We'd like to give a big shout out to J's Custom Landscaping. Our experience started with a visit from Jason, who listened to our concerns and offered insightful ideas and suggestions. They installed a retaining wall, salvaged our old fence (saving money) to place on top of it, raised our yard 2 feet, improved the soil, placed sod, established flower beds set sprinklers and installed landscape lights. The crew of Aldofo, Jose R, and Jesus were very hard and skilled worker. They cleaned up every night and kept a very neat construction site. The end result far exceeded our expectations. Jason kept outstanding communication before, during and after the project. He always responds quickly to messages. We will certainly use J's again, and if we are really lucky, get the same crew. Talk about a group of folks that go above and beyond in every way. They are easy to work with, don’t try to nickel and dime you and their work is pro. I would hire them 100 times over again and highly recommend anybody wanting landscaping work.

What an amazing experience working with this company! After my initial inquiry, we were contacted immediately, and met with Greg (project manager) within a few days. We had a quote a week later, and we were on their schedule shortly thereafter. We cannot believe how great they were to work with. We tweaked our design a bit, and they accommodated - graciously! Greg was super communicative, knowledgeable, and helpful. He made good suggestions, and enhancements and we are very happy with the result. I should mention, that the crew was also very friendly, hardworking and efficient. To top it off, J's was fairly priced. We had done two very expensive projects (at another house) with another local landscaping company, but we were quite disappointed with the second result. We decided to contact J's for this project, and I cannot tell you how glad we are that we did. Well done J's!

Jay and his team did a fantastic job with our front of house landscape project. Jay was great to work with as he helped develop cost effective solutions to existing issues, provided great suggestions for new plants, and did a great job communicating next steps all along the way. The project team was very nice and did a wonderful. Definitely recommend and look forward to working with them on future projects!

J's was a savior for a finishing a project we started with another company. Nick was phenomenal in listening to our concerns and was open to what we were looking for. He made us feel heard and accommodated every question with no hesitation. We really felt like a valued customer. He made adjustments through out the project and continuously evaluated how things were going. The crew was awesome as well. They worked super hard and fast and completed earlier than quoted. We are extremely happy and will likely return should our landscape needs require professional services. Highly recommend!

J's Custom Landscaping did a fantastic job at our home! We moved into a rental home that was overrun with weeds and in just a day, this company had our yard looking beautiful! The employees are friendly, prices are reasonable and best of all - they stand by their work! When I found a stubborn tree growing back after the initial service, someone was right back out with heavy duty weed killer. We had a great experience with this company and wouldn't hesitate to contact them again when we get our own place. Thank you J's!!

The experience working with J’s was fantastic from start to finish. They were extremely attentive and communication was prompt and never delayed. We scheduled the initial estimate and Jay came out personally to do it. He listened to our ideas and asked questions to make sure he understood our vision. He suggested things to help us realize our vision but never pressured us to spend more or change our overall vision. Within a couple of days he supplied an estimate along with numerous pictures of things we talked about to ensure we were all on the same page. The crew that came out was fantastic to work with and extremely efficient. The entire job was done in 4 days with some additional small projects we added during the job. The final result was amazing and even the neighbors are asking who did the work and to put the cherry on top, the final cost was BELOW the original estimate. All in all, the entire experience was amazing and we would highly recommend J’s to anyone looking for some landscape projects.

I had J’s install a stone path. They did an outstanding job. They were on time, polite, and responsive to my instructions and concerns. I would definitely hire them again!

These guys did a retaining wall in my backyard and did an excellent job. Couldn't believe they completed the wall, put in a bunch of River Rock and the back filled it w dirt and it only took 3 days to complete. Prices were very reasonable.

J's was fantastic in all aspects of their service. Jason was clear and communicative with his estimates and the time to completion (except they over delivered on that!). All of questions we had along the way were timely answered and they were adaptable to our needs. Highly recommended!

We hired J’s Custom Landscaping to transform our backyard in March of 2014. Before we started the project we got bids from multiple landscapers. The reason we picked J’s Custom Landscaping was because the owner, Jay, took the time to really listen to what we wanted to do. We started off the quote with literally everything we would want in our yard, we then customized the request to fit within our budget with getting those most bang for our dollar.

Our project ended up consisting of, two stacked boulder retaining walls (3-4 feet tall), a beautiful waterfall with a small pond, putting in a french drain to help with our soggy weather and drainage from the neighbors uphill, expanding our lawn to double what we had before, new sprinklers and reinstalling our existing gravel path and side French drain due to the need for equipment to get in the backyard. The project was bid to take approximately a week, weather permitting.

Jay’s team did a wonderful job of turning our small backyard full of elevation changes into a larger feeling space we could get out and actually enjoy. Our friends and family who come over are always wowed by how beautiful and functional the space is now.

Recently we had an issue regarding our reinstalled french drain on the side of our yard that caused for water to start pooling in our path and flow under the house. As soon as Jay and his team heard about this they came out, assessed what happened and reinstalled a new french drain. To me it is one thing to make a space look nice, but to stand behind your work three years later is amazing and so appreciated!

I would definitely recommend working with this company to transform your space. They are reasonably priced, hard working, very ethical and stand behind their work. You couldn’t ask for a better landscaping company.

We can't express enough how impressed we are with Nick and his crew who have now done a few major projects for us. Nick was involved every step of the way and super approachable. He really listened to us. And his crew of three were professional and very hard working. They were able to navigate some tricky spots when putting in our pavers and stairs. Love our new outdoor spaces and would highly recommend this company.

The experience I had with J's Custom Landscaping, was one that will keep me coming back for more. They hit all the customer focused spots: Responsive, easy to communicate with, listened to my ideas and plans, offered advice, flexible on schedule (which was massive for me as I was building new and the dates for landscaping kept changing based on if the concrete was poured or not), and mostly - they finished the job quickly, efficiently and everything looks great.

I know I'll be using them again for more jobs personally and for business use. I would certainly recommend giving them the opportunity to impress you too.

When we purchased our home the back yard was a mess, and the HOA wanted the front yard cleaned up immediately. I did the research and based upon my criteria (established company, well designed online website, landscaping work, yard maintenance, regular invoices, online payment) I found J's Custom Landscaping.

They worked with us (remotely) to fit us into their yard maintenance schedule to address the HOA concerns and then worked with us on cleaning up the back yard. They did a wonderful job that has been noticed by our new neighbors.

The most recent job was the removal of three raised planter beds. We initially thought about planting vegetables. As part of the big back yard clean-up, we had drip irrigation put in, and then we put tarps over them so we would not get weeds. But they started to fall apart.

We found rotten wood along the outside, and when J's team removed the dirt, the rotten wood was inside around each of the three planter beds. They removed them, put down commercial grade landscape fabric, and then rock to match the rest of the back yard. The result is that it looks like the planter beds were never there. They also added a frost-free faucet, so we have a place to connect a hose (still on the sprinkler timer) in that corner of the back yard.

We are extremely pleased with the work that J's team did. The price was a bit more than we expected, but it is worth it to get a professional job that exceeds your expectations.

I work with a lot of vendors, and this company always stands out. Their communication and quality of work are top-tier. If you care about quality and working with a good, honest company, look no further.
