Its not always easy to find people in the service industry that are passionate about what they do. Im sure its even harder to find a plumber thats passionate about water heaters. Well thats the only way I can describe Patrick from water heater doctor. He took my call late Friday evening. Set me up with an appointment to repair my hot water heater the following morning. Showed up 10 minutes early and got right to work. Within 35 minutes he had my hot water heater working again. Thank you for your attention to detail and your speedy service!

I had an excellent experience. They promptly answered my call, scheduled a same-day appointment, and efficiently replaced my water heater in just 30 minutes during the afternoon. Highly recommended for their quick response and speedy, professional service!

Like other reviews here, I had a great experience with this company. The 2 man team that was sent out was professional, very competent and did a great job communicating with me on questions prior to the job starting. Pricing is fair and I would definitely recommend them for all water heater work.

Anyone who finds themselves in trouble with their water heater should definitely give these guys a call. I woke up one morning to a very stressful and annoying situation. I went to take a shower and absolutely no hot water was available. I couldn’t figure out what the problem was, so I decided to call up a few companies including the Water Heater Doctor. All of their competition turned me away for same-day appointments, but the water heater doctor was able to come through for me. Their prices were comparable to their competition, and their guys came out in about 3 hours and were able to fix the problem. The plumbers were very respectful, efficient, fast and friendly. I was very impressed, and they will continue to have my business with any problems in the future.

Great experience with these guys. I wish I would’ve called them a few weeks ago when I started having my problem but hey it’s better to have fixed now then not at all. Greg helped get my water heater repaired for a good price. He never pressured me or try to change the price either. We requested quotes from three different places on Yelp. Patrick at Water Heater Doctor replied in under 10 minutes at 6pm on a Thursday with a clear quote that covered replacing the tank and a new expansion tank. Said they could be out next day between 9-11am.

We waited a bit for other quotes. One came in and was a stupid expensive "we don't want your job" price. The other was similar but full of addons. Expansion tank? That'll cost ya. New pipes? That'll cost ya too.

We went with Water Heater Doctor. They were amazing. Showed up on time. Replaced the heater. Discovered while doing the job we needed some new pipes (we had some galvanized pipes, who knew?!), new vent pipe, new shutoff valve, and new check valve. They didn't try and upcharge from the quote! They just did the work that needed to be done for the price they originally said. Oh, and they installed a hand-me-down recirculating pump to replace the one we had that'd been broken for years... and didn't upcharge from the original quote!

These folks were able to fix my water heater right away! I knew my tank was on the fritz, but I didn't expect it to completely stop working so soon. Luckily the Water Heater Doctor was able to send out two plumbers within 3 hours of my call. They were professional and had all the needed parts already in their van, so I had hot water again that afternoon! So grateful for their prompt repair service.

They did a great Job!
A water heater doctor repair man came out and did a great job. They were great at explaining what needed to happen, as I was not familiar with issues that can go on with a water heater.
They were very flexible with scheduling and came out when it was convenient for me, after work. The repair was very quick and I was charged for what was initially discussed, which is a big deal to me.
They cleaned up after themselves and I had hot water!
Overall, I am a happy customer!

I was having water heater trouble in my house. I gave water heater Doctor a call and they picked up. They said they would send someone over the next day. Luke arrived and was really professional. I was wondering if if I needed just repair or replacement. My water heater Just wasn’t getting that hot. Luke said it just needed to be repaired. He did a great job and it took about an hour and a half. I’m really happy with the result and the cost. I would be happy to use them again in the future.

Read this story if your water heater needs repair or replacement. At 8:30 this morning, I noticed our hot water... wasn't hot. I checked our 15 yo water heater and sure enough, it was leaking and done for.

I called Water Heater Doctor because their reviews looked great. Patrick answered my call, asked me to send over a few photos, and called me back 10 minutes later with a reasonable quote... saying he could have someone out before the end of the day!

If you're new to homeownership, it's important to understand that most plumbing companies will gouge you to within an edge of your credit card limit... An honest and skilled service provider, offering fair prices is a rare occurrence within the city limits of Seattle.

