Called Steve regarding what I thought was a low refrigerant charge in my refrigerator due to the freezer section really struggling to maintain temp. He suspected an airflow issue through the condenser and explained how common it is for freezers to struggle in the high temps we've been having. Ended up blowing out the condenser and been watching the temps all day. still holding at -1 or 0F. At the time I talked to him at 9:55am, the freezer was already up to 5 degrees. I sent him a pic of the temp readings on the panel at 12:35, and temp was 0. This time the day before, we were at 9 or 10 degrees. If I end up needing any other appliance repairs, i'll be giving him a call.

Steve was quick to respond to my inquiry and easy to work with. Extremely personable and knew exactly what he was doing. Cannot have imagined a better or easier experience. Highly recommend!

I have known Steve Gilbert for over 30 years and have always found him to be honest and trustworthy and quite reasonable with his charges.

I also appreciate his advice that saves me money when I wonder whether I need to upgrade an old appliance that is still working. We discuss energy efficiency of the upgrade, and he tells me I don't need a new appliance.

Called Steve to get some help with a dead electric double wall oven. Steve diagnosed the probable cause and problem over the phone. This was a couple of days before Christmas. He noted he probably couldn't get a part in time to save Christmas dinner and recommended another potential part place. (They couldn't help either) He was very honest and knowledgeable. I will be asking Steve to do all my appliance repair in the future!

I’d highly recommend Steve. He’s an honest guy who knows his stuff. Feels like your being taken care of by a neighbor. He did a great job explaining the problem and the fix. He even gave me some tips on general maintenance. On top of that, very reasonable price. If I ever have another appliance issue I’m gonna call Steve to help me out.

My Viking double wall oven was in need of a repair so I looked on Google for companies with high reviews and came across Steve's Appliance. I called and left a message and Steve called me back within 15 minutes to let me know he didn't service that model but he put me in touch with another company that did. I really appreciated the time he saved me and that he was so prompt in calling me back, even when it didn't financially help him. Thank you Steve!

Highly recommend using Steve's Appliance & Refrigeration. He was prompt, professional and has great prices. We arranged the service from Canada at a Gilbert property and he went the next day and fixed the problem. I will definitely us him again next time.

I called & spoke w Steve regarding my dryer, he quoted reasonable prices & we scheduled for the next day. He worked his magic in less than 1 hour & were up & running again! The work cost less than his anticipated quote too!!

Above and Beyond! I called Steve on a Saturday afternoon about an issue with my KitchenAid refrigerator. Steve wasn't able to come out to see the appliance as he was out of state at the time. Steve was amazing though and still took the time to walk through diagnostics with me over the phone. Steve dedicated 35min of his time over the phone with me and I was able to finally get the unit back in operation. Couldn't have done it without him, and he didn't have anything to gain other than being a genuinely caring person. Certainly has all my future business!

Steve repaired my automatic ice maker on 10/19/21. It's not often that you enjoy the experience of having an item repaired in you home but I did. Steve patiently showed me how the ice maker works and how I can trouble shoot the small issues. He's a very nice and polite gentleman and his invoice was very reasonable! Don't hesitate to call Steve if you need assistance.

Steve performed the repair of my washing machine in an outstanding manner. Although his call-back to my phone request came after I placed a service order with a large national company, I decided to hire him instead because of his honest approach. After I explained the problem and he stated that he normally does not work on the model I have, he offered to come out later today regardless because the large company could not get out for a week. He was considerate and did the job professionally and charged me a fair price. I will use his services if needed again.

Updated 10/16/12 about 3 years later, I needed to call Steve again for another repair. Service was Prompt, Well Done, and Fair Priced. Still a great person to call for help. ...Howard

I called Steve about our dryer, which wasn't working even after my husband had replaced a few parts. Steve was super friendly and narrowed down the most likely issue over the phone, but I was too far out of his service area for him to come fix my dryer himself. No one else in the area that I had called could be here for over a week, and I had no idea how I was going to make that work with my husband needing his uniforms and my kids needing their masks for school. He had no obligation whatsoever to help me at that point, but he told me what part was needing replaced, and explained that my husband could very likely do it himself with the help of YouTube. He even walked me through how to access the parts over the phone. I ordered the parts ASAP, and now we have a working dryer! I am SO grateful for his help, and will absolutely recommend him to my friends in his service area. He's a kind, upstanding, and very knowledgeable guy. Thank you so much, Steve, you really saved me a huge headache!
