What an outstanding small company! Brittany was great arranging the installation of our hybrid water heater. Austin just left and did a tremendous job installing the unit and explaining how to use it. Great Northwest is amazing.

I've worked around contractors most my life, and have a healthy fear of being ripped off. These guys are honest, and truly make you feel like they care about you. No upsells, no telling me "you need this and this first before we repair that".

Brittney(customer service) was a life saver in getting me on the schedule the day after Xmas when everyone else had a week backlog.

Steve(repair tech) kept in contact with me throughout the day to let me know when he would be by. He was super kind and handled the problem with ease. He even showed me how to fix a few simple things myself instead of paying him to do it.

Couldn't ask for a better company to save my bacon. I'm not a hugger, but Steve got one today.

Tim and Rob were a great team installing a new water heater for me. I liked the respect they showed for each other; the long- experienced one teaching the newcomer with patience and allowing him to practice new skills as they went along. I was taught the operation of the new heater and all my questions were answered quickly and kindly. I'd give these guys 10 stars.

The whole team did great work on getting us a new water heater. We greatly appreciated how communicative they were throughout the process. We had a minor concern about the setup of the condensate drainage system and they responded promptly and addressed our concern at no additional cost. The primary technician, George, was extremely professional throughout the job.

I intentionally wanted to change my water heater into a heat pump water heater. Great NW was by far the most knowledgeable company I called for this newer technology. My house is relatively large and has a recirculating system installed. They advised me that this can be a problem with heat pump heaters (no other company even brought this up when getting quotes, but I was able to confirm this was an issue with a quick internet search), but Great NW knew of a work around and got it all installed in one visit. I can’t recommend them enough, especially if looking to change to a heat pump water heater.

I had Tim Bateman, from Great NW install a water heater in my home. He was friendly, he arrived on time, and his work product was top notch. This install involved some extra plumbing and fitting work. Tim mastered the complications with ease and the finished job looks like it was done by a professional. I’d recommend them for certain.

Austin was excellent, he had our new water heater installed and removed the old one in only a few hours. He walked me through the basic operations and made sure I knew how to maintain it before he left. Definitely recommend them for all plumbing, water heater, gas piping and appliance needs.

Tim installed our new Hybrid Water Heater yesterday, and we are absolutely happy with the results. Tim called us to let us know when he would arrive, and was prompt. Tim was professional and efficient, yet he took the time he needed to place the heater where it needed to be. As he worked, he continually double checked his work to ensure all was as it should be. after finishing the installation, he went through all of our water faucets to verify all was all right. He finished by explaining how the controls worked, and answered any questions we had.
I would fully recommend Tim to anyone.

I noticed water in my garage coming from the hot water tank. I bought the house in 2008 and had no idea how old the tank was, but it was obviously failing. I didn’t know what to do. I called Steve and Prima, the owners, and they asked me about the old tank and had me send a couple of pictures. Then they set me up with a time to come install a replacement. They quoted me a (very reasonable) price, and that was the price I paid. They knew just what to do. The installer arrived right on time and took out the old one, swept and cleaned out the spot, and put the new one right in. No muss, no fuss. These guys are great!! They got you!!

Replaced my hot water heater, and was very impressed with the installation service. Austin was friendly and informative, taking time to answer any questions I had. He called ahead of time to detail when he would arrive, and finished the job earlier than projected. Everything was great, and I would highly recommend based on my experience.

Installed a water heater for me last year at a good price. Installer Tim was great. Less than a year later I experienced a manufacturer defect in the water heater, and Great Northwest took care of it. They ran interference with the manufacturer, got replacement parts expedited, and send out a tech (my buddy Tim again) to fix it within hours of the replacement parts arriving.

I highly recommend Great Northwest Installations. During the January 2024 ice storm I had a pipe burst. All the plumbers had long waiting lists. A friend recommended Great Northwest Installations. Steve was great on the phone and kept me updated about getting service. Their tech Tim was able to come even though my street was solid ice. Tim diagnosed the issue then went above and beyond by using my shovel to break up the ice in the driveway so he had a safe path into my house. He explained everything he did and gave preventative suggestions for the future. Five days without water is no fun. I wish I had called them sooner.

Great Northwest installed a new heat pump water heater for us just this past week, replacing our 23 year old existing one. They get 5 stars in EVERY area! From the onset, Prima, from the front office, made certain during the entire process we were completely informed about each and every detail. It was clear that the two installers, Tim and his "helper", Austin, were complete professionals: their promptness, their care inside our home, their installation work and their knowledge shared with us after the job was finished. We would absolutely hire them again.