It gets better. I got a call at 11:30 am from Patrick saying my tech was 30 minutes out. Jeff showed up at my place a little after noon, and he and his partner were the coolest guys! They proceeded to take out the old water heater, install a new one, clean up their mess, and were gone before 1 pm!

Seriously, Water Heater Doctor is an unbelievably fantastic company. I was not expecting to have hot water three hours after my old tank went out. You just don't get this kind of service anywhere these days... I emphatically recommend them.

I recently bought my first home and it needed (needs) some work.. a friend recommended Water Heater Doctor for Replacement of the old hot water tank. He had used them a few months prior & had a wonderful experience. He said that they could give me a free quote over the phone just by texting photos! That impressed me, since it sped up the process and saved $$ & time!

The technicians that I dealt with were very nice & knowledgeable.. helped me decide on the perfect water heater for my needs & budget. It only took one guy to take care of everything, including removal of the old tank, all in under 2 hours...

TLDR; Decent priced, Nice and knowledgeable person, (highlight) Additional unexpected hassle encountered but NO additional charge. I'll highly recommend this service provider to others.

I've consulted with three providers, Water Heater Doctor has the lowest price, which is nice. However, given the quote is provided via phone only so I was also worried about charges.

When they arrived, I double checked with the estimate before the work started. The price was aligned with the quote given.

My work was supposed to be straight-forward gas tank replacement, which was called "enter and exit within 1 hour", but it ended up taking about 3.5 hours in total. There were a lot of unexpected things going on: the old 2009 tank could not drain well, the new tank was shorter than the original tank so the existing pipe length did not fit, there was a special setup in my old tank that was not picked up from the phone quote etc.

I'm very glad that
1. All of the unexpected issues are well handled. The engineer knows what need to be done. He used custom PVC pipe extending the pipe to fit the height. Install the original setup back to the new tank etc.
2. Because of the extra time on my work, he did not able to work on the next project after mine by the end of the day. There was no complaining, no negative attitude, only "life-happens and let's deal with it". I really appreciate that as it keep me feeling okay.
3. I was really ready for extra charge by the end of it because of the extra amount of work that he put into it. It turned out that the price was still the same. No extra ask or extra charge for the unexpected additional hard work.
4. The person that I worked with (sorry that I kinda forgot his name... I believe it is Brandon or something XD) is a good company. He was able to gain my trust by doing (1-3) above, and also was interestingly training his son along the way. I like him :)

If I have any other projects, or any of my friends need help with their water heater, Water Heater Doctor will be my go-to option.

Water Heater Doctor installed a new unit for me and I’m so pleased. Patrick was wonderful to deal with and after going over everything including a great price for the water heater. He sent Luke and Jeff in a couple of hours to install and these two men worked like a well oiled machine and finished in less than an hour. Luke took the time to go over everything with me which I appreciated. Right after they left, Patrick called to check if I was pleased and to go over the invoice and warranty. What a great group of people to deal with and I would highly recommend them to all. They are so professional and such a pleasure to work with.

Despite of the holidays we got immediate service from Water Heater Doctor in Seattle. Thanks to Patrick on fitting us in their busy schedule during the holiday season otherwise we might have had a cold Christmas without a functional hot water heater.

Patrick was very knowledgeable in his field and informed me a high priced HWH model I picked out was not really necessary for our home. He recommended a lesser priced model which would be more than enough and that saved us some money.

Only a day after the replacement I called with what I thought was an issue. Patrick assured me there shouldn’t be any issue but he would send someone out to find the root cause. He was right and there was no issue.
I was most impressed with Patrick’s patience in listening to my concerns while all the while I believed he knew there was no issue. :). Yet still, he sent an experienced field tech. out to validate all was well, as a just in case scenario. Never once did Patrick sounded upset with my numerous questions. He conducted in the same friendly and professional manner before and after the work, and when payment was made.

A few weeks ago I called Patrick again on another request. Again, he sent a couple of technicians out to our home to address my concern.
