Wombat Plumbing was outstanding from start to finish. Excellent communication throughout. Nathan does good work, is very knowledgeable & extremely helpful. In addition to a quick repair, and going above & beyond to fix a few smaller issues, the plumbing inspection is something homeowners should get. I’ll use them again. Highly recommend them.

I am doing a bunch of work to get a new shop up and running and brought in Wombat to consult and advise on the best path forward for water supply, interior plumbing systems, and exterior irrigation. To be clear, this consulting was a paid service, not pro bono Q&A.

Nate showed up right on time and spent the next two hours with me answering my endless questions with painstaking detail. Unlike many tradespeople I've worked with in the past who often given the shortest and most pro-oriented answers possible (and get irritable if you need more clarification), Nate did an excellent job of walking me through every detail at a level appropriate to my lay-person status, even going so far as to show me samples of different materials and methodologies from his truck and demonstrate some techniques for using them.

On an interpersonal level, Nate was patient and attentive. Contractors and tradesfolk are often under tremendous pressure to deliver on an impossibly long list of projects. That can understandably translate to brusque attitudes and a projected sense of "I can't get out of here fast enough." Though understandable, it sucks for the customer. Nate, on the other hand, never made me feel as though I was wasting his time or that he had other places he wanted to be. And yes, I realize that I was paying for his time, but that fact hasn't seemed to stop other folks I've worked with from getting impatient or decreasing the quality of service provided!

After we parted ways, he followed up with an email with even more detail on some of the things he'd told me, specific products that could solve my problems, pointers to relevant code, and tips for collaborating with inspectors.

Like I said, I could not be any happier with the service provided and will absolutely be using Wombat Plumbing again in the future, both for further consulting as well as for labor and execution. It was a pleasure doing business!

Nathan did such an amazing job installing our new water heater. It looks great and is so much better, and really saves on our electric bill! Very nice and professional person . I highly recommend him !
