My project was completed last month. The entire process from start to finish was fantastic. During the research phase, I was assigned a team that showed me the sun cycle of my property, reviewed my PSE bills, and designed a system that would best supply my power usage. During the install phase, the team who installed it were very professional. They kept me informed several times each day and explained every step of the install process. They started and finished on time. Upon completion, I was given a very detailed explanation of how the system works, maintenance concerns, warranty, monitoring system, and safety concerns should a PSE power outage occur. Great customer service all around. Glad we did this installation.

A&R aren't always responsive to requests for proposals. This probably reflects the rapid growth of solar and their business. However, A&R is generally highly professional--and they back their products. When leaks appeared in upstairs rooms of our house, I asked both the roofers and A&R to investigate. The roofers response was weak. OTOH, A&R sent two technicians. They actually climbed on the roof to inspect the panels, the attachment points and flashings installed to deflect rainwater. They took photos. They shared the photos with me immediately and described what they saw. A&R Solar took time to ensure I was comfortable that the source of the leak was not their work. This is a good company.

We absolutely loved working with A&R - from start to finish. Everyone there is so down-to-earth and you can tell they love what they do. They did a phenomenal job with the install and I can't tell you how excited we are to have a full set of panels on our roof generating super clean energy every day. We're excited to hopefully get others on board the PV train and we've been wholeheartedly recommending A&R when people ask us about our system. In short, A+ experience all around!

Recently had a photovoltaic solar system along with battery storage/back-up installed by A&R solar. The experience from start to finish was seamless. They spent a lot of time assessing our needs, looking at our property and proposing a system to meet our needs with the best ROI. The staff and onsite crew were some of the most professional and friendly contractors I've worked with and we couldn't be happier with the service and quality that A&R solar provided. Would not hesitate to recommend them.

I had contacted the top panel solar companies I could find in the Tacoma-Seattle area and A&R was one the three I selected for an estimate. My research put them in the short list. I talked to one of their solar pros Turner and he was super helpful, joyful, and knowlegable. I learned more about solar and technologies from him that I did from others. We ended up choosing a local solar provider for our house but the decision was entirely based on convenience (due to proximity) and price (lower overhead).
Later their sales manager Sara Murphy call me to congratulate me on going solar, even if it was not with them, and asked honest questions about how they could improve. I honestly cannot think of any improvement as both Sara and Turner love their job believe in yhe value of solar energy (as I do), and are clearly proud of what they do. It is admirable they want to continue improving which I do appreciate. For all those reasons, I would recommend A&R solar to anybody. Honest, hardworking people who care about the quality of their work and that can only translate into satisfied custumers.

This is the 8th year anniversary of our solar installation and we still could not be more pleased with the service and quality customer service that we have received from A&R Solar. We participated in the Snohomish County PUD solar program and A&R Solar was the chosen installer for new solar installations. They were chosen for a very good reason. Their workmanship, knowledge, and customer oriented attitude cannot be beat. They designed the perfect system for our small north facing home and we have happily saved on our electric bills ever since. They touch base with us at least once a year to make sure that we don't have any questions or to let us know additional information regarding changes in the solar industry. We highly recommend them.

We received bids from 3 different solar providers. Working with A and R was an extraordinary experience for us and by far the best of the 3 providers.

6 years later everything about the process they shared was true and we are not only totally paid off but making money from our system.

We even switched to a heat pump and only use solar electricity to power our own house. We are so grateful and would recommend their work to others!

When I decided to install Solar Power on a building I was building on my property, I got several bids. A&R Solar was not the lowest bid, but I suspect that they were the lowest cost at the end of the project. Every aspect of the job was included in the bid. They scoped the location, made all the arrangements with my utility, talked through the pros and cons of battery storage on site, procured all the equipment and the system was working - producing power to the utility - on the date they had promised. Then, they determined that my electrical contractor had supplied equipment that they had scoped - so they gave me money back. The project management was great, the installation was quick and easy. The best part was their communication throughout the project. I always knew what was happening - no surprises. That is substantially different than my other contractors, and a very pleasant bonus.

