Rob and his team did a great job clearing and lining our root choked storm drain. They gave a reasonable quote, scheduled the work to be done quickly and provide a top quality product and service. Highly recommend.

I had Robert and his crew come out and repair 2 sewer lines. Their professionalism, honesty and work ethic were simply astounding. I would recommend R & D to anyone that needs sewer or excavation work.

With an expected sewer issue, R&D Construction were recommended by a plumber friend our ours. Robert Ayers and crew had the latest technical equipment to analyze our situation; a video feed showed what needed to be done. We hired Robert Ayers and his excellent crew of Patrick and Roy and they used updated techniques to limited landscape damage. Secondly, the replacement piping was top notch. We have an older home which previously used Orangeburg pipe which had collapsed --it (also known as "fiber conduit", "bituminous fiber pipe" or "Bermico") is bitumenized fiber pipe made from layers of wood pulp and pitch pressed together. R&D Construction did an amazing job. Thanks!!

I called Robert at R&D after getting several bids to help with a root intrusion on our sewer line and grinder box. Robert came out and did a difficult excavation on our hillside lot, repaired the problem and had his crew put the landscaping back together. Other companies that bid on the job misdiagnosed the problem and would have cost us twice the money without solving the problem. I would recommend R&D for sewer work and excavation.

Excellent service, professional and trustworthy. Not only did K&D's bid come in over $8,000 cheaper than Harts, from 20k down to 12k, after the job was completed my client received a new invoice for over $3500.00 less than original bid because he was able to complete the repair a less expensive way and do it quickly so my client could close her home on time. I manage a 12 unit apartment building and we had a sewer line break/blockage causing sewage back up in some units. Yuck!
Robert was referred to me by the rooter guy. He came out quickly and gave me a reasonable bid that was clear and complete.
I was so impressed with his knowledge and manner that I canceled the other bids and only two days later, the replacement sewer line work was finished, quickly and professionally. I am very pleased with this company and grateful for Robert's prompt attention to our problem which could have been so much worse if I had had to wait days for a repair. He is easy to work with and communicates well, always important when it is necessary to keep tenants informed. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. R And D construction is does great work for a very reasonable and competitive price. I had my side sewer replaced. Robert came out took a look at the sewer, knew exactly what needed to be done. Gave me an estimate told me he could do the work in a day. He was true to his word showed up that day at the time he gave me and got the work done.

Robert and his crew did an excellent job connecting us to the city sewer. Their bid was great and their work great, too. They did the job quickly and even cleaned up after themselves, too! Recently had R&D do some sewer work for me. The owner Robert Ayers was very good to work with. Very competitive bid, no fluff approach to just getting the work done and done right for long term. I would definitely recommend the R&D construction company.

We bought a house in Tacoma and of course the sewer line was beyond its life. We called several contractors. Some never called back, others came in and just shot a high number and left. Robert's team came out took a lot of time with us to explain the different types of pipe we had and gave us the most cost effective solution that wouldn't tear up the entire yard. When it came time to do the work, they showed up and complete the job ontime and with great professionalism. We had a couple questions after and Robert was quick to answer and address our questions. I would highly recommend R&D they provide a level of customer service second to none and the their work product is Solid (Sorry bad pun).

I completely recommend Robert and his team! They put a sewer liner in our damaged pipe and once permitting was approved, the work was completed in one day. The team was friendly and Robert was VERY responsive to any email questions we had. We plan to hire him again for some excavation work we will need.

During a kitchen remodel, a plumber discovered two serious issues with out sewer. We looked at reviews and saw that R&D Construction got high marks. We got bids from several places. The cost range was huge. We liked Robert’s honesty and integrity so chose R&D, which was also the most affordable option. We needed the work done before the plumber started work. R&D fit us in within 3 weeks. The work was outstanding! City inspector was very pleased.

R&D Construction exceeded our expectations. We needed a septic tank emptied & decommissioned, and a connection to a sewer line installed. After waiting months for another company to schedule the work, we contacted R&D. Robert came right out, gave us a fair estimate, and got right to work on our job. He communicated with us throughout the process. He took care of all the paperwork, coordination and approvals with Pierce County. He synchronized all the subcontractors and the varied steps that were involved. In the end, the actual work was completed within 5 hours. I would definitely recommend R&D in all regards.
