Amazing service just lovely very nice people and does a great job

Live in LFP and a wind storm last night left a large "widow maker" branch hanging over our yard. Spoke to a very pleasant woman (Mary Anne, I believe) and explained the circumstance. I was under a tight time constraint due to leaving town for business soon.

Mike came over less then 3 hours later and evaluated. Quoted me a very fair price and was able to expedite before I had to leave. Relieved.

Nothing but high marks. Efficient and personable. Highly recommend.

They did amazing work cleaning up our green belt including pulling tons of ivy off a maple.

'Mac" Stach arrived for our initial consultation on 11/15/24. He observed the conditions of the area where the work would be done. He discussed the condition of the trees as initially stated in his report.
The crew lead by Jacob arrived early on 12/4. They asked that two vehicle be relocated to allow staging of their chipper, and began working to remove the trees. The work was completed in the two days. They cut the trees in +/- 16 inch rounds to be used for firewood.
Jacob and his crew were knowledgeable and professional, courteous and respectful of the owners property.
Mac and his Davey Tree crew have earned our highest recommendation.

The crew at Dave’s did some work for my grandma. He was very happy to have her apple tree removed that had been sick for years and to be told that we had an ash tree in the front yard.

We've used Davy Tree for 10 years. They always have showed up on time, done a professional job, and cleaned up the mess so you'd never know they were there. Our trees are beautiful, healthy, and well cared for. Davy Tree was the best find ever! We could not be happier, or recommend them more.

Mac from Davey cut down my apple tree and told me what kind of trees I had in my yard. These guys are great. My grandson's drop got stuck in a neighbors tree and they helped get it down. It wasn't even broken!!!

We used Davey Tree Experts to trim a wild corkscrew willow and some other larger bushes, and to remove some bushes. The process was pain-free from beginning to end.

The arborist who came out to give us an estimate was friendly, on time, and willing to spend as much time answering our questions as needed.

The crew that did the work (Jacob, Mike, and Elle) also showed up on time, was very friendly, communicated well through the entire job, and did a terrific job.

We are delighted with the service, and recommend them.

I hope that I have enough room in this little box to sing a huge chorus of praise for The Davey Tree Expert Company, most especially for the Lake Forest Park, WA branch, and the wonderful experts who work there along with the great leadership of Jason Maize. I am long overdue in sharing the absolutely incredible job that these people do. They have been helping to make our garden at our home, more and more beautiful for the past 8 years. Each year they carefully inspect (and treat if necessary) every tree and plant in our garden, fertilize all trees and shrubs at the appropriate times of the year, control insects and disease, and Jason personally comes by to consult with us about any concerns that we may have regarding specific problems with various plants, which have come up from time to time. They have also done an excellent job with pruning and caring for our "Landmark" Blue Atlas tree. Truly, there are not enough adjectives to describe their expertise, problem solving skills, knowledge, great customer focus and service, and reverence for all living plants and trees. We are greatly indebted to Davey Tree for the careful health and care of our Garden. We love you Davey Tree, and our amazing team at Davey Lake Forest Park! Julie and Scott

Davey Tree Service did a very nice job pruning and de-limbing our trees. Clean up was through. Start of work was done professionally with concern for neighborhood traffic and property. Great scheduling and on time. Very happy with their efforts. Jason is quite the tree climber.

The Davey crew was wonderful. They gave recommendations on the best way to trim our plants and trees to keep them healthy, were careful and courteous of our home and our neighbors, and were also a good price for the quality of work. Would recommend them to anyone looking to do tree trimming/maintenance/etc

Consistently does an outstanding job. We have used Davey before and they are great communicators, professional, knowledgeable and do the job exceptionally well. Cannot recommend them enough. They also recently helped us navigate a more complex situation that was time sensitive - and went above and beyond. Cannot thanks Mac enough!!

This review covers 2 related major jobs that Davey did for us in the past month. We had 3 fir trees blow down and cover our yard, one 135' and another 120', in the November bomb cyclone near Seattle. Davey was the company sent out by our insurance company in response to the request for tree service on filing a claim at 10 PM before the storm even ended. Their estimator, Mac, was out early the next morning. I also got estimates from 2 other companies in the area. Davey was competitive in my 2 usual criteria - price and assessment of their ability to perform the job. The decision went to Davey with confidence due to an extra factor. Mac showed such thorough knowledge of the process that I would go through during the removal and how insurance companies handle such tree removals (no house damage involved) that I could not help being reassured that this, my first homeowners claim, was going to be fairly smooth.
The crew was out just a couple of days later, in spite of the widespread area damage, with many cases of trees on houses. They worked efficiently and hard for a day and a half to remove the tons of debris down to the stumps. The disruption to my yard was small considering the extent of the job.
Mac and I had decided to treat the handling of the stumps as a separate task to be decided when the other debris was removed. It proved to be a good choice. I could handle the small stump myself, and the 2' diameter stump went unexpectedly upright to a position I am choosing to leave once the weight was removed. The 2.5' diameter trunk was another matter, with a huge hole and a rootwad well over 8' in diameter.
For the large rootwad, Mac worked with me on creative ideas other than the expensive option of completely grinding the roots and stump completely to ground level. They were out in a reasonable time after we decided on a course of action, overcame an unexpected mechanical problem, and completed the job the next work day. It had chosen a course that was not perfect but was sufficient and within the limits of what my neighbor and I wanted to spend. The work that Davey was able to do within those limits far exceeded what I had hoped for. I am as happy as I could be with the process short of not having had the trees fall in the first place.
