Very friendly crew, could not bet the price which was half what the major roofing companies quoted us but still the quality and attention to detail was unbelievable could not be happier!!! Cogent construction tore off the torch down on my flat roof,put insulationTPO) on the roof and truly has made a significant change in how much cooler my home was THIS SUMMER!! The membrane they used on top of the insulation will allow me to get insurance on my home for the first time in 10 years.PROFESSIONAL,PUNCTUAL!!!Hard to find companies like this!Highly RECOMMENDED

Super job on our vintage cabin. Made the best recommendation which in our case was for a membrane roof. Roll with the punches when the substructure turn out to be rotted out and put on a new underlay. Not a drip. Not a drop. The rain sounds great patterning on our wonderful roof.

Very professional roofing company, high quality, timely bids, showed up when they said. Good suggestions on some fixes to an old poor roofing job. Left my yard cleaner than when they started. Fit me in when some leaks started. Can't recommend them more highly.

We had the roof on our home and cabin both roofed by Cogent. I love them both. The cabin stands out in a nice colonial red metal roof while the house in town is a more sedate bronze brown metal. The staff is amazing to work with, always punctual and professional. Highly recommend.

I have used Cogent for my residences for many years. I consider them one of the best roofing companies in Washington State, l have tried others in the past, never again. Cogent guarantee their work, and respond quickly if there is a concern of any kind. In 2020 I accidentally dropped a small tree on the corner of the roof of our primary home piercing the roof. Their knowlegable and friendly crew were here in 48 hours or less and did all the repairs and charged very little for my error. I recently had a chimney problem which really wasn't there issue, but they were here very soon after I contacted them and are helping resolve that issue also! If you think you may save a few $$$ elsewhere, don't waste your time.

We have worked with Will, Lisa and the team at Cogent Construction for all of our new construction roofing projects for over 10 years. They are flexible, dedicated, accurate and quick! I'd recommend them to anyone without a doubt.

I called and left a vm asking for a call back about whether they could do a skylight repair or, if not, could they recommend someone. After a week, I never heard back from them. I was able to find another contractor who finished the work on time as promised.
