors and visitors have all said how wonderful the decks are and how lucky that I found David. I totally agree!

David from Bellevue Deck and Fence is great! My old deck was becoming unsafe for my family, some of the boards were rotting and it looks like there wasn't proper structure in the first place. David removed the old wooden deck and built my new deck with Azek deck boards. He recommended hidden fasteners and I couldn't be more pleased. A true craftsman! This deck is sturdy and built to last. A great investment for our property and for my family to enjoy for many years. Thank you!

David came to the job site each day with a smile & a positive attitude. The project was much more work than expected when stripping treatments were not successful. After sanding, cleaning, and brightening, the stain results were fabulous. I am pleased with the new look of my deck.

I contacted Bellevue Deck and Fence through their website, answering questions and sending pictures of my existing deck. I planned to have it totally replaced. David responded quickly, and came by for a consult. He recommended resurfacing the deck instead of rebuilding. I took his recommendation, using TimberTech composite decking material. David and his crew were professional, and a pleasure to work with. They removed the old deck surface, repaired and augmented the existing framing using updated construction methodologies, and finally put on the new surface. We are very pleased with the results. The deck looks like new, and the underlying framework should hold up as long as the composite decking. I highly recommend Bellevue Deck and Fence.

David and crew knocked it out the the park on our deck and backyard project. They forged thru a challenging permitting process involving a large raised deck in high risk landslide area and really delivered a beautiful finished product. They also redid our retaining walls and our front porch, and replaced a section of a storm and age damaged fence during this build and each part turned out great. Highly recommend!

David and Nathan helped us resurface the deck, replacing the wood deck surface with Azek TimberTech. The project went smoothly in every aspect. David was excellent in communication and scheduling. His estimate was competitive. When unexpected issues came up, he’s collaborative in finding solutions. We’re very satisfied with their work and highly recommend them.

My Homeowners Association needed a wall and walkway done. David was very responsive and we decided together what would work best. He went above and beyond designing the area and made sure he built it to be there for 20 years. I found David to be a professional in every sense of the word. Easy to work with and excellent workmanship. I will definitely use him on any new projects we have. I would highly recommend him!

I had some issues with the weather damaging one of my fence doors, and David took care of it immediately! He's a professional, courteous and friendly guy that will get the job done at a great price. Highly recommend his services!

You'd be lucky to have this company working for you...at least, that's what they seem to think. Customer service is appalling!! They're done with you once your payment is received. Questions? Good luck getting responses. One star because there is no 1/2 option. Follow-up is essential in business...there is none here.
