Sun Country Homes builds a great home in a timely and efficient manner!!

I have worked with Dexter and Sun Country homes on 4 of their new builds so far and counting. Dexter runs a tight ship, is responsive, and stays on schedule.

Our new home is wonderful. The house is well insulated so we are warm and comfortable. We love our floor plan. Highly recommend this builder. The finishing touches through out are perfect. We have been moved in since mid December. Come see these homes. You will like what you see.

Sun Country was fantastic to work with. They made the whole planning process efficient and adjusted to any changes we had. They were very responsive and we couldn’t be more pleased with our home.

The team at Sun Country was amazing to work with from the lending side. They were able to keep all timelines as well us update us every step of the way! No lock extensions needed and nothing but a smooth closing and happy clients!

We purchased and moved into a new Sun Country Home in Dec, 2019. Sun Country builds a great quality home. Their service and responsiveness, both before and most importantly after the sale, is outstanding. The materials used are very good, including things like insulation, trim/accents, and construction materials, resulting in a solid home build. The subs they use for things like electrical, plumbing, landscaping, etc are all excellent as evidenced by my personally using all of them for some installs/modifications/projects that my wife and I have done over the past 6-7 months. They are all GREAT! I would most certainly buy another Sun Country Home in the future, and I highly recommend them if you are considering a great value home in the Vancouver/Battle Ground area.

We love our Sun Country home. The entire process from start to finish was great, they communicated with us every step of the way. Comparing this experience to our previous home building experience was night and day. Dexter was great informing us of the timelines for everything and always gave us ample time to make decisions before necessary so we never felt rushed. Since this is our “forever” home we had specific requests when it came to the electrical, finishes, landscape, appliances, etc. and we were always put in touch with the sub-contractors to express directly to them to avoid any confusion. From our past experience with a different builder, this was not the case and led to many after the fact changes. We didn’t experience a single thing that wasn’t exactly what we wanted or envisioned. With Sun Country Homes we were able to build the perfect home and would highly recommend them.

One of the best home buying experiences I have ever had. The home was big, beautiful, spacious, and the floor plan was perfect. The large windows were amazing. Kitchen was awesome. All the bedrooms were great. Dexter and his team did a great job on everything. Best HVAC system I've ever had. Insulation must have been great too. Great quality. The outside looked great too. Yard was great. Sprinkler system was great. Privacy fence looked amazing. I've built 3 homes myself and this one was just as if I had built it myself. High quality construction. Beautiful area to live. Any time I needed anything, Dexter would get it taken care of quickly. He went above and beyond for anything I asked. He even helped me when he didn't have to help me. I now consider Dexter a good friend. He stays calm and cool at all times. He is respectful at all times. Great guy. I couldn't recommend a home builder more than Sun Country Homes.

We had a great experience purchasing our new home from Sun Country Homes. The process was smooth, the team was professional and responsive, and the quality of the home really stands out. We had a five star experience with Sun Country Homes. We felt comfortable with the builder from our first meeting and throughout the process. He was easy to work with, knowledgable and personable. We were part of the home building process from just after permits were pulled so were able to observe the entire house being built and were involved with choosing the various design elements. The process was smooth and clear as we worked directly with the designated cabinet and flooring design centers. The house was built in just under five months so ahead of the five month estimate provided originally. We even had a few last minute design changes we wanted to make and the builder was able to make that happen which we really appreciated. We have been in the house now for a couple of months and all is well. I would highly recommend Sun Country Homes.

So many problems with this company and our house built by them... too many to list. Bottom line, the owner yelled at me one day and later apologized as he was getting lots of complaints and basically flipped his lid on me. Terrible realtor associated with them and terrible contractors. Had to replace appliances (repairman said they were cheap), faulty electrical wiring, furnace went out, and the cheapest toilets around says the plumber. We had upper end home by them so we didn’t expect to replace everything they did. Don’t buy sun country home!!!!