A&R Solar were amazing. A different company installed our panels years ago. There was an issue with the panels, and the other company refused to come out to fix a problem, even though the panels were still under warranty. A&R Solar took on the job and were terrific. They problem solved and were solution oriented. It took a while to diagnose and fix the problem, but I am so grateful that they kept at it. Mark Anderson showed me how to monitor the panels with an app, which was not available when we originally had the panels installed. Mark kept us updated and never forgot about us. I would highly recommend this company and can't say enough good things about them.

I recently had a 20 KW solar installation at my house from A&R Solar. My experience was outstanding from beginning to end. Steve, my sales and design consultant, was very knowledgeable and answered many questions to help me design a system that was right for me. He had a no pressure approach and let me consider a lot of different options, and came out to do detailed analysis on my house and expected efficiency based on roof, tree cover, etc, which let me do detailed cost/benefit calculations. They provided an estimate which was very competitively priced. Every promised appointment or email was on time and professional. The installers were top notch, and amazingly fast, and helpful to answer all the questions I had. Connor went above and beyond helping with a few additional requests during the install like helping me set up an energy monitoring system. They also have a referral bonus which is nice as I saw the work they did for a friend. I am looking forward to the benefits of the solar installation for the next 25+ years.

It's been two years and I'm still happy with my solar. So far it's meeting my needs and I'm really grateful for the care A&R put into the finer details of my installation. Just yesterday y'all got a compliment from my electrician, he said your conduit work was flawless. I'd recommend A&R to anyone, especially if you're looking for quality and honesty in a solar installer.

Very professional. We spoke to 4 companies before going with A&R Solar and they clearly knew the most about the space and have been operating for a long time. Installation went smoothly and we are producing more power than we expected. They sync you up with a helpful app to track all sorts of data. Highly recommend.

I couldn't be happier with A&R. From an initial explanatory meeting with Meg, to a recent "flip the switch" with project manager AJ, I found the process of getting solar with A&R to be straightforward and rewarding. My roof is complicated, they had to install on five different roof sections, and carry panels up a long extension ladder for some parts. I was not home during most of the three day installation, but the team arrived on time, happily went to work (in the cold rain!) and left everything tidy. Kudos to a great business and an exceptionally well run operation.

From the first day when the Solar specialist talked to us about a customized Solar setup for our house, A&R Solar has been super professional and helpful in everything. We had our panels installed 3+ years ago and are very satisfied with their service. Their customer service has been top notch every step of the way, they are prompt and responsive whenever you need their support. In fact, we had a small roof issue that came up recently, and they were extremely professional and courteous in how they handled the situation and fixed it for us immediately. I would recommend converting to Solar power to anyone looking for long term savings and caring for our planet, and specifically go with A&R Solar for your installation/service needs. They are really awesome and have surpassed all my expectations!

If you are looking to install solar on your roof, I heartily recommend working with A&R Solar. I researched solar companies for a year before signing with A&R, and their staff were the only ones who could answer all my questions, who knew all the codes and requirements and who designed a system that really reflected my needs. Their installation team was a pleasure to work with -- polite, professional and fast -- and their support staff has also been great at answering ongoing questions. I give them a 5 out of 5!

I am pleased to amend my earlier (poor) rating. Let me explain. I was super happy with the process -- start to finish -- of having A&R install solar panels for us. The sales person was really knowledgeable and helpful, their price was fair, the project manager and install team were all great. Everything worked great for a year and then we ran into issues with the SolarEdge live monitoring. I was not happy with the customer service support I received in trying to resolve this issue. To be fair, A&R was struggling with getting the help from Solar Edge that they needed. The issue is now resolved and I'm quite happy.

This is the company you want for any solar installation. The communication, coordination and professionalism was outstanding. They provide education, so you're well aware of not just how solar works, but information about your equipment as well. We had about 49 panels and 2 Powerwall 3's installed and took between a few days to a week. Extremely happy about the installation by A&R and the piece of mind that if something does need to get replaced, I have 25 years.

A&R did a wonderful job planning, answering our myriad questions, and setting up the ideal system for our needs. The install went smoothly and ahead of schedule and our only hiccup was communicating with the utility company. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a solid solar experience with amazing customer service.

A&R installed our solar panels earlier this year. They weren't the least expensive quote we received, but they had stellar reviews and we liked their design the best. Installation was smooth and our panels are now filling up our net meter bank!
