All reviews for New Day Arborist

New Day Arborist was highly recommended by my local nursery. Garrett walked through my property and gave me an assessment of each tree's health, safety and thoughts on maintenance and aesthetics. Very knowledgeable and very practical, gave me great information and options. The crew they sent was very pleasant and professional and the lead, Florentino, had a great eye for aesthetics. They got a lot done in a day, and left my place cleaner than they found it. I'm truly impressed. Thank you!

I want to give a shout out to New Day Arborist and their crew. Andrew, one of the owners came to our home for a consultation. He was and is tremendous folks. He was able to quickly diagnose some issues we had with a few trees ‘health wise,’ and help plan with some crowding issues. Andrew is Extremely knowledgeable, kind, had great ideas. He also worked with me to make the project more affordable. The crew came out today 9/18/2024 and I want to thank each of them individually: Azael, Juan and Christian. Wow - They were efficient!!! One of them was climbing our Quaking Aspen to prune, another took out a sick young tree that died in the heat and frost from 2 years ago. The third one was grinding branches and cleaning all up. Each of them, again, very kind, knowledgeable and efficient. Thank you to all! And to Jacob with scheduling - this all worked out. I’m Beth C. in Tavener Ridge Ridgefield.

We used New Day Arborist to remove large invasive trees on three properties in West Vancouver. The crew was professional, safe, responsible, and skilled. Their price was also the best value of any service we looked at. I highly recommend New Day for any tree projects.

Our neighbor hired New Day Arborist to remove 2 very large trees.
As they needed access to the tree through our yard, they were very nice and very professional.
All debris was cleaned beyond expectations, and they even used great precautions to make sure that our yard wasn’t damaged.
We will definitely recommend them to all who need any removal or trimming.
Wonderful job gentlemen.

New Day Arborist is the go to company especially when you have problem trees like we had. Both Jeff and Garrett were great to work with and everything turned out as promised. I highly recommend calling them for all your tree service requirements.

Update: January 9th, 2026.
Joseph and the crew were absolutely amazing! They removed extremely large trees on my property that were located on a hill and next to the road. The removed approximately nine trees expertly! I can’t say enough about the quality of people and expertise they brought to this difficult project. They dropped each tree with fine precision. Again, I highly recommend New Day for all your arborists requirements! Thank you Joseph and your team.

I called New Day to request an estimate for tree removal after observing the quality of work they performed across the street from my house. We were looking to have a couple of aspen trees removed because their roots and suckers were causing us issues. Garrett was extremely professional during his assessment of our trees/property and provided education on the most effective way to ensure that the trees don't continue to reproduce after it is cut down. The approach he suggested would require his team to make two trips out to our property, which logically would increase the price of the job. To our surprise, not only were we charged a more affordable price than another highly rated local competitor, but it actually ended up being LESS expensive to have the stumps ground down two months later than it would have been based on the quote. Garrett was true to his word when he described how the stump grinding would be charged. Additionally, beyond price, the quality of work was superb. Our stumps were located near fences and sprinkler lines - none of which were damaged. We also had a neighbor, who we had never spoken to before, comment on how professional the crew was while they were grinding the stumps and that he was impressed by the care they took to protect our property. If we need to have anymore work done, we won't hesitate to reach out to Garrett at New Day. Thank you for your excellent service and high quality of work!

The crew was efficient and careful about avoiding damage to nearby plants. I was so impressed with their kindness toward me, my neighbor, and to each other as they worked.

The team did a great job trimming my Oak and Spruce trees and removed the dying maple without any damage to my existing yard. Courteous and professional, cleaned up the place looking better than when they came.

Garrett and his team were excellent and I can't recommend them enough!
New Day's consultation and proposal process was top notch. Garrett was responsive, knowledgeable, and open to questions. I love working with an arborist who loves trees as much as I do!

New Day's team was just as excellent. Garrett was onsite periodically throughout the day. The team was professional, checked in appropriately, and did really excellent work. Our trees look incredible and they did an awesome job with clean up (I think our yard was actually cleaner after they left).

Prices were fair. Quality was exceptional. Thank you to the whole New Day team!

Garrett and his Crew are amazing. All had great attitudes and were very professional. They removed an old Plumb Blossom Tree in less that two hours start to finish. They did an outstanding job on the clean up as well, there was nothing left behind. We highly recommend this company.

Jeff Day and Son were exceptional. My trees were overgrown, touching house. They look beautiful now. This is a professional team. I’m so grateful I found them.
Thank you.

New Day safely trimmed an Atlas Cedar that was hanging over my house. It is so much safer now. They also removed and ground the stumps of two flowering pears. Everything was cleaned up and workers were great. Good job.

We have small yard with about 20 trees that needed trimming and size management. We also had to cut one big cherry tree down and plan to take more trees down in the future. New Day Arborist was really quick at coming to our property to assess the type of project and make a plan that would meet our needs. Very responsive with emails, we scheduled our job shortly there after. The crew was friendly, professional and super fast. In only 3 hours they completed the first project. We are very pleased with the results and with the fact that they thoroughly cleaned up afterwards. The team leader was great at communicating with us at every step, to make sure we would know how the project was coming along and if there were more decisions to be made. The work was done at a very reasonable price (much cheaper than other companies we interviewed). I strongly recommend New Day Arborists.

Garrett and the team at New Day are incredible. They took the time to explain each of the procedures, how it would affect the trees and the surrounding area, and were upfront about pricing and how other companies might upsell you. I always appreciate transparency, and I felt empowered to make the right decisions for my yard based on the information Garrett and his team provided. The crew was on time, pleasant to work with, and it looked like they were having fun while they worked. Happy employees make happy customers, and in this case, happy trees. I will continue to work with New Day for all of my future projects in the yard.

We would like to take a moment to thank New Day Arborist for the amazing job they did with our tree{s} removal following our recent storms. Their crew was incredibly organized, detail oriented, efficient and coordinated. They were prompt, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure that we were satisfied with their service. We definitely would use this New Day Arborist in the future and highly recommend them.

We loved working with Garrett Day and New Day
Arborist. They developed a plan, purchased the tree's we wanted, 49 to be exact, planted and staked them all and have been back to check on them several times. We are at a high elevation and the knowledge and recommendations were just what we needed for our property. The service and personal experience was amazing. I would highly recommend this team.

Extremely prompt and professional. Garrett took the time to walk through the options for tree removal to regain our view. Scheduling and communication was flawless and easy. I would highly recommend them!

I couldn't be happier with the work that New Day Arborist provided. Florentino had excellent communication, listened to my concerns and did exactly what was asked. They picked up after themselves as if they were never here. Highly recommend to anyone looking to have tree work done. The prices were fair and reasonable. Scheduling was easy, they were very flexible as I had to reschedule due to a work conflict a few days beforehand. Overall just very happy with the outcome and the customer service!

Excellent! The crew was amazing. They removed four trees and planted two new ones in only four hours. Job was completed as discussed with the foreman when he arrived. Highly recommend.

New Day has been great to work with. We've used them on multiple commercial projects and I've had nothing but good experiences. They're our first call when we need an Arborist.

I had a crew from this business come out and prune a maple tree that was stretching over our neighbors house in Woodland, WA. The estimator as well as the crew leader were very good at explaining how and why the tree was to be pruned to be most effective and also to protect the health of the tree. (too much cutting can harm the tree) The crew was fast and quite. Very quiet in fact. (save for the chipper at the very last :-) ) All of the people on the crew were very mindful of both properties and the various items in both yards. I liked the result of their work and I would recommend this business.
