I had a blast learning this new skill set and Aaron is an amazing instructor! I’m hooked and I’m excited to build on what he has taught me. The retreat is held in a very peaceful, picturesque location and Aaron’s wife is a fantastic host. I highly recommend this carving class if you are at all curious about carving wood with a chainsaw.

If I could give Aaron Chávez 10 stars, I would! He was amazing to watch as he turned a tree stump into art, and brought my eagle to life! What a fabulous gift he has! I highly recommend him to everyone !

We had an unfortunate incident where our very large ponderosa pine had to come down. If we ended up grinding the stump down, it would have created an enormous hole in our yard and we definitely didn’t want that! We contacted Chavez Carving and we are soo happy we did! He created such a beautiful piece of art in our front yard that makes me not miss the tree that came down! Everyone stops us and thanks us for creating a beautiful piece of art for the neighborhood to enjoy! Will definitely be contacting again for future projects.

I was gifted a raven/owl carving and I absolutely love it! It's the perfect addition to my porch.
We even decorate the raven for parties at our house!

I randomly came across Aaron Chavez chainsaw artist on Facebook and couldn’t believe how wonderful his pieces were. I contacted him through Facebook and requested an owl carving. I was able to purchase one and love it so much, it’s gorgeous! I have already requested 2 more pieces when he has time. I highly recommend seeking him out for wood carvings, true artist w/amazing skills!

Have been looking for quite a while for carvings for my rock areas. Saw Aaron when I searched on google and he is very nearby my home. Great communication right from the first contact. An awesome artist and human being. I got 5 of his creations and they were all delivered on time. 3 delivered quickly and 2 were carved and came when he said. A man/business of integrity--something not found very often these days.

Aaron and his son placed some of their beautiful carvings in my farm shop last season. My customers absolutely loved them. So detailed and well carved! Even more beautiful in person than they are online. I highly recommend!

Aaron Chavez carved an owl into what was left of a ponderosa we had removed. It looks amazing! He's a true craftsman and artist who was such a joy to work with. He listened carefully, while bringing his own artistry and imagination to make a sculpture come alive. We love the way he continues to innovate and the way he uses the owl's body language to make them come alive. The big owl stands guard looking over her shoulder at our street corner, while two baby owls nestle in their little nooks below her. We love his work! And he's such a great person that we felt fortunate to spend time with him.
